A few weeks ago "Drizzy" sent a link to a few people about a contest regarding motorola/tmobile and winning a MotoCliq. The link was only supposed to be for employees but I googled for the link and found it, did the quizzes, and now 2 weeks later i got an email saying i won a cliq and that it should be in the mail in a few days. Anyone else do this, or are any others here tmob employees that did the quizzes and won?
Sounds like a scam or fake to me. But wait a few days and see if you get it.

i was thinking it was also. but i called a buddy that actually works for tmobile, he said he won as well last week and got his in the mail earlier this week. hmmmm im hoping it was real.

How did you get a valid P-Number?
I was told to just make one up, so I did. I was going to ask ppl that worked for tmob for theirs, but I was in a hurry. It never stopped me in the process so I just kept going. Maybe I got lucky and chose a correct one?

i picked the one closest to me, but I had to pick one that was an actual "corporate store" not an authorized seller. So Wally World, Best Buy, and Places like CellularOne, or CellBiz, or OneStopCell (i am making up names) dont count as tmob stores.

I think that I did it about 2 or 3 weeks ago as well.
Where did you get the store number? Did you just call the store and ask?
i just googled for tmobile stores, went to the site, searched for my zip code. after the store name there is a number, that is the store number i typed in...

You dont find it sketchy that you BOTH won phones? lol What are the odds of that
tmobile is the one that hosted the contest. they gave away something like 250 phones per week. for a 4 week contest.
I did it and didnt win anything. It would seem very plausible that tmobile would want to get this phone into the hands of as many employees as possible so they have one and you want one when you walk up. Either way, it you get a phone you know its legit!

im gonna go ahead and say its pretty legit. i just got my UPS shipment confirmation email. should be here at my house in 3 to 4 days (so monday or tuesday)

I think different dates are scheduled for different areas of the country.
I live in North Carolina and Verizon expects our shipment for online orders by the 29th of May.

It's a canned response. I called Verizon about it - I ordered my phone on the 9th and it never came. lol
If you were to order it today you should see it shipped out by 6/4 according to the detailed specs of the phone. 6/1 if you just look at the Verizon line-up of phones.
It's all confusing. Verizon really should do a better job when launching a new phone!

Customer service told me it was no issue to overnight me one so I went ahead and sold mine. When I called asking where my phone was they apologized and said they meant to say it was backordered. I learned this the looooooong and hard way. I've spent literally hours on the phone with them and was supposed to receive 3 seperate calls from supervisors bc of how many times they screwed up yet they only called back once. They also told me it was $269 w/ a 1 yr contract, then processed the order and then texted me saying it was $369 w/ a Mail in Rebate. When I called back saying that's not what I was originally told- they told me in a condescending voice 'I can cancel the order if you would like and try to come to a resolve on your issue, but it will extend the wait time of shipping your phone'. What choice do I have but to suck it up bc I NEED this phone for work?? hahaha I just have to laugh at how much it sucks at this point

Man, I just ordered mine yesterday online and it arrived today (free overnight shipping) ...Phew, that was close!
i had called up 3 different sprint stores and this is what i was told
store 1: sold out, will get new shipment either friday or tuesday
store 2: sold out, taking deposit to reserve one (45 people already on list)
store 3: had few in stock (Silver Spring, MD)

Here in Ohio no better, Went to best buy with my buddy, was quoted as Evo shippment tomorrow and now it's been moved to a nice lovely ambiguous "sometime from wednesday to friday" Here's hoping sooner rather than later but oh well. Here's hoping we can survive the great evo shortage of 2010! (*side note* kinda regretting not pre-ordering sooner, I was 8 people into the 2nd batch forcing me to wait an extra week. BAH!)
its good news, i just wished they had more accessories on launch day!
Decided to give in and pick one of these up yesterday. Couldnt find one in stock anywhere. This morning I was prepared to call every Radio Shack in the area. The 1st one I called said someone just took themselves off the list and that they had one available. I put my name on it, and picked it up 20 minutes later.
I have 2 friends that got theirs this same way. I did pre order one for my girlfriend though while I was there and she will be getting it on Friday.
I just got mine today and I had to call 8 or so sprint stores to find one in stock, ends up the store I got mine at had 10 in stock still from the first shipment and they had given a lot of their first order of 300 to other area stores. Once I got there it took them about 2 and a half hours to activate the flippin thing, my voice and 4g connected but my 3g never came up, took them forever to sort it out. They actually had to activate two evos to figure the problem out. I got 2 boxes and goodies out of the deal though, I am in the kc area too.
Which Sprint store was this? Im also in the KC area and have a few friends wondering if anyone has them in stock. Sounds like that store may be worth a shot.

i ordered mine online last night at 11pm central time and it was available waiting for it to come now ughhhh!!!!! all i have been doing is making lists of apps and what i want to try (been a windows mobile guy since the tilt days currently have a HTC Touch Pro 2 unlocked gotta sell that once my EVO comes in cant wait
Which Sprint store was this? Im also in the KC area and have a few friends wondering if anyone has them in stock. Sounds like that store may be worth a shot.

I scooped mine up from the studio Sprint store, downtown in the power and light district, like 14th and grand, also I got a call from the Sprint store that I was on a waiting list at and they had one for me, i was number 15 I believe.

