help 910L boot loop - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So, I have a note 4 910L from Korea. Korean bootloader, the download menu is in korean...everything korean. Updated to android 5.1.1.
Tried to root. Used odin to flash twrp. And now I am stuck in a boot loop (see the android logo, proceed to the LTE logo and restarts).
I've tried clearing cache and doing a factory reset from the recovery menu (doesn't start with twrp) but no luck...
Right now I am downloading stock rom N910LKLU1BOB4_N910LLUC1BOB4_LUC from sammobile but that's for android 5.0.1 but I doubt it will fix anything.
Any ideas on how to fix this? I have been reading through the forum and this issue keeps popping up, but couldn't find the fix (plus it seems that the loop is different than what I get ).
Also: do I really need to install the 910L thing? Can't I just put 910F (for example) ?
LE:
Managed to get it started using kies->update firmware. Still with **** apps and korean fonts here and there
LE2:
Yap, so odin+cfroot leads into a bootloop.... So, still looking for a fix

[Q] unable to install Gapps after installing latest 4.4.2 firmware

Hi there,
Long time lurker on the forums here, and have been browsing around the whole day to find a solution to my problems without luck .
Yeasterday I received my Galaxy Note 3 (N900T), but I had very poor reception, I thought this was because the N900T was appearantly a US model which I wasn't aware of, but since hardware was the same I decided a custom rom might fix things up.
I installed the latest CM 11 nightly and appropriate google apps but without any luck (reception still bad)
Then I decided to install the origional 4.4.2 firmware for T-mobile N900T, now the reception and everything works just fine, but I get a bunch of errors that google app x (youtube, playstore etc) have stopped working, so I get alot of these pop-ups and can't use the playstore.
I thought: Ok I just need to install the latest Gapps for the 4.4.2 version, there's where the problem comes in. When I booted into recovery it would boot into the standard android recovery and not CWM recovery. I couldn't do anything in the normal recovery mode to install gapps. So I managed to download the rom manager through my browser and just installed that without the playstore, after this i installed the recovery, found out my root was undone after the patch.
I then downloaded the chainfire thingy and flashed it with odin, which all worked fine and I managed to root my phone again. When opening SuperSU it says there was some 'KNOX thingies remaining which I said ok take away. After this I installed the CWM recovery, and said: Launch ClockworkMod recovery so I could install the new version of Gapps there. However: This is where it gets stuck in a loop trying to launch the bootloader, and I was unable to get into the bootloader. The only way to stop the bootloader loop was to take out the battery, boot into download mode and cancel the download mode after which my phone would continue to boot normally.
After this I tried to flash the 4.3 version of android with odin, and even reflashing the current 4.4.2 version, but I can't flash any roms with odin anymore as it gives me the Fail! Auth. error everytime in odin.
If anybody could help me that would be greatly appreciated!
Just to clarify:
I am still working on this, I downloaded Goomanager and installed TWRP recovery, but no luck, my phone will simply get stuck in a loop when i try to boot it into recovery. I can still startup my phone normally, but it's quite useless without gapps.
Thanks in advance for any assistance, I really feel lost on this one :/
Maybe its too late but I wonder if it would have helped if you install another kernel when you had CM11. Maybe that would have had solve the problems with the reception? I'm a total noob at this, so I don't know, its just something that I thought of.

Not sure but when i upgraded my N9006 to KitKat and tried to root it using cf-auto-root for my phone it went into a boot loop. I ended up using the one designed for N9005 as it specifically stated it was made for the 4.4 boot loader. I'm guessing the other ones are for 4.3?

I managed to flash the philz recovery with odin, I got the phone working now, except when I make a call I'll loose all mobile network signal afterwards. Unsure how to solve this. Could I flash a European stock firmware to my n900t?

Arg, possible brick but can get into download mode and connect with Odin

I did something stupid and flashed this Bootloader with odin on my Sprint GS5 US G900P. After the flash seemed to go ok it just re-boots and stays on the Sprint Logo. I can Vol up and down to get to recovery and Download mode but I'm not sure what I should be re-flashing to get my phone to boot up again?
Can someone help please?
I re-flashed my boot to NE5 Galaxy_S5_spr_Stock.Kernel_NE5.tar from here here. Now it gets past the logos and starts to load but freezes the little google loading animation and then goes to screen black
try this
as you can enter download mode
just flash stock firmware
before boot phone go to recovery mode (after flash)
wipe all
wipe data factory reset
wipe cache partition
reboot
Thanks for the suggestion AEkiz. I couldn't find a stock firmware. Links seemed to be dead around here and I couln't find it on the Samsung site.
However this has semi-worked for me:
I flashed 5.0 imgae SM-G900P_OA6_FullRestore.exe
Install seemed to work just fine.
Then I reinstalled my Backup of (Mystery build) 4.4.2
Installed Galaxy_S5_spr_Stock.Kernel_NK4.zip form the file All_Kernels_thru_OA6.zip via Odin
Then my device just booted!
But there are some issues:
1. My device still says it's running OA6 even though I flashed NK4. Oddly enough it WAS on NE5 in the first place but when I tried to flash and NE5 firmware it got stuck on the Google logo. now I'm just confused on all these Nxx versions.
2. My fingerprint scanner is now dead.
3. My camera has a bunch of funky artifacts so I can't really use it anymore.

