Pretty much any of the M ROMs available right now are as stable as any 5.1.1. Im getting 4 hours SOT in Cataclysm 27 Oct with Hellscore kernel and DT2W enabled, so without DT2W should get a bit more.

I've used both Minimal OS (M version) and Chroma (L and M versions). Both have worked great for me.

And about kernel, which is the best for Android M? i have the Chroma 18.9.15 version, and the reason i want to replace other rom is when the battery is near 30% suddenly there is no signal from the phone and he keep search and nothing happens, and when i do restart it boot a while and drain all the 30%....so i not sure if they fix this problem on Chromas new Android M version
Thanks

This problem is probably caused by your battery, I had the same one and solved it by replacing the battery

ok so i have been using the android port for many months now and have not found a single WM 6.5 rom and android that work perfect together creating speed and great battery life.....UNTIL NOW...i was surfing looking for a WM rom and i found a rom that does just that and works well with android.....i have been going on for 11hrs of use on my HD2 and the battery life is at 77%..with the current widget when i come back from standby im getting from 3-5 mA.....alot better then anything else i have used in the past...and im also running the radio 2.15.50.14....and hastarin 8.2.....the android im running is Mdeejay_FroYo_Sense_v._2.7_NextSense.......and the WM rom is (MultiMedia WP7 TMO 3.14 Super ROM Multi Channel TV Movies TCPMP WiFi Router XM)......You Can find the ROM here___ (http://www.mobileunderground.info/showthread.php?t=704&page=1)....the download link is at the bottom...... I DID NOT CREATE THESE JUST POSTING WHAT I HAVE FOUND AS AN EFFECTIVE COMBO.....
EDIT: Will Post Screen Shots Tonight of Quadrant Scores and Battery life to Prove It........
EDIT: This Link Takes U Straight to the download...but if u wanna know more about the rom go to the mobile underground and read up on it......http://www.filefactory.com/file/b3gd6h8/n/TMOUSA_SS_Tech1_HSDPA_HD2_3.14_Deluxe_MultiMedia_S uper_ROM.zip

Mattc's 1.8, hastarin 8.4 and ChuckyROM Lite give me also a standby drain of just 3-5mA, so there must be more combos, but I think no one will ever try everything
i cant even find a download link for the rom, that page is just pack!
FOUND!
i did try mattc's 1.8 with hastarin 7.7 stopped using mattc's after using Mdeejay's ports....will try it later and see how it goes.....
I'm using whats in my sig, and battery life seemed to have nothing to do with the windows ROM, just some fixes & tweaks for Android I came across in various threads to get 3ma in standby.
thats what i thought at first but it really does...i have read alot of these posts and it says that the wm rom doesnt make a difference....well i have run from the original stock rom to the new htc rom and chuckyrom to the one im currently running and im telling u there is a drastic difference.....

Screencast black screen?

Hi guys
I use screen cast a lot on my n4. And it worked fine. But on Friday I restored my stock backup and then did the ota to 4.2.2. Then I flashed the latest faux kernel beta.
This morning, I wanted to use screen cast so I started it, created my video for like 5 mins. When it saved, I watched it but it was just a black screen! You can still hear my voice though. I ticked these two settings in developer settings (in attached screeny) as it said to do on the gplay page but still no luck!
BTW, I was using PA 3.0 beforehand.
Any help? Any suggestions on what I can do?
Cheers

Anyone?
Same problem here with an AOKP Unofficial 4.2.2. Reflashed back to AOKP MR1 Build 3 (4.2.1) and it works again. So it looks like this is being caused by 4.2.2.
Well i got this fixed by going back to Paranoid Android (4.2.2) so i dont know whats causing it.

Strange. I experience the same problem on Paranoid Android 3.1
Despite writing to the Developers, they won't fix it or even acknowledge.
this is a shame, i wanted to stay on stock, but i will try to flash paranoid to see if i manage to get screencast to work.!
Screencast was found working on Slimbean. But not any other mainstream custom/stock 4.2.2 ROMs. Such a shame.
I don't think the developer of the App is to blame for this. This looks like a framework change in Android.
So any devs know why it broke?
Still not working? I get black screen while recording on my S4 ATT 4.2.2.
Any Solutions??? or ALTERNATIVE

Does that Rom support German too?
Only three languages are included: English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
ah ok.
Thats a bit sad. But hopefully we will get some Rls with many Languages
ROM runs pretty god it flows compared to original color ROM! No bugs ,fcs or lags also.

i cant download
One day in so far so good. My only comment is that I had to flash the 4.2 g-apps package on top of it as the Play Store was no where to be found. Battery life seems pretty good.

This seems to a sync/update problem with google frameworks, however after a second reboot it seems to initialize correctly.
Thanks for your work.
My findings:
- I have trouble making app-folders on any homescreen.
- when moving the existing app-folder (tools) to any homescreen, it does not succeed.
Otherwise...good and fast.
Hi. Can someone please mirror the download.
Thanks
Thanks works very well.
thank, good work :good:
And you dont using any custom kernel for this ?

me too. cellular network using more power.
This Color Rom version is very smooth and working good on every functions that all I need .
But only one thing Battery life not good enough for me (cellular network & Stand by Process drains a lot Battery).
Kernel may be causing problems I guess.
Updated to ColorOS 4.2 [130808 Stable]
it now uses a custom kernel based on maxwen kernel, should reduce battery consumption.
I have a charging problem with the 4.2 [130808 Stable] update.
My charger was not detected.
Charging with the usb port from pc is ok also another carger works?

I have the same issue... Maybe it's just a false report, like with Bluetooth before ( it was saying that bluetooth take like 7% of battery and was keeping the device awake while in fact it was not)
I'm on stock kitkat 4.4.2 20D EUR open with cloudyfa kernel (I have a custom recovery and KnockCode doesn't work with KK stock kernel)

Download wakelock detector from the play store. You will have to root your phone for the app to work properly.
Let it run for a day then post the results of the app on here and I can tell you what's causing this issue.

Keep or Lose MF9?

HI all,
I'm looking to flash my phone with a newer ROM. I'm currently on one I installed quite a while ago. I'm now a bit confused on which ROMs I can and can't use.
My phone is MF9 according to what I've been able to locate in the about settings and phone info programs. I keep seeing stuff about OD2, but I'm not really sure what that means for me. Also, isn't there something about updating and it doing something to the boot loader?
Do I need to update to OD2 to use newer ROMs?
Will it lock my boot loader and what will that do to my ability to change ROMs later?
Lastly, and I know it's a matter of personal preference, what ROM would you recommend? I'm just looking for something stable. Though good battery life and fast would be nice too.
Thanks,
-Jeff
OD2 didn't lock my bootloader. The updated bootloader actually means you'll be free to use more recent custom ROMs.
As for ROM recommendation, usually it should be a no-brainer for me to give CM, but CM on this phone drains battery a bit too fast, so I'll hold back on that.

[WARNING: XDA Premium 4.0.13+ lacks Signature function - do not update]
Thanks Andy,
So, if I do an Odin update to OD2, I should still be safe on my phone? That takes a load off my mind.
I did CM back on my Nexus S4G years before I got this phone. It wasn't bad. The battery life thing is a deal breaker though. Now that I know I can safely update without screwing things up too much I'll play around with a few. My main thing is to update my wife's phone so that she doesn't have problems. She always insists on matching phones so I can help her with stuff LOL
-Jeff
Only AT&T and Verizon lock bootloaders, you could try my ROM, Wicked X, in the Android Development section. Very stable and battery friendly.
