It is my first post, and I don't understand to much as people here. I write because I have a problem with my Gionee. My phone was root and with 4.4.2 oficial kit kat ROM (upgrade by recovery). I could have mismanipulated the phone and when I switch it on it appears an error (com.android.systemui), and can't boot. I can't use recovery mode and I tried to do a reset by fast boot, but the phone is not recognised by de computer.
I've tried to repair it using GNQC too, but it appears this message : "The phone ver is different from SW ver". And If I try the emergency download It appear some fails related with "COM port" .
I spent almost all my money in this phone and I'm too worried. Anyone can help me?

I used w w w droidsavvy.com/unbrick-qualcomm-mobiles/ and followed the steps there but for the life i me i cannot get past this step of dl using qfil. I am hoping someone on the boards can give me some idea i spent a week trying to find a way to get past this step and all i find is others stuck on same step with no solution.
Here is the log file of the process. Using Win 7 pro. I got the latest drivers for qfil installed and it finds the phone and asigns the port ok. I just cant download the protocol

I had the same issue when i first bricked my x800 and the problem was that the bootloader was locked somehow. I unlocked then everything went smooth. I don't know if this is the issue here with you.
how do i unlock the bootloader?
from what i can find to unlock bootloaded you need to install stuff onto the phone, atm i cant do that.

You do it trough adb and fastboot. You don't have to install anything onto the phone. Just put the phone in fastboot mode, then connect to adb and write : fastboot oem unlock

when the phone is bricked there is no such thing as fastboot..
the program didn't fuction but managed to install drivers that enabled to qfil to go further in the process but still failed..

i did it ! yeah
install the drivers that come with that program
go to the folder that has the rom, click on its properties- permissions and select full acess
while with qfil open, hold the volume down on the smarthphone and connect it to the pc.only release the volume- when you hear 3 windows sounds(one sound when you connect and two after 15 seconds) . start download and then you are set.
after this process your phone will be alive, but will have only 10gb so you have to follow the process in page 3 of topic "hard brick fix"

Hi guys. I have this problem with my lenovo phab pb1 750m. My phon is hard bricked and dead . Each time i try to flash it using qfil i get error massage saying : sahara fail, unable to download flash programmer using sahara protocol
Does anybody know what is this sahara protocol and how to fix it. I want to know is my phone fixable in this state or not. And by the way how unlocking bootloader is done?. Please help me

Same problem with Leeco x820
Hi guys, I've got the same problem when I try to unbrick my Motorola moto e4, help me please!
soft bricked the phone (on android 5.0) while trying to root it, when I tried to flash it via odin, I kept on getting a failed message after NAND Write.
after some searching, I realized the reactivation lock was on before I bricked it. I can get into download mode, but not the recovery. it gives a message "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
is there anyway to revive it?
What is the error message or log from Odin?
You can still flash the phone with Odin even on the "firmware upgrade encountered an error" message.
Have you tried using different USB cables or USB ports? I recommend using the USB 2.0 ports if possible.
The error message is something like
"Nand write"
"Failed".
Already tried 3 different cables and two different computers. Based on my research, it looks has to be related to reactivation lock.
Hello I tried installing a new firmware onto my s8 and while doing that I got the error md5 error invalid binary.
So I removed the md5. at the end of the file and then started it again leaving my phone witht he message "an error has occured while updating the device software"
When opening up smart switch It says that my device is unsupported.
When i try to go into donwload mode i get the same screen with an error occured while updating the device
So am I left with a piece of paper at the end?
Edit: just fixed it by loading the bootloader

When trying to flash TWRP, the cable disconnected and the device (Galaxy Tab A SM-T510) shows this error : "An Error Occurred While Updating The Device Software"
Samsung SmartSwitch doesn't seem to work on PC and Mac OS.
FRP Hijacker doesn't show the SM-T510 device in the list.
What can I do to undo the soft brick ?