I was going to order it online last night and then dumb me second guessed myself and decided to see if i could get lucky in a store today. Now I realize that was a very stupid idea.
how are some of you getting overnight delivery; i placed my order around 12pm PST yesterday and i still haven't received a delivery notification or any updates; it still says waiting in the warehouse for processing; this is annoying me since it's supposed to be overnight delivery
So, I was unsuccessful getting the Transformer from Amazon/Best Buy in the 3 minutes it was available online.
I went and "preordered" it at JR Music just in case (shipping was cheap, no tax for me since I'm in California) as a backup if I don't ever get one in store anywhere else.
Fry's online in-store check is actually pretty ok.
I kept checking every day. I'm in Southern California. I would see Anaheim have 1, then hours later, none, then City of Industry have one. Etc..etc.. First time I saw this was Tuesday night, I called and they "confirmed" they didn't have any.
Anyways starting Wednesday, whenever I see the Transformer "available" at a store, I went and ordered it for in store pickup (they don't ship from stores). You are required to put a credit card, but it's not charged.
Within minutes I'd get an email the Transformer IS NOT AVAILABLE.
Fast forward to today (Saturday 4/30) around 1am I check online and I see a different store (San Diego) has it in stock, this is the first time I seen the website show San Diego.
I go ahead and order it.
Come 9am I get an email saying my order is READY FOR PICKUP!
I go ahead and call them to make sure it is available and ON HOLD for ME, since I'm driving 2 HOURS to get to San Diego Fry's!!! Called up, she said she got 4 in that day and one is definitely set aside for my online order.
Get there around 1pm, went to register, and got it. I asked the lady if there were any extras and if there are if I could buy 1-2 more (1 for friend, 1 to sell). She came back and said no, all gone.
Anyways I'm happy. Ordered the official Sleeve from Newegg and it'll be a 1 day ship too (they're close by). Can't wait to buy the keyboard now!
There you have it. If you guys have a Fry's near by, keep checking their website for in-store availability. If you see it available, PLACE THE ORDER (I placed a total of 6 different orders). If it's not available, your order is cancelled. If it's available, you'll get notification for pick up! Hurry and get it otherwise they will cancel it. When you get there, you can pay however you like, don't have to use the CC you used for the online order.
The website doesn't always tell the truth. My store showed ZERO, but then I called, and they had 3. I had someone put it on hold for me. I'd call, or just go by, don't rely on the website!

Yeah I know, website is slow to update.
But personally I hate calling Fry's so website is the only option
Why I love the iPhone
I too have had a rough time getting the tablet. I started out placing an order with Datavision. They literally have the worst CS ever! Anyway, it said they were in stock and I went to check out and then it was out of stock. I called them to ask what happened and he said "Don't worry about it, its sold out anyway"-Thanks man .
Anyway I canceled it within a couple days. I kept checking everywhere. Finally got on newegg and put the damn thing in my cart and next thing you know they wouldnt let me checkout cuz it was already gone! I was so upset. I gave up! So i went to work on Friday and I was already having a good day so i thought i would just check amazon anyway...turns out there was a guy selling his transformer for $426 shipped and it was in "like-new condition". I neglected my work for a good 10 minuts and I just ordered it immediately! I didnt care that my boss was watching me shop online (i gave them my two week notice anyway... so suck it!). I was so freakin happy!

I saw that too, it was "used for 5 hours". I saw he was a first time seller too so I didn't go for it. Then a few hours later when I went to check Amazon, it was gone (You probably tried to buy it) lol.
Anyways glad you got yours from him and didn't get ripped off!
I just checked my Frys and they have it in stock! Although it doesn't say how many units they have in stock.

It may or may not be really in stock.
My suggestion, ORDER IT and just wait for a yes or no. If you're lucky it's' a yes.
They're closed right now so you won't get an answer till morning.
Downers Grove Fry's
As of 09:30 this am - they had 2 Docks and 3 16 GB Tablets.
Spent an hour at the store as they tried to locate them.
On sales person said that they did not have them for sure - I showed them on their site that they show poisitive inventory - manager looked it up and sure enough - 4 tablets and 3 keyboard/docks.
Picked up 1 of each - presents for my daughter.

There are 2 of them in metro Atlanta.
I am one of the people that tried to buy a nexus 6 just 4(!) minutes after it was up for pre-order and found the dreaded "We are out of inventory. Please check back soon." message...
Since then, every so often I went on the play store and jumped from midnight blue to white from 32 to 64... A few times more as a nervous twitch waiting for the day I would find the message "Ships in 2 to 3 weeks"... I knew they restocked on Wednesday, nonetheless I tried...
All this for telling you guys that today after a few refresh the midnight blue became available... I couldn't believe it and stupidly I clicked on the white (as that's what I wanted) and found it out of stock.. I went back to blue and that one too was out of stock again! Darn it... After a few desperate refreshes however it became available again and I managed to snag it... So... I'm not sure what kind of game google is playing but I would just give it a try every day just refresh for 5 mins... You might "hit the lottery"!
The next lottery is when will it ship. Glad to hear your gettin one.
If you are content with 32gb pick one up at T-Mobile. I got one yesterday was out of there in less than 30 minutes

Well I called my local t-mobile and they told me that 1) they sold it but they had none in stock... 2) the phone was locked to them as far as they knew (I'm with at)... I didn't want to chance it and go through the hassle.. I just wanted an unbranded, unlocked version.. 32 GB was plenty for me.. My N5 is 32 and I've never gotten close to fill it up!

The phone is definitely not locked to them. But you have to be a tmo subscriber to purchase one. In other words you can't go in to buy one as an att customer without switching over

Even if you wanted it at full retail. It's always been this way. I'm sure there is some loophole. But they don't make money on hardware..... It's their service
I was just randomly checking yesterday and also got a midnight blue one in 32gb. I was hoping for white, but I cannot complain since I wanted this phone so badly (I'm on Verizon). The email I got said it leaves the warehouse on December 17th so still a little ways off, but I don't mind at all since I was finally able to order it!

Agreed. I found my Cloud White 64 on Monday November 3, in between Wednesdays.
I went to sprint to pay cash and they had a few in stock, he said they never sell any of the nexus 6 and always have a stock. He let me pay cash because i said it was a holiday gift .
