I have this problem on my edge+ when i lock my phone and try to unlock it with fingerprint, i always need to swipe the lock icon before the fingerprint shows. Is this normal? How to remove it?

Hey. Do you use 3rd part lockscreen app? Maybe launcher includes. I remember an option like 'Directly go unlock screen' in a launcher's lockscreen opts. Good luck.
I only have gravitybox but i didn't touch the lockscreen option, i think.. heres the picture.

I have disabled those... but it still crashes :/
Do a simple thing , take a back-up of your phone (most importantly the contacts & messages) & then factory reset it....This problem will vanish....!!

Did you use Wanam Xpose - Center clock at Status bar?
If yes, turn back to original right side. The center clock no longer work since MJ6 firmware.

I use Wanam Xposed but not the center clock mod.
hmm. I'm still on MJ1.
This has been bothering me for days now and I'm not sure if it's some s6 setting or maybe my Nova launcher deciding to do this nonsense, but I need to disable it.
Pulling down the notification bar from the right most side of the phone just brings up the power menu.
I really need a way to take this setting off and just can't find it anywhere in my phone.
I'm on the Audax Rom but I just figured it's probably not a Rom setting and it's part of the standard settings or Nova Launcher maybe.
Thanks for the help much much appreciated.
I've used the samsung launcher and nova and neither of them do that so it's likely rom specific.
I use Audax/Nova and can't reproduce your problem. Do you use Xposed?

I can't see any options in my Xposed modules that would cause this behavior.
It's really annoying because when I want to use multi window and resize a window, you drag from this corner, and I also get my power menu, everytime.
Here are my modules in Xposed.

Disabled all modules, and this keeps happening.
Also, tapping the clock in top right, turns the screen off.
Hello guys, i am using the eragon custom rom and i dont see connection type(3g/4g) at the statusbar next to the sigba strenght icon. I searched in the setting but haven't found anything. Also tried flashing a zip file for nobig-E/3G/4G from this thread but nothing happened

Are you talking about data indicators or the big E/3G/4G symbols come alongside the network bar in mtk default roms?

I have no idea why it is on. I don't use android pay. How do I shut it off? Anyone know why it is on? Anything to do with Android wear 2?
Drop down menu from the top, NFC switch should be there

I have many homescreen screen shots to verify it was never on before today or at least the icon was never there.

You must of accidentally turned it on then.
I leave it on as I have NFC stickers to automate tasks. You can hide status bar icons with System UI Tuner from the Play Store after using a few adb commands.
Hello
I was looking for the customizable Google Search widget update when I first heard the news about it.
I have realized that I am now using much more recent version of the same. .
But I still could not get the overflow menu in the widget to customize it.
Did anyone got luck with that?
I am in the Google app beta and have it

Am i using incompatible version ?
I am not getting the overflow menu.
It seems to be tied to the main account on a phone. I just set up my partner's new S8 and the custom option appeared. Not on my S8 or G6. I don't think it's phone specific, but rather tied to an account that has it activated. Very frustrating.
