Ok this is a little hard to explain, but in using my 6p (stock) now for a few days, when I swipe in from the right edge it doesn't seem to work, as well or at all. I use Action Launcher 3 and one of the perks is quickpage, which is activated via swipe in from the right edge. I can get it to work if I don't swipe in from off the screen, but click just a hair in from the edge. The left edge swipe in works fine.
I thought maybe it was the app but Facebook appears to be the same, when trying to swipe between feeds, requests, etc.
I even tried the google launcher with multiple pages it doesn't handle the swipe in from off the edge well either.
So is it just my phone or can others duplicate my findings? I just want to see if it is just me or not.
thanks

I've got no issues with mine at all, I'm using Action Launcher 3 and mine works perfectly. I'm afraid you might have a defective unit
You could always try a factory reset- you never know.
thanks any others please let me your thoughts too

After updating to 4.2.2, I have noticed that I cannot swipe down with 2 fingers to open quick settings.
I have to swipe down with 2 fingers and then continue swiping down with 1 finger to open quick settings.
The Quick Settings toggle/button still works.

Can't confirm, I'm on 4.2.2 and two-finger wipe down on notification bar brings up the quicksettings just as before.
2 finger swipe works fine for me too
Working fine for me as well.
Sent from my Nexus 4.
Can confirm it also works fine for me too

It seems to work now... Maybe I wasn't swiping correctly (although that's hard to imagine)?
I now have the same issue. Sometimes the 2 finger swipe works and sometimes it brings down the notification bar slightly and then bounces back up. When I lock and unlock my phone again most of the times it works again. Must be a bug or someting.
I just had this same problem. Two finger swipe was not working anywhere. I tried in with Quick Settings, in Nova Launcher gestures, and in Google Maps. Each time, it seemed to register only one finger at a time. However, pinch-to-zoom still worked. Therefore, it's not like all of multi-touch was broken. I even restarted my my phone, but it didn't help. However (thanks "lowtje"), I just tried locking and unlocking my phone and it seems to have fixed it.

Android 4.2.2
Hey guys, I think I found a bit more detail about this problem...at least for me. This seems to be a problem somehow connected to if the phone is charging. This video certainly demonstrates what I'm experiencing. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EoKvMcMzZ_I

yes my wife's note 3 n9000q model has the same problem.
Any tips to solve it?
I've noticed the same thing, I think it's ROM related, because if you actually go in every gesture and click try it, it works just fine.
Also the gestures do work just kind of strange, I've noticed it with screen off, when you keep moving your are over the sensor a lot fast, the preview screen does come on.
Also answer Call and screen shot movements work fine.
For me I don;t use them as much, specially since the eye stuff work great, I would just leave it alone, I thinks it's ROM not hardware so changing the note won;t help. But I may be wrong, I still have like 10 days to exchange so if someone knows more info please share
Problem solved.
Went to the shop and replce it for a new one. the sensor was broken.
I don't get the icon, but it does work.
Not that I use it, it drains my battery to much.
Hey Guys,
So here's the explanation. The Air Jump icon which looks like a hand with directional arrows around it only appears in the embedded email application on the Note 3 as well as some select 3rd party applications on the Google Play Store.
On the Galaxy S4 it appears in the embedded browser as well to allow users to scroll through web pages by waving your hand from bottom to top or top to bottom.
I'm not sure why they have left this out but i imagine it's because the phone has smart scroll already which might make air jump redundant.
Hope this helps.

Has anyone tried to pull the Browser from the S4 and install it on a Note 3 to see if the air gestures work in that? I too was disappointed when I got my Note 3 because I actually used the full page scroll and left/right page switching a lot on the S4.

Maybe your sensor was indeed broken, but mine is fine (Works with Air Call Accept, Email app)
I've watched various videos but after enabling the service and swiping the screen nothing happens. I've tried different swipe motions but no luck activating the reduced window. Appreciate any help.