A300FU return to Stock

hi Guys
after running Lineage 14.1 for a while i have to return to stock.
After following various guides i am stuck at the samsung boot logo.
Using ODIN i have tried 5.0.1 and 6.0.1 firmware and both appear to flash ok in ODIN with "Success"
After a 5.0.1 flash, it boots and goes through the Android optimising applications process but after that and a reboot it gets stuck again
Flashing 6.0.1 does not even get the the optimising stage and gets stuck
I struggle to boot into recovery and cannot power down at all
Now completely baffled and looking for help.
Thanks -

Did you factory reset before you flashed stock?
The 1 file "HOME" stock firmware doesn't factory reset after flash, so maybe that's why.
Try find a 4-file firmware of latest version available. They perform reset after flash and usually fixes most software problems.
thanks tys0n for your help and direction.
Managed to get TWRP back and then factory reset + advanced wipe everything
ODIN 6.0.1 and everything is back to stock
thanks again -

[Solved] Boot loop after installing rom

I tried to install the batman rom. I must have done something wrong, but now I cant reboot in to system, nor can I reboot into twrp. I tried installing twrp again and it fails when following the instructions. Now I only get a bootloop
I installed batman rom with defaults, It changed csc to german.
I have a sm-g950FD
Followed this guide:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTi3uBkpJic
Downloaded the bootloader QF7
flashed it via odin.
Was able to flash the twrp but cant boot into twrp
I followed this guide to completely reset my device:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2y0ZZxcNVnE
and nothing
it continues to bootloop. Can anyone give me some insight?
Edit Downloaded this firmware:
SM-G950FD_1_20170920085414_7s78fc4emo_fac from http://updato.com
Flashing now lets see what happens...
Edit: Nothing worked. I think I am completely stuck Any suggestions?
I am not sure which firmware to flash? I dont know my pda version any way I can find out?
It is a sm-g950FD and when I first booted it the language was in spanish. Looks like there are very few sm-g950FD made for the spanish market. 3 guesses: Bolivia, Philippines, Brazil (I know they speak Portuguese). Does it matter which region I get the firmware from?
Installed the Bolivian G950FXXU1AQF7
Weird series of events, I was just about to give up, while handing it to the postdoc in my lab I pressed either power + Vol up or power + Vol down (I don't remember which one) and suddenly I see the little android with the spinning icon on a blue screen. Essentially a miracle WTF?
Same phone same issue for me. I had to get the original firmware from sammobile site and use Odin to flash the back to stock. No matter what with other ROMs I get bootloops.
Did you manage to solve the problem. I also followed the guide, odin pass, but the phone after reboot goes into bootloop again.

Note 3 SM-N9005, Can't Boot to recovery.

My N9005 is unable to boot into recovery, whenever i try it will start to boot and then just restart itself.
When trying to reboot normally the cyanogenmod loading screen is very laggy and it just reboots after a while.
occasionally it will start normally (1/20 tries).
I tried to reflash twrp with odin but it makes no difference.
Cyanogenmod version 12.1-20161016-NIGHTLY-hlte.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Flash stock rom via Odin to get a working phone.
Or restore your Nandroid.
Reflashed stock rom and phone was working perfectly. stock recovery was also working.
Then rooted with CF-autoroot and it went well.
Then i tried to install TWRP custom recovery and it still won't let me boot to recovery.
Android version is 5.0 if that matters?
Edit: Managed to make it work with another version
Did you find a solution? I have thee same issue
Thanks
HELP with n9005 custom recovery
HI i have the same problem with n9005 i have rooted but whenever i flash twrp or cwm i end up with no recovery..phone shows set warranty but recovery msg then reboot to system...any help?
CWM no longer used .
You are probably flashing the wrong TWRP .
No i have verified the info and I have the correct twrp but still can't get it to run
same here
good evening everyone,
I come back to this forum because I have this beautiful phone that I can not update the android version 9.
On the recovery I can not go beyond the version 2.8.7.0, if I try to put a more recent version it remains in bootloop even if I restart manually.
To know that I have the HTLE model, the only thing is that I replaced the screen with a Chinese model.
then I put the original version back via odin and it goes back to version 5.
I am completely desapointed, I do not know what to do to put it under android 8+ !!!!
PLEASE HELP
