I love my Moto X but I'm also very excited about the future of Motorola and their flagship phones. What are some things you'd like to see in the 2014 Moto superphone?

All I want is a bigger battery. Moto X battery is the best I've seen so far and having even more would be perfect.
I came from a Galaxy S4 with 2600mAh of battery and I never got past 3h screen time whereas on the Moto X (with 2100mAh) I got 5h in the first day.
As for the rest, Motorola proved that specs are nothing if you don't optimize the system. Bigger storage would be nice though.

My biggest beef with the Moto X
A top of the line camera and wireless charging would be nice.
But what I really expect is something new, that others don't have like active notification and touchless control. I hope Motorola comes up with something even better.

I wanna see them keep the same form factor. With a better screen, easier to unlock boot loader and even better battery life.
For me s 720p AMOLED screen is the perfect compromise for a mobile device

I don't care for specs. I would like better battery life, possibly removable. That's pretty much. MicroSD tray is a bonus. I'm a bit iffy on the placement of the mic. On the plus side, I do like where it's placed cause I'm assured regardless of case-choice or angle that the mic is close to my mouth. However when I can't help but feel that the opening leaves for weakness.
To you guys that want a bigger screen, have you tried LMT Launcher?

I use it on my gnex. I have the pie enabled on both left and right sides, activation length set to 688 and thickness set to 20. Pie gravity is set to top so that the activation area ends before it reaches the top of the keyboard in portrait mode.
I have found it to be extremely handy and have used it for almost 2 years. It gives you extra screen space by allowing you to disable the navigation bar, and it allows for easier one-handed use.

Agreed. I'd like a better, or at least more consistent, camera especially in low light situations. I've taken some nice pix with my X, but also some pretty crappy ones. Most of the time in low light its hit/miss as to what I'll get, even when taking two or three pictures in a row.
I would also like to see Moto Assist match all the features of Moto's smart actions, including more profiles and options to create your own.
While battery life on my X has been very good, Increasing its size or how long it lasts would always be a plus.
As others have suggested, I hope it can keep the same form factor. The X feels perfect in my hand. While some of the cases I've put it in make it feel a little bigger, it still feels great.
Movable Nav buttons like the G2 and three size settings for nav bar height to, 100%, 50% and 25%.
Maybe their next big thing should be software customization. Let you customize the colors, and theme of the os?

Agreed on a better low light camera. I love this phone but the quality of some photos are very average at times.
Even more software optimization, a REAL better camera, DEVELOPER FRIENDLY (easiest as sammy's devices), and wireless charging.
That's the only need of this amazing phone.

Can you elaborate more on 'developer friendly'? Unless you're on AT&T or Verizon, it's as easy as it gets to unlock the bootloader. The kernel source code is already available to us and it's been fun playing with it(although failing hard...lol).
Personally I'd prefer a 5 inch screen and an OMAP chip set. I am really hoping Google snatches up that division of TI in the worst way

Personally Id a bigger screen and the lastest GPU.
After having issues with the N5's very poor call quality as well as sending double texts to my recipients. 10 replacements later and I've decided to switch to a Moto X.
Specs wise, I wouldn't say it's an upgrade from the Nexus 5 but not a downgrade either.
The O/S is nice and clean with just a few useful features added by Motorola.
Absolutely loving the Active Notifications, Motorola Connect (text from my Chrome), Motorola Assist etc. They're so useful.
Best feature is the voice recognition. It's so accurate it's scary lol. Much more accurate than the Nexus 5.
Best of all, call quality is superb!
The screen is smaller but my thumb used to often struggle to reach certain parts of the Nexus 5 screen which I don't have to worry about any more. I think it's a good balance between size and comfort.
The speaker is miles louder than the one in my N5. Massive difference!!
The phone feels fluid as the N5.
There's only one area I've noticed any slowness so far. That's in restoring my 16000+ text messages using SMS Backup & Restore. It took a fair bit longer than my N5 did. Not a big deal though as only needed to do it once.
I've got a usable phone and some money in my pocket on top. Can't complain.
Oh that Motorola Migrate feature didn't work for me when I tried it. Only tried it once though.
Most of my stuff is in the cloud anyway.
I do miss the wireless charging though but it's a loss I was willing to take as the Moto X benefits far outweigh the need to move away from the N5.
There should not be any difference in voice recognition as both phones rely on Google for that. I haven't noticed any difference between the two. ( Moto X is slightly better at picking up voice in noisy environment from little more distance. That's about it. Might have something to do with microphone quality. But when nexus 5 is held close, they're is virtually no difference in accuracy)
But yeah, Other than more consistent camera on nexus 5 after the update, I would take Moto X over nexus 5 any given day. In fact I came from Nexus 5 to moto x. I never really had any of the voice quality issues on nexus 5 either but overall I like the feel of Moto X. And love the active notifications.

