I just got my nexus 6p. I turned it off and back on and now it's stuck at the "spinning circles" phase. I tried wipe the cache partition but, it didn't help.
any suggestions?
thanks.

I was able to restore phone via Skipsoft Toolkit. That tool is a lifesaver.

Flash back to Official Stock firmware by PC Odin.
By the way:
This is Development section.
Might try clearing cache or a factory reset otherwise, check here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28481954&postcount=1

Thanks a bunch but I've downloaded and tried to flash these files and the problem is once the flash process reaches the completion of the install the device will auto reboot and again stop at the boot flash screen.
Even when I try to clear data and factory reset it immediately reboots and stuck again. I hope Samsung has a way to override everything and reinstall the stock firmware.
This isn't my first android root but I'm stuck. I followed the video for rooting my Nexus 10. Got stuck in a boot loop but was able to flash cwm but still in boot loop. I tried doing the factory reset and now cwm is gone too and still stuck in boot loop. Do I need to reflash the stock recovery and if so where do I find that to download?
flash tbe cwm recovery again via fastboot, transfer your custom rom of choice from your desktop to your device, wipe data (factory reset), then flash that rom via cwm. btw, this is a galaxy nexus forums

and the recovery flashed fine? did you "fastboot devices" to make sure fastboot can see your device? sometimes these recoveries need to ne flashed a few times before they take. try flashing it two or three times in a rom. did you try twrp recovery? you might like that recovery better.
op, rename/delete /system/recovery-from-boot.p and reflash your custom recovery;
RANT: GOD DAMN IT, WHERE'S MY NEXUS 10!!!??? BEEN WAITING FOR 2 GODAMN MONTHS! - Sorry, it's just that I've been going through some **** to get my hands on one - AND THERE'S PEOPLE WHO'S GOT 2!!!
FOLLOWUP:
I ran MSkip toolkit and it repaired everything. I got a failed on renaming my recovery images so my stock recovery images are just gone I guess? Anyway I'm good. Rooted and repaired thanks to Skips toolkit.
Thanks for all the help!

It appears to be flashing fine and yes it sees my device. I tried multiple reflashing this am and still no joy.
I reposted in the right place and got some help but not done yet. I think mod might delete this thread since I have the other one going.

So I recently installed cynaogenmod 10.2 and now my phone won't boot into recovery. I was going to install gapps because I forgot to when I installed the rom. I do the correct sequence of buttons and then it shows recovery booting but then it vibrates and boots normally. I have no idea what's going on so any help would be appreciated.
Edit: Now it looks like it won't boot at all. I think I'll just let it sit for a bit.
Edit: Can I please have some help? I tried flashing a stock Odin firmware and now my phone won't boot past the AT&T logo.
Since using Odin, have you booted into stock recovery and done a factory and cache wipe?

Yeah I did that thanks, I hadn't thought that there was a "stock" recovery to do that with. I did it and now it works fine. I was still wondering why my phone wouldn't allow me to boot into recovery when I had 4.3 installed.
My nexus 6p has gone into a bootloop at random. I didn't flash or do anything. Its unlocked and rooted running cataclysm rom 6.0.1. Suddenly it started bootlooping but i can access the bootloader. Recovery is not accessible it just bootloops. So I tried flashing factory image from skipsoft toolkit and also by myself from command prompt. But still unfortunately it is bootlooping except in bootloader mode. Can anyone please help me?
After flashing the factory images did you leave it stock? And it's still looping while on fully stock firmware?

When you flashed manually did you flash every image? Have you flashed or formatted userdata?

Yes i flashed bootloader and radio first while rebooting bootloader after each of them. Then i erased system recovery boot vendor userdata. Then i flashed each one of them and rebooted. I also tried two different factory images just to be sure the mtc19t and mtc19x.

I'm not sure then, you might be dealing with a hardware failure.

Also once after flashing I had selected the factory option in the bootloader menu hoping it means factory data reset. Does that have anything to do with this?

Well, I figured the same. Anyways thanks buddy. I'll check with google now.
So I was trying to wipe dalvik/cache via Twrp, I accidentally did a factory reset instead. After going through the prompt process of resetting up the phone, I rebooted into twrp and restored my most recent backup. No, no matter what I try the phone wont go past the circular boot screen. How can I get past this

So I flashed the latest 9.0.12 software, and the phone booted. It seems all I need to do is reflash twrp and Magisk and I should be good. Thanks for your input, I appreciate the input.