Make sure you swipe all the way off the screen. You have to end the swipe over (or past) the bezel. Obviously you have to enable the feature from settings also (its off by default). Also make sure you are doing the gesture for the Note 4, the note 3 had a different gesture.
not sure what the note 3 gesture is as I've never owned one . I am actually uploading a video of me doing and will be postingit in a second
Just to confirm you are using the Samsung keyboard? The one hand feature only works when using the default Samsung keyboard.

No thats not what he is talking about. He is talking about shrinking the entire screen down, not the smaller keyboard. This feature is off by default in the Note 4, but is a nice one to have on occasion.
Here I am trying to activate it http://youtu.be/43p280kN8O0

You are doing it totally wrong. Only go to the middle of the screen (not all the way across) and without lifting the thumb go all the way back to the bezel.
Thanks after trying it over and over again I finally got it, I was basically doing the action to slow. If you watch my video you have to do the motion 2 times faster and it will work 100% of the time. Really appreiate the help
I only tried to use this feature on my S5 a couple times, but my wife would like to use this feature on her new N4. I find that starting the One-handed operation function on both the S5 and N4 using the touchscreen gesture described in the enabling setting screen rarely works. It takes a bunch of swipes before the reduced One-handed screen appears.Very annoying and defeats the purpose of the feature as you actually have to try to enable it using two hands. I didn't even try to master using this feature given that it's so hard to get it started. I thought it was an issue with my S5, but after trying it on the N4... I had the same results. Is there a shortcut to enable this feature other than that the swiping gesture? Anyone else experiencing this issue?
Im sure you dont swipe correctly, for me it work all the time, just swipe your finger from screen edge to the middle then back to the screen edge with a horizontal way! Its not a V-like swipe, its like a hohorizontal "I" swipe just try it until you get it working!
Good luck!

Yes, I'm swiping correctly, but it's not very reliable it works only 1 out of 6 or 7 times. I have a wallpaper with a straight line down the middle and I swipe over that straight line to the middle of the screen from the edge of the screen and back. Of course in a horizontal I. It would be nice if this feature had a toggle in the top bar pull down to turn it on/off. I'm hoping a Xposed Module developer notices this deficiency and comes up with a module with shortcut solution.
You have to start at edge of screen then finish at edge of screen, which can be a problem if you have a case. Doesn't hurt to actually go past the center either.
I can do it pretty consistently, and the times I fail I know it's because I hit the rim on the case and didn't swipe all the way to edge.
The navigation gestures on the 8 Pro are usable. However, I dislike the swiping to go back. It doesn’t allow for access to slide out menus from the side on different apps. On the 6T, you would swipe up on the right or left hand side to go back keeping the sides of the screen free. Is there anyone who would be able to somehow pull the navigation gestures that were on the 6T to be used on the 8 Pro?
I had asked this twice already and so far I've been told it's not possible just downloaded fluid navigation gestures and set them up and you're good to go.
There are alternatives when it comes to the swiping (All in one gestures/Vivd etc.) They do that job well in my opinion.
The thing they all have in common is that they need that area in the bottom to function, and for my case that messes with the lower end of my keyboard.
I enjoy having the swiftkey keyboard dragged down all the way to the bottom of the screen.
If someone is able to pull the OP gestures and somehow make it available as a module or whatever, I would surely donate some coffee..
This is almost a dealbreaker, and I miss my 7 Pro which also have them.

Were you able to set them up in a way that operates the same? Does it seem to work well and reliably/consistently?

the application itself one setup does perform like the regular OnePlus just the sensitivity area of where you're swiping up from kind of makes it like a dead zone for touching on other spots underneath the swipe area. But you can configure your sensitivity area I have mine set to a little bit of past half so this way I get the best of both I get my swipe gestures and I can still access the stuff that's underneath them. I also left the right side back gesture available so this way if it doesn't function properly on the bottom I still got the side.

Are you able to use root to hide the system navigation bar? It hides it for a second for me but it doesn't stay hidden which is frustrating. Unless that's a pro feature?

Mine stayed hidden all the time after I set I rebooted and haven't had a issue yet.