When friends and family see mine and my wife's phones (me n5 now, her moto x) and they ask if I recommend them, my advice is always the same.
Moto x if you just want a great and smooth phone.
N5 if they are techy and may want to mess with the phone.
Thats my standard advice. They are both great phones....but for the non techy, the moto x is definitely the best choice. ?

For the "everything on" people perhaps you are right....not miles though...but the x is probably a bit better.
But...I have both, and both get over 24 hours on a charge, and both can get over 6 hours screen time. With most things off of course. And greenified, and screen not too bright. I guess the x is slightly better on average for me...but only slightly. Oh...and I rarely use the "phone"....I'm a texter. ?
If set up for maximum battery life...both are excellent. But many want everything on....so they will lose more battery for sure. Much more.

I previously had a developer edition moto x one of the first on here to get one and then I bought into the nexus 5 hype and am back to a moto X. It is an all around better phone than the N5. No its ands or butts. Also to concur with the previous poster the voice recognition is better on the X because of the dedicated speech engine. The X has the perfect ergonomics just as fluid and fast, screen is actually better inho and the speaker is miles better. I get just as good pica from my X than the supposedly better n5. The only thing the N5 camera truly has on it is the OIS. Lastly motos extras are worth the price of admission all by themselves.

I love this feature too especially when at work as it stops me fiddling around with my phone which can make others around me think I'm never off it.
This way I can discreetly reply to contacts and keep tabs of phone calls

I compared the speaker quality with my partners HTC 8X (which comes with Beats Audio) and mine actually sounds like it has a slightly higher frequency making treble sound like it's going to pop out. Very clear! The volume is just as loud as hers.
I unwillingly came from a N5 by dropping it and shattering the screen. Had been eyeing the moto x for a bit and decided to pick a like-new condition used one for cheap. Boy am I glad that I did. On paper everyone knocks it, but in actuality it's probably the best android phone I have ever used out of the box. No stock experience is as good, and this is my 7th android phone since 2009. Voice recognition is better hands down because of the dedicated processor. Active display is by far one of the best features out of any android device today. Form factor is excellent (N5 was good but ever so slightly too big for me), voice quality is better (both on speaker and off).
Battery life on STOCK Moto X is as good as my N5 was when I was rooted, underclocking, undervolting, except I have everything turned on (location, auto brightness, touchless controls, active display, etc. etc.).
I just (unwillingly) landed a moto x after living the luxury of lg's g2, and sadly I am extremely let down.
I had high hopes for the moto x, and don't get me wrong, for the average user not wanting to spend much on a phone, the moto x is a great choice, and has a lot less manufacturer and carrier bloat than much of its competition, but stacked next to the g2 I feel like I'm being punished.
I won't go to much into screen size because a lot of that is user preference, but personally I always thought that phablet sized phone were too much (and still do). The g2 still felt natural even with its larger size, where I find the moto x uncomfortable.
The moto x stock camera is actually pretty nice. My g2 was running cyanogenmod and the camera was slow as hell, but still took good pictures, the moto x is much faster.
Battery life is upsetting on the moto x compared to the g2. My g2 could survive 2 days of heavy use with everything on and just start entering the 15% low battery range. The moto x hardly makes it through one day (with most of the carrier/manufacturer boat apps disabled).
The screen color and brightness on the moto x are annoyingly over saturated. The amoled obviously isn't doing the battery and favors, so I'm pretty sold on the true IPS offered in the g2 as superior for battery and for display performance (and in not taking about resolution difference).
The microphone for calls on the moto x hardly picks my voice up (no issues on the g2)
The rear speaker on the moto x is actually louder and more clear than the g2, so that's nice.
But then the last nail in the coffin for me was the headphone quality. The g2 without modification has roughly the same volume output as the moto x, but the audio quality on the moto x is a joke. To make matters worse, if you use an auxiliary input in your car and plug the phone into a car charger while paying music and then unplug the car charger mid song you'll hear a pretty ridiculous difference in audio quality. It's as if the phone refuses to put any effort into making audio sound decent unless it's charging. And no this isn't a grounding issue, it's actually the phone putting less power towards the audio output when it's not charging, and it really kills the sound unless it's plugged in.
Anyway, as soon as I'm able to jump ship I'm headed back to LG land and probably not going to visit MOTOville again for a LONG time.

