hi guys
i want to know which one of these to buy INSTEAD of my Note 3 Exynos
(i mean which is better than my Note 3)
Nexus 5
Xperia Z1
Xperia Z Ultra
LG G2
Note 10.1 2014
LG G Flex
You should buy : Note 3 Snapdragon, Nexus 5, HTC one, HTC one Max, HTC Butterfly S, Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra, LG G2, Note 10.1 2014, LG G Flex and maybe an iPhone.

You should get the HTC HD2
I had HD2 . Too slow phone on android. I really like the design of nexus 5 and G2. But I love ZU large screen

You've pretty much just answered your own question. If you want Vanilla Android get a Nexus.

+1 Grab the Nexus 5. I myself prefer that AOSP look over anything else.

My next device will be a sony. They are so good with development on Android. I would get a nexus after my note but going down in screen size isn't gonna happen.
I should have gotten that ultra haha. I don't use my camera for flash anyways
dont forget the thanks button if I helped out!!
But I worked with G2 , such a comfortable phone. Nexus camera is poor! But the design is perfect. Z Ultra is the biggest and lovely. But I have xperia sola and t and SP , they have poor quality on screen and camera. I really dont know
Btw the cm is for all phones right now exept my f**cking Note 3 exynos

This has nothing to do with this forum at all, this forum is here to ask questions and get help with the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
Asking what you would buy instead of the Note 3 Exynos doesn't excuse the thread.
Thank you.
so i have some good news and some bad news
the good news note 10.1 2012 will receive lollipop
the bad news note 8.0 will not according to Samsung UK

Oh I thought you ment art (Android) well for writing and art (Mac) is good but for tablet (ipad) I can't tell. I'd go for Windows on that one. Much more convenient and more apps can be used. And you don't have to worry about any damn can't install outside app store. Bullocks stuff is what it is.
But I can't really recommend any good Windows tablet though. that you'll have to look for what suites you.
Best of luck with your art and writing

lollipop will be released for note 2 , mega , note 10.1 as well but in specific regions
Well i admire your optimism, but still there is no official statement from samsung so there is no lollipop for our devices yet.

Device specific updates from 4.0 to 4.1 for specific countries are never ever'going to happen.
A 4.4.1 to 4.4.4 might be country specific but not rather a complete os update. That be unfair foo

Not the 2012 version of the note 10.1. This tablet is ancient and Samsung is more concerned with making money then keeping its loyal customers happy.
They still haven't released kitkat for the N8013! The day it gets lollipop is released for the N8013 is the day Pigs Fly. :silly:
No lollipop update for Note 10.1 2012.

It's a good phone. And it doesn't require rooting to be a good phone. It's good right out of the box.

well it doesnt require rooting , but i want that available , i want unocked (carrier) , unlocked (boot loader) fully customizable , no bloat from carrier or manufacturer , usually only buy these kinds of phones , i know the nexus 6p is and same with the pure and 1+1 always has been , when did they release the 6 p in the states? i shouldnt have any problem with straight talk ? its ported to att
You might consider OnePlus Three (Coming soon).
Nope bought a 6p ill know in a couple days whether its the real deal or not

I have got a OPO and you will definitely get a better experience with 6p..Also the reason for getting 6p, You wasted enough time to post on xda to ask for reason instead of thinking one yourself

so I've been reading that people with the v10 couldn't pair the gear s2. this sucks. i just got a refurbished one for 100 bucks that I've been loving and wearing over my Moto 360 2nd gen because frankly it's just better than Android wear... and now I'm coming to learn that Samsung doesn't have the v10 or even g5 listed as compatible devices and v10 owners had huge issues with it. this sucks. anyone else disappointed by this?

You two might be right. They USED to only work on Samsung devices. I just did a little research and found the "device compatibility" list on Samsung's site, and there were tons of other devices listed other than Samsung ones.

Which is why I agreed with you and just elaborated on my findings.
edit: and admitted I was wrong.
As for OP, the Samsung list of compatible devices says "Subject to change," so after the V20 comes out in the US, they may add it to the list. HOWEVER, the list is most likely out of date now, because only the G Flex, OPTIMUS G, G2, G3, G4, G Vista, and Nexus 5 are listed. No G Vista 2, G5, or even V10. Unless they just aren't compatible or something.
I don't really know now, so I have to step back and hope you get an answer from someone else. I mean... up until tonight, I thought the Gears could still only work with Samsung devices only. I thought that was the answer, but obviously not. LOL
yeah this sucks. i really like it more than my moto 360 with android wear..it just does things much better, especially replies, and now that android wear 2.0 won't even be out until next year, it's getting kinda ridiculous and annoying.
we'll see what happens i guess. ugh!

back to the topic, I love my S2 Classic, and will probably buy a S3 on launch. However I have only paired it with a Samsung. I am interested in seeing how it works with a non-Samsung Android phone. I previously had Pebble, LG's watc, Moto 360, Pebble Time, Samsung Gear 2, and Gear 2 Neo.
The S2 Classic is by far the best. I currently have it with a Samsung S7 Edge. My S7 Edge still works fine, but I find myself wanting a LG V20.

2014 Flagships do not get an Android N update. So no, Galaxy Note4 will not get a nougat update. Devices such as the Galaxy Note 5, S6 Edge, S7 and so on get nougat. The S5, Alpha, Note 4 and co. not.
Oh come on! Note 4 has powerful enough processor and ram to handle the Android
