Hi,
I need to use corporate Email with Mobile @work, and it seems that the Mobile @ Work needs the Knox application installed.
Every custom Rom i saw is Deknoxed and Knox free, so i did not be able to register with the Mobile @work app.
IS there any custom rom for N9005 that has knox applications, and how can i add knox applications to custom Rom like Darklord RCOM N5.
Thanks for the help.
Any one can help here ?

The forums list all roms with a description read them and you may find what you want .
Hi,
I have searched the forum and all the Custom ROMs for N9005 are Knox free.
Is there a way to flash the Knox Apps (Workspace) in customs ROM ?
Is there a way to compile custom ROM with Knox Apps ?
Any one has experience this Problem with missing the Knox Apps when trying to Register for Corporate Email with Mobile @ Work ?
Thanks
Simple answer, if you need Knox, DON'T tinker around with the system! As soon as your Knox bit is set, it's too late to discuss about working Knox, because after that it WILL NOT work anymore! NEVER AGAIN! I use my phone @ work, too, but we use VPN and no strange Samsung pseudo Standards. Problem solved

Hi,
I am trying to understand what are the issues with knox, and it got fixed by the hackers? I raed lots about it in XDA main news page and in the relevant posts but still confused......
I read a lot that Developers don't like Knox.
But I also read and found out that Devices with Knox can be rooted, and from what I understood was that the only issue is - that the counter get 1 so the company can see you rooted your device and then no warranty.
Second thing was that Knox devices cannot downgrade their rom? is it true? what will happen when I will try to flash via odin a lower version?
3. Custom roms - so if a adevice has a knox, it cannot get a custom rom?
Thanks!
Hi!
First time posting on this forum, after installing like 40 custom roms from this site.
I have a question, with the current Knox issue, I would like to know if its ''worth it'' to install the stock google edition rom. I have in the past, as noted before, flashed ALOT of custom firmware's on my old Galaxy S1. Although I didnt care much about warranty issues back then, I do know. And the Knox flag is not making things much easier for me as I cant hide the fact that I flash custom firmware.
So, is the google edition all that good for the S4, and might it be possible that in the future, you can install custom firmware without tripping knox 0x1?
Thanks in advance
Hello everyone. ive been searching these forums for quite a while and can safely conclude that theres no way for me (ATM) to root my note 3 without tripping knox.
i have a N9005 running the NC2 firmware, on 4.4.2
now i want to know is, if i flash a custom recovery and firmware ONLY, without flashing a custom ROM, can i still use KNOX (the app) ?
all i really want is root access, im quite happy with the ROM and performance ATM.
very sorry if this has been asked already, i couldnt find anything about it
thanks everyone

Any attempt to modify/temper the phone should render the Knox invalid thus Knox 0x1 as a flag that no Knox security warranty can be established on such devices.
Rooting is considered an attempt to modify the system.
So simple answer is No....
You root you can't use Knox app...
Hi
Hope all the devs are doing great & busy doing their projects for our phone grand 2 ,,
A small request from my end to all the devs to just spend a little time from their busy schedules to find a working way to root our phones grand 2 nj2 firmware without triggering the knox counter in the download mode ....
i had done some research in the note 3 forum of xda found some apps like safetrap & some other solutions which helps us to install custom recovery +custom roms without triggering the knox counter in the download mode ...i request all the devs from different places of the world to share their views on this topic.....
as today or some other day u all are going to get the update on your phone with preinstalled knox in your firmwares... until now its only in the Indian firmware nj2....
Hope all the devs will get united & find a workable way to pass through this hurdle.....

As of now, the flag has been reset, but only on the Exynos Note 3.
To bypass the flag, either avoid NJ2 or downgrade to NH6 (dangerous).
Hi,
My cousin owns a Galaxy s4 i9505 LTE and he wanted to root it. Since i was using custom rom on my S3 i9300, He asked me to root his phone and i told him that the knox security will mess things up. Anyway i rooted it with CF Autoroot and root was successful but the phone started restaring periodically and he wanted me to restore it back to stock rom (Unroot). He bought it from UAE and the build version was I9505XXUGNH8. Since we didn't find any firmware for UAE from sammy site, he searched the google and found a link (samfirmware) and downloaded the firmware. Then i flashed it via odin. All is good.
Now he want to root it again but the SElinux status says Enforced. Tried towel root, kingoroot and other stuffs.. No hope. The Knox says 0x0 and knox void is 0x1. Android version is 4.4.2. please help me to root this phone.
Thanks in advance...
Use cf auto root. It's the only root method that works.
Afterwards make sure to delete everything knox related. There are plenty of guides out here that tell what to delete.
Thanks for the help.. and if you don't mind, can you please tell me where to find those threads about deleting knoz files and what should i do to get a custom recovery in i9505?????