in my opinion the Nexus 5 is much better than the Motorola X, a much faster and with 2 cores more, better gpu for gaming and graphics, better display quality and higher definition processor, I just think that the Motorola x is better in voice prompts and little gross ... but in comparison the Nexus 5 takes the cake ... the processor is noted and much, greetings

I also came from a 32gb nexus 5 to a 16gb moto x. And the n5 is just a bit faster not much though. My op the moto is way better for me. Just on the edge of 1 handed use. Where the nexus was very much 2 handed. I still have the nexus and I will not go back. X is the perfect all around phone. Size,speed,camera, screen,camera. Not the best in any but the best all together

Its funny the two people who chose the other phones over the X were all about specs while the others are actually about the usage of a phone. I never understood the spec war its like having a Ferrari with nowhere to drive it. If you cant use it all that horsepower is a waste

I agree with you as I noticed the same things.
I couldn't use my N5 as a phone as nobody could ever hear me the microphone quality is that bad. Most of the time I couldn't even hear them so a majority of each call was spent shouting hello to each other.
I've not noticed any speed difference between the N5 and Moto X. Browsing through the menus is very smooth and fluid, opening apps is almost instant, web page browsing is just the same too. Only difference was when restoring a high number of text messages which is where the N5 came into it's own.
But doing every day tasks such as phone calls, adding memos, adding calendar entries, Spotify, Facebook, Twitter, WhatApp, taking photos, etc, there is no difference at all that I've noticed.
If I were just given the N5 and Moto X to play with without being given the spec of either, I wouldn't be able to tell any difference in speed.
Also it's the most comfortable phone I've ever owned by a mile. No longer need both hands to operate the phone like I had to do with the N5. Screen size is perfect for me.
I have a question for you guys that had both: which camera is better?

my requirements are
1)screen size should not be greater than 5.5 inches (not even 5.6)
2)price should be equal to or less than Rs.25000( about $380)
3) decent battery backup
4) should not lag at all and should be smooth to use
5) i should be able to use the phone for about 2 years without any problems
i was crazy about oneplus 2 initially but i see a lot of negative reviews . i saw a video of speedtest between oneplus 2 vs moto x play in which moto x play beats oneplus 2 easily (i am shocked and confused after watching this)
please help and guide me.
Most of the problems with oneplus 2 are software related and can be fixed. If oneplus wants to, we can have a beast phone. I would personally go for op2 again because of the looks and ability to flash ROMs without losing warranty but I don't blame you if you go for moto x.
Good answer. Went for one plus 2 just because of the development aspect and the great camera, mixed reviews, but I've loved it so far. Feels like bit of a gamble waiting for one plus to get the software optimised with the hardware, will they get there? If they don't someone else will though and I think, if you like things a bit rough round the edges with lots of potential for tweaking etc. Go 4 opt

The play is on a completely different level than the oneplus 2. Even though the oneplus 2 is currently buggy due to poorly optimized software and a flaky cpu, it'll run circles around the moto x play. The play is using a modified version of the CPU in the galaxy s4 and HTC one M7. It's old, it's slow, the GPU is trash, and apparently has the same overheating issues the snapdragon 810 and 808 have. Now, the pure, on the other hand, can definitely keep up with the oneplus 2. I owned both the Moto x pure and the oneplus 2 at the same time and ended up returning the moto x, despite the fact that it was better in every measurable way than the oneplus 2 because it was uncomfortable to hold. The screen was a bit too big and the phone was a bit too wide and too thin and too slippery for my tastes. I dropped it several times during my time with it and just really was not a comfortable phone to hold. But to each their own, totally could have gone the other way, too, both good phones! (Well, ok, the oneplus 2 isn't good yet, but there's potential).
Honestly, if you want the best phone for that kind of money, get the oneplus one and don't even think twice about it. It's far better than the moto x play and the oneplus 2.

