[Q] Huawei U8800 Pro 2.2 to other

Hello, I have a Huawei U8800 Pro phone with 2.2.2 android version (is very old and can't do anything nice with my phone, because new apps requires newest version of android like 4+).
So, I want to upgrade my version to 4.0.3 or other 4+ without mistakes. I read a lot of threads already here, but I scared to do a mistake, so I always prefer better ask people with experience what to do.
Okay, my question is: can I jump from 2.2.2 to 4+ android version or I need to upgrade first to 2.3 and etc? My phone is rooted already, so I have all super permissions.
I don't have a lot of experience in this, so I waiting for anwers with links to thread what I need to do first step-by-step.

Alcatel OneTouch Idol X

Hello XDA,
I have absolutely no clue what i'm doing because i'm not a huge poster on forums. I recently bought an Alcatel OneTouch Idol X and after flashing MIUI v5 to it, it's not recognizing my sim card. I think the problem is that the rom was meant of the dual-sim model of this device. Anyway, my question is, does anyone know where I can get a copy of the stock Bell Mobility (Canada) rom for this phone. The model number is Alcatel OneTouch 6040A. Sorry in advance if I put this in the completely wrong section, like I said, I'm new.

flyme and xperia ports - jo-san has left

-Anyone knows where can i find new/updated xperia and flyme ports? got the link to pixle and yusef117 for flyme os but i ran into problems..i just want an alternative to miui..but since i am not developer and cannot make it myself..can you help me find them?

I`ve just ordered Leeco Le Pro 3 Elite (X722) and now I`m just wondering about one thing. Will there be custom roms available in the future? I know that there is no shared source code, but maybe someone knows something more

I guess the lake of source makes it really hard...
One advice though, given all the current topics about users who have bricked their x722 by trying to flash the official stock 026s rom, I recommend not to do it and staying with whatever rom your phone comes with.

Ugh... So we can only hope that they will share this code in a future.
BTW - is there any way to contact with Leeco team that who is responsible for the X722?

Model Z012DC Brazil

Hi there! I have an Asus Zenfone 3 5.5, which here in Brazil is the model Z012DC. I'm looking for a way to root it and also for a ROM which doesn't come with gapps. I've seen the thread called "Canadian Thread", but it didn't help at all. Do you guys know some way to do it? I wish some kind of LineageOS or some old CyanogenMod ROM, but really didn't find much.
