[SOLVEDish] Encryption not working - X Style (Pure) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm trying to encrypt my phone. I rebooted into safe mode and I have the stock recovery installed. I entered my pin to restar and encrpyt and it just stays at the blue Motorola logo. Any way I can get this working?
I need the device encrypted.
Edit: I did finally manage to get it working by clearing dalvik and cache then going into a terminal emulator and doing the following:
1) su
2) pkill -KILL daemonsu
Then the encryption worked but it did hang at the M logo for a bit before showing the encryption screen already at 53%
I'm not sure if the cache clearing mattered or not, but now I'm encrypted and rooted

Wiped system in Terminal Emulator and now Iconia Tab won't boot

After I rooted my A500, I wanted a clean slate to work with, but when I tried factory resetting, everything stayed exactly the same as if the factory reset wouldn't complete. I tried wiping through ROM manager as well again with no results. I went into terminal emulator and gained superuser permissions, then typed in 'wipe' and it gave me the option to wipe the system or something else. Long story short, I typed in to wipe the system and everything went to hell. I got force close notifications one right after the other, my tablet popups starting coming up in different languages, and then the tablet shut off. When I went to reboot it, it stopped at the Acer logo screen. I had CWM recovery installed or so I thought (I had it installed through ROM manager but I can't boot into recovery or anything now). When I boot with the power button and Vol- it says:
Erasing Cache before SD update...
SD update cmd: recovery
--update_package=SDCARD: update.zip
Booting recovery kernal image
Recovery verified failed...
I've tried booting with the power button and Vol+ and flipping the rotation lock and after clearing the Userdata and Cache and rebooting, it sticks on the logo screen. I've read countless forums both here and elsewhere about downloading an update.zip to the SD card and letting the update run its course but nothing happens. I have no recovery access, no fastboot access, no CPUID, no nandroid backup, and no way to push files to the tab except through the external SD card.
The computer will recognize the device as an MTP device when plugged in via USB, but the drivers won't install. I've manually installed drivers from the Acer website and multiple third parties with no luck.
I really have no other ideas so I thought I'd come to you guys. Literally any help whatsoever would be appreciated so thanks in advance

Trying to update to AOKP Build 5 - Now Phone Stuck at Google Boot Screen - Help?

Hey everyone,
As the title states, I'm stuck at the boot screen. It's got the Google logo with an unlock symbol at the bottom of the screen.
I was trying to update to the recent AOKP release (I had been on an earlier release) and something went wrong.
From this page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1766684 I followed these instructions:
Wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, and wipe dalvik cache, then go into mounts & storage and format system (if using CWM). To format system w/TWRP, select Wipe then System!!!
I think the issue occured after I selected to wipe SYSTEM.
Now, I can get to the fastboot menu (volume down + power). I can select restart bootloader/recovery mode/start...but the phone always stops at the GOOGLE logo (with the unlock symbol at the bottom).
So then I tried to use the WugFresh tool kit to go "Back to Stock" with Current Status of "Soft-Bricked/Bootloop" but that didn't work either. The command prompt lines came up on the PC and it said everything was supposed to reboot (and may do it a few times) but mine just sat at the fastboot menu. When I tried again, I noticed a lot of things failing in the automated command prompt.
So now I'm not sure what to do. Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Edit: I should mention that I did update the bootloader first to makoz10o from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2105983

Stuck on bootloop - restarts even when in recovery/fastboot

I have installed nuclearom 6. the problem started after i got fingerprint hardware not found error. Suddenly the phone got into bootloop. The phone shows 'zuk' and 'powered by android ', followed by 'radioactive kernel' screen. I cant turn off the phone unless it runs out out of battery. I can go into twrp recovery, however the phone reboots automatically after 5-6 seconds in recovery. The same with fastboot also.
I have tried wiping delvik cache, cache, system (yes the os) and data.
Npthing worked. Please help.
Hope this can help https://forum.xda-developers.com/zuk-z1/help/z1-bugs-t3666821

TWRP install fails (EU Version)

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to install TWRP on a fresh LG G6. I before updated the G6 to the latest available version.
So its currently running Android 8.0.0
Build Number OPR1.170623.032
Software version V20a-EUR-XX
I already unlocked the bootloader. Then I bootet into fastboot and tried to install twrp-3.2.1-0-h870. But after rebooting it with Volume Down + Power Key and reseting the device. I only see the TWRP splash screen after that the phone is booting the normal way up (and is reverting the bootloader).
I then installed (also via fastboot) twrp-3.1.1-0-h870. With this version I'm able to get into TWRP but this version is asking me for the password of the partition to decrypt. I didn't set up any encryption. So i tried "0000" --> no success. I also bootet andoird normaly and then setup a display lock screen with Pin 0000. But this code TWRP also refuses to use.
So I'm a little bit stranded here because I don't know what to do next.
Does anyone have a idea?
Greeting Uwe
You need to skip the password stage then format all. Type yes then it will work fine.
When it asks for password you can skip this stage
If I do so. I get
Formatting Data using make_ext4fs...
YOu may need to reboot recovery to be able tu usw /tada again.
Updating partition details...
Failed to mount '/system' (Device or resource busy)
... done
Click to collapse
Then I hit reboot and the device is rebooting into Android and starting the first startassistant (so the format finally deleted something )
Then I power off the system and reboot with "Volume Down + Power" and I again only end in Factory reset data dialog
Ok next try same procedure than above. But not reboot into system instead only reboot into recovery --> pushing lineageos and the other zips onto the /sdcard/.
Wiping system, data, cache.
Flashing twrp via twrp, flashing lineageos, flashing gapps, flashing lineageos su package.
Reboot
And I'm greeted by Lineageos. Thanks for your support.

Phone Stuck in Boot after Clearing Cache

Need Help!!!!
I cleared the cache from Stock recovery (which I do regularly) after that the phone is stuck in the boot at Zenfone logo (dots moving). However it does ask for the password before that and every thing works there, after that it is stuck there forever, nothing happens.
Things I have already tried:
1) Flashing Stock Rom using the Stock Recovery
2) Clearing the Cache again
3) Flashing the updated Stock Rom (Pie)
Able to boot in to recovery and fastboot mode, however bootloader is LOCKED and ADB is DISABLED as well.
Is there any way to recover the data from the phone? It is important for a legal case, and I was not in the position to take the backup, sorry for that.
It would be very greatfull if some once can help me recover this important data or start the phone.
Or should I just go ahead and factory reset the phone?