But i heard the complete opposite that if you dont have oneplus one then go for OP2 not oneplus one. Another question - If i buy OP2 and root it with other roms/Add kernels then will it void the warranty?
I like my OPT more and more every day. I'm a huge Motorola X guy but opted with OPT. I still own the Motorola X 2014 and Nexus 6.
One Plus 2 has huge potential but it may take a bit of time to get there.
The last update (2.1) has improved things and Android M hopefully will help too.
To be fair, I haven't had any issues with my phone. Screen is nice, fingerprint scanner works flawlessly (better than my Note 5), battery life has been good and overheating a non-issue for me. The camera is great.
Honestly, you can't go wrong with either phone.

I currently have a Moto X Pure and I LOVE it.... I've had it for about 3 weeks - but I just received my OP2 invite last week and went ahead and pulled the trigger and it should be here Monday or Tuesday.....But now, I'm not sure which one I want to keep?!?!
I can refuse the OP2 and get a refund, or sell it to my local/popular "used cell phone" re-seller for probably what I paid for it (or CL for a little more). Or I can keep it and sell the Moto X Pure for probably a little less than what I paid since it's been used for a few weeks.
The ONLY thing that has been the constant deal breaker is the front speakers on the Moto X Pure. I play in a band and watch a lot of YouTube videos to learn new songs and watch movies when I'm "on the road". The front facing speakers is, and has been since my HTC One M7, a big deal for me. How is the OP2 speaker? Is it better than the Galalxy S6?
Also, since owning the MXP, I've really become accustomed to the motion and sensors the MXP offers.... Just wave your hand over the phone to see any notifications or just touch the notification to see more detail (much more than just active display).
Things I REALLY miss... Notification lights. I'm constantly waving my hand over my phone to see if I've missed any calls or text. I had a Galaxy S6 for a little while and really liked the finger print scanner.
Things that seem close and don't sway me either way
OS - both seem nice
Camera - I need a good camera and both seem pretty "on par" with each other.
Custom ROMs - I'm sure the MXP will have plenty soon and the OP2 already has several
A few other concerns.. The MXP's battery life is just OK, not as good as my M8 was but about the same as my M9 (which isn't the best). It is better than the S6..... But I wish it was better. How is the OP2's battery?
USB C - I currently have about 6 or 7 actually active micro USB cables between home, my car, work and my computer bag that get used regularly... Plus my son and I share these chargers when on trips. USB C is the way we're all headed, but i'm not sure I'm ready to shell out $10-15 per cable just yet.
So.....Any input from someone that has owed both would be very helpful.

Moto X Play:
Battery (this is the best with this phone, easy 6-7h SoT) With the oneplus i get 4h SoT with the same use.
Quick charge
Camera in daylight. Inside in poor light it's pretty bad.
Well, thats it... The oneplus is heavier but i like it, it feels more premium. I love the feeling with my kevlar back.
The Play lags alot, but it's software probs so it will most likely be fixed soon.

Day 3 with my OP2 after sending back my Moto X Pure.....
What I miss about the Moto X Pure:
The great front facing speakers....Biggest complaint on the OP2 is thin sounding speakers
The Moto Gestures and always on listening (even with screen off)
Fast charging of the Moto X Pure....I'd come home from work at 60%, plug it in while I took a shower and change clothes.... 25 minutes later 100%
Daylight picture taking
The speakers (I had to say that one twice, it sounds so good).
What I like better about OnePlus2:
Battery life.... The OP2 gets 3.5 to 4 hrs of SOT... Moto X Pure (not the play), got 3 on a good day and never seen more.
Double tap to wake
Off-screen buttons (like on Samsung)
Notification lights! Probably my biggest complaint with my Moto, I missed the notifications LED.
Feels like a more premium build
Over-all picture taking - Not quite as good in nice light, but better in every other situation.
Fingerprint scanner, even though I don't use it, is quick....
More accessories that actually FIT.

FYI: I sent my Moto X Pure back because it has a few QC issues and I pre-ordered a Nexus 6P. If the OP2 had front speakers, I'd just keep it instead.... Really wish it did.
Imo, both phones are different takes on the same goal. For me it came down to the cpu/screen tradeoff as its clear both phones will have thriving dev communities (cm is really coming along for the pure now in month 1 of release).
The 810 in the OPT was just too hot and the screen just too bland. The 808 and qhd screen of the MXP have been a much more enjoyable experience for me.
I'm torn right now. I want a bigger battery and the camera on the 6P seems better. But I really like Moto Display and Moto assist.

