LTE Band Locking - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshoot

Hi guys,
I have a rooted SPH-L720 on NG2, and I am having the hardest time trying to find a way to lock it to a specific band. Instead of having it prefer band 25 (1900), I want it to prefer (or only connect to, either way works) band 26 (850). Anybody know of a way to do this? Or will I just have to upgrade to the S5 and follow these instructions (forums(dot)androidcentral(dot)com/samsung-galaxy-s5/380905-sprint-users-lte-manual-override.html)?
Thanks!

Enabling the 2600 Mhz band 7 on GPe S4

I posted this message in the Q&A section but it doesn't seem like anyone knew the answer to it.
So on the GPe S4 I know it doesn't have band 7 or 2600 Mhz band. Seeing how this band is used for LTE-MAX, I'm trying to find information on how to add this band onto the phone. I figured the steps would be similiar, if not the same, as adding the AWS band onto the phone with the exception to the file used to flash the modem which would contain information regarding band 7 as opposed to the AWS band.
Maybe I didn't search correctly but, are there guides/ files out there that can enable this band?

I'm trying to get through the steps. You need to start with a radio that has some level of LTE support.

LTE Bands not shown correctly?

Hello
I got an S5 klte with lineage os 16 official.
I had the feeling that the 4G reception is worse than stock rom, especially in rooms.
So I installed the app "LTE Discovery" and noticed, that it always stays on LTE Band 1.
With other Devices the Band switches between 20, 7, 3 and 1.
I already installed newest Modem and Bootloader and did a clean install.
Is that a bug in Lineage?
Any ideas how to improve reception?
Thanks in advance
I noticed, that the Bands are shown correctly, when I use the app "Cellular-Pro" with root access allowed.
Then it switches between Bands 1,3,7 and 20 like its supposed to do.
When I use it without root, it only shows Band 1 again.
So I think the modem works like it should, but lineage doesn't display it correctly without root access.
