Over 4000% Battery? - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi XDA Community,
So I just tried updating my ROM (BlissPop) and it was really buggy so I restored a backup of my old version - before I updated.
Everything was working fine but my battery indicator is odd, it is a full circle battery with a + sign in the middle, nothing else. Naturally, I find this a bit odd. So I go to my battery settings and see that it has over 4000% battery left?! No idea what has happened or why it is doing this.
Stuff I've tried:
-Wiping cache
-Wiping dalvik
-Reflashing (dirty flash)
-Draining the battery completely
-Deleting batterystats.bin
-Fully charging it (I hope, can't actually tell if its fully charged or not since it always displays over 4000% and fully charged anyway).
Yet none have solved the problem.
Here is a screenshot if you would like one:

Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance :good:
EDIT: Reflashed ROM and working fine now. Could a Mod please close this thread

Do you have a custom kernel? Did you flash Chainfires modified boot.img? Dirty flash Blisspop again and see if it fixes it.

Yep thanks. Reflashed BlissPop and some other mods/tweaks (V4A, Hellscore kernel) and fixed the problem! Thanks.

Are you using a custom kernel? Maybe flash the stock kernel.
Or you could try reverting back to stock (wiping your SD card and all)

Actually it's been a while im not on Kitkat but have you followed typical procedures? Unfreezing apps, restarting phone, checking your mods, etc. The answer is probably "what you did before you start to get the error". Can you give detailed information about these things? Then Doc may help you if it's a rom based fault.
New flashing rom everything from wipe cache and data other thing not work I used celesiko rom there was no problem
I googled your problem, do you have a chance to back up with titaniumbackup and make a factory reset?
Might be late to the party but I had crash issues after a fresh install.
Seemed to be an issue with how rom is flashed using twrp.
Did you use cwm or twrp?

You probably freezed the NFC - unfreeze it and issue is solved
Why just ask this Doctors own thread?

Super high battery use on CM13 (from NFC?)

My battery loses charge super quick and I have no idea why, it was never this bad on my S4. On the latest nightly of CM13, this is what I get from BetterBatteryStats and the Battery menu in settings respectively.

I've disabled NFC and even uninstalled the app with titanium backup (after backing it up of course). BetterBatteryStats is also telling me 98% of the time the screen is off my device is awake
I'm guessing you have kltedv (SM-G900I) device then you will have to flash kltedv specific version of cm13 here.
Alright, will do, thanks.
edit: I've also renamed the Nfc apk in system/app/nfc or whatever the folder is called (has nfc in title) and that's seemed to help immensely, but I will also flash this new rom, thanks! also, how'd you know I was on a G900I?

@343N I've same device, it have different nfc chip then klte thats why it causes battery drain but when I flash klte roms I usually delete nfc folder completely when flashing with help of built-in file manager from recovery solves that problem. Anyway just flash kltedv official build then no need to mess around with nfc issues anymore.

Always awake on all roms

Few days ago I bricked my G2 - its partitions was damaged and I formatted the storage and restore it using "BoardDiag 3.99c". After that I put the stock Lollipop rom (5.0.2) and noticed that the battery is rapidly drained because the phone stays awake. Before the bricking it was running the latest stable CM 13 rom and when I don't use it (I have another "daily" phone) it lasts about a week on a single charge. So after the stock LP I put the CM 13 back with OpenGapps pico and the battery was melting again very fast, showing that the phone is always awake. I disabled the usual things - the wifi's keep on, location, etc - still without any success. I forgot to say that all installations was clean and performed on formatted partitions - wiped data, cache, dalvik, system, etc.
Then I thought that the Gapps was playing with me and performed another clean install WITHOUT gapps - same issue... So I installed CPU Spy, Wackelock detector and BetterBatteryStats and here are the results:

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I'll be glad if you can give me any directions where to look for the problem. And one more thing, maybe it's related with the battery drain problem - the phone feels a little laggy after the unbricking - it unlocks slower when it's left for 5-10mins, sometimes it's not smooth between the menus...