Development is going to be far superior on the Nexus. This is huge just by itself.

So for $50 why exactly am I going to settle for the Pure? I won't.
I think if the Pure had come out a few months ago things might be a little different. They waited too long and the Nexus is just a better device. Add to that the shipping issues and pushing people's 14 days into the nexus announcement and well you get what you get. I'm glad mine took so long to ship now. I'm not getting stuck holding this turkey when everyone in 3 months is still asking where their Roms and updates are.
Going back, either getting a Nexus 6 64GB for $340 plus tax and saving $155 (32gb, wood back, sd card...all three total $495 plus tax) or spending an extra $5 for a 32 GB Nexus 6P

I am struggling to see how to justify the extra $100 dollars for the 6p when the xpe beats it in several different areas. And people really shouldn't talk crap about the camera on the 6p because its also speculative at this point. But we already know the camera on the xpe is getting stellar reviews.

Only why I'm even considering the nexus 6P is because of the amoled and battery size. Other than dont care for the other features including the fingerprint. Definitely like the looks of the moto x better. Still deciding. Hmmm
Keeping my Mxp. That phone is ugly with the camera hump. I don't really care about the fingerprint scanner. Camera on my Mxp is good enough for my needs. The form factor on the Mxp is great, it is the perfect size. The Nexus 6P looks as big as the Nexus 6. Coming from a Nexus 6, I don't want a form factor like that anymore. With the sd card slot, I haven't streamed any media or music on the Mxp and that saves on a lot of data. Battery life is ok, but with the quick charger it is a non-issue.
Anybody know how much the uk 6p will retail for? I'm going to return mine when it eventually arrives
Just found out that CA residents have up to 30 days for return! Not that I want to... I like the look and my design of the MXPE, but the battery is disappointing somehow... still deciding.

Thursday will be 2 weeks since my Moto was delivered, I am definitely keeping it. For my usage this, phone is perfect.

I was considering the pure but I see there is no roms yet. Seems a bit behind compared to the new moto g. The 6p will probably be my next device IF I can finance it through T-Mobile.
my 30 day return period is up like Oct 25 from Amazon... and I'm hearing the nexus phones aren't even shipping until November? yeah, i think I'll hang on to this bad boy for a bit, and wait to read reviews on the 6p with that steamy hot 810 in it, and who knows about huwai build quality or who's screen they use... if it's not samsung amoled, or its like previous gen samsung amoled like Motorola used to get, then no thanks, I'd rather have this LCD.
if i end up wanting it, I'll just get it and either sell the moto or hang on to it who knows.

Already pre-ordered 6P. Some of Moto's features that set the XPE apart are now coming to both Nexuses (quick camera access, wake up when picking it up). I can't even get 3 hours SOT with the XPE. :-/ I'm also thinking of N and O releases. My X1 just got 5.1. And the nexus will have ROM support long after that. Sorry Moto, I'm outta here.

I'll be keeping my Pure. I had a huawei phone once. I'll never have another. The 5x is just lack luster compared to the Pure.

Don't forgot no sd card slot
I don't trust the Huawei brand, and since the NX5 is limited to 32gb, I'm keeping the MXP. Sure, it won't have the development that nexus devices do, but I'm confident we'll see enough to keep me happy.
I'm keeping my Moto X, looks better, does everything I want, cheaper... If I change my mind down the road we will see but they packed almsot the same stuff in a larger form factor. Who knows how it will preform either. Also if you watch the 5X hands on from android athority it sure looked like it was having mis touch issues like the G4 has... I really hope it was because he missed the screen looking through his camera cuz that is what led me to ditch the G4 and if it moved to the nexus device... watch out! At least patches will be quicker.

Now that I have my pure in I can say 100% it's going back. My opo is better and I'd keep it over the pure. I can't get over how bad battery life is using chrome or maps. The build quality also feels cheap and I see lots of micro lag that I didn't see as much even in the opo. I'm very disappointed in the pure.
Going back to Motorola and waiting on the nexus p.
I have a Nexus 6p that's due to arrive Thursday. I've been using the Moto X pure for the past 3 weeks and it's been a great experience. Do those of you who switched from the Moto to the 6p have any regrets? I can see pros and cons for both phones but not having experienced the 6p, I'm just going off reviews.
Moto has better speaker quality
Moto has more stable video when recording
Brighter screen on Moto
Both cameras are great in outdoor light, Moto is worse in low light
6p is slightly faster in day to day use but the difference is almost negligible/non existant in mkst apps (is this true?)
Battery life is close (I get 4.5-5 hours SOT on my Moto with minimal drain when idle)
Fingerprint reader for 6p
6p is better for gaming with the Adreno 430 vs 418
Updates for 6p are faster, Motorola seems to be losing favor with people.
SD slot for Moto
Anyhow, it almost seems a wash to me. I'm thinking of refusing delivery on the 6p for a refund. I'd appreciate it if you'd share your experiences with both phones.

Moto X Pure has less LTE bands therefore slightly less travel friendly if you go out of the US.

I had a Moto X Pure that I returned within the 14 day window to get a 6P. I've had my 6P for 3 days now and there is no comparison. The 6P is better in almost every way for me. The only thing I miss about the Moto is the leather back and the IR sensor based screen wake up.

I too returned my Moto X within the 14 day return window for the 6P. So far the 6P is miles better. Plus the fast security updates is a big plus in my book. The lack of good cases for the 6P currently sucks but it was worse with the Moto X. Going to USB C stinks as now I have a ton of micro USB cables I can't use unless I get an adapter. USB C is better for future proofing though. With the price range so close, I am definitely happier with the 6P. The fingerprint scanner is awesome and works way better than the Note 5 I had. It's nice to be able to use on my text messaging app (EvolveSMS) so my kids can't accidentally send a message. Battery seems the same if not better to me.

I did the same thing... Returned my Moto X Pure withing the 14 day window. I have not received my 6p yet, should be here next week. Using a OnePlus2 until then (hate it - FYI).

Other then that I'm in love with the 6P. The battery is way better for me. I got 5 1/2 hours of sot the other day on the 6P and it lasted all day. With the Pure it was dead with about 3 hours of sot and didn't last the whole day. The cameras are both good in good light but the 6P comes out on top in worse lighting which is more important. Most people take pictures inside in not the best lighting. The Pure was easier to hold though.

Nice, thanks. I don't play games either. Think I'm probably gonna stick with the pure as it can only improve once it gets marshmallow.
I had the pure and returned it. The P is the hands down better device. I get about 50% better battery life all things equal with the P than the pure. The P is also smoother. The pure had a lot of micro lag in places that drove me nuts. Moto has a spotty history now with updates I don't trust them with Lenno pulling the strings.
There is no comparison between the devices the P is better hands down.

The 6P looks better. It is just beautiful. I do miss the LCD screen. There is a huge difference between LCD and AMOLED. I've always preferred LCD. The cartoonish colors are very pretty but there is something about the natural LG G4 screen that IMO beats all other screens. The moto x had a great display but the blacks are horrible. But the moto is SOOO much brighter than the 6P. It's like overkill in brightness lol. If you prefer AMOLED screens there is no reason why you shouldn't switch.
The 6P is SOO smooth. No hiccup or anything. Just android as it should be. Now this isn't fair to compare the moto x to it yet because it is still on lollipop. My wife's 5X is smooth and has the same proc so I have no reason to believe the moto wont be smooth on Marshmallow (unless the 2k display is what is causing the lag). So all the comments above comparing the two... sorry but it is apples to oranges at this point
I'm on my first charge so it isn't fair but my moto x did about the same if not better with battery. Of course this will change after a few charge cycles so I will reserve judgment on that. Moto X has been a beast with battery for me .
I have both devices still so ask any questions.
FWIW this is still a test drive and will be a hard choice. Both are outstanding.

I've had the same experience with the X battery. I go through a 12 hour day with moderate usage and don't dip below 50% ever. Maybe I'll have to test drive the 6P. I like LCD but you are right about the blacks on the pure, even though they don't bother me anymore. My concerns are really the 808 processor on the pure and the size of the 6p. For being a phablet, the pure is so comfortable in one hand. Ugh, can't win. Lol. Or maybe it's a win either way.
For me OS security updates trump everything else. You can only get that with Nexus devices. Motorola seems to be getting worse rather than better when it comes to updates, unfortunately.
