I've been look all over the place but it's kind of confusing for me which Roms work best for the Dev Edition without locking the bootloader. If your having a great experience with a certain Rom on you Dev edtion S5 please let us know. Thanks.

Alright everyone, Angelos from www.roms-db.com contacted me.
And i'm happy to let you know that after high demand, he's in the final
stages of adding Galaxy Note roms to his database of custom roms http://galaxynote.roms-db.com.
He would greatly appreciate it if everyone could check out his site and give some feedback if any information is wrong or missing. Also when there are any updates not mentioned (for example the android version (4.0.3
...))
The site for the Galaxy Note roms is http://galaxynote.roms-db.com
Thanks Angelos!
I would appreciate it if a moderator could make this a sticky since it's going to be a great help to the forum and the members/cooks!
Cheers!
excuse my curiosity, but what would be the benefits of that site compared to sammobile and dr ketan's thread?

If you check his site and see for yourself you'll understand. It's nothing like ketan's thread which only lists the official Samsung roms. I'm talking about custom roms updated daily. If you try searching for updated roms you'll find them in just a sec. It's easier for us it's easier for the cooks and it's a great way to find all the roms meant for your specification's (Touchwiz, CM9, MIUI, GB, ICS, JB, etc...) since his site is being updated daily and has the most complete package on all the roms available for HTC HD2, Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S II, HTC Sensation and HTC EVO 4G. Why not Galaxy Note? Anyway, he told me he might do it if more people would like this new feature, why would anyone say no?
Nice site and very well organized

very neat and easy to find and use...please guys head over there and see for yourself.
Everyone please press the contact me button and tell him if you are interested in a Galaxy Note page. http://www.roms-db.com/
Thanks Everyone

I've added this thread in the development section, so it would be good if a moderator could close this one.
Thanks guys
Created for newbies, flashaholic's and developers, this poll is meant to reveal the most popular and flashed roms for Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505. I think we all know the few most popular ones, but let's find out which one is whose favorite. Please feel free to comment down below your favorite ROM and WHY?
The main reason i made this poll was that it was available for several other devices but didn't find it for international version of S4. Also, I think it will help in the decision making which ROM to flash for those of us who haven't flashed before or only few times and who doesn't want to test all the roms out there.

Please add the Samsung stock rom to the poll to make it complete.
Thread closed as its a Best ROM thread.
I own a Sprint Triband S4 (720T) and I want to run the closest thing I can to Vanilla Android or Google Play Edition.
I would like to eventually run stock ANdroid 5 Lollipop in the future.
Unfortunately, I am a complete NOOB, so I am looking for the easiest, most stable solution.
Can members please post a tutorial or link to a tutorial on how to make these modifications to my L720T ???
Frankly, I'm such a NOOB, I would take any recommendations at all that anyone is willing to give.
Also, are there any CONS or anything I'll lost by leaving the stock ROM ?????
Thanks in advance.
(I did a search for threads with Vanilla and Google Play Edition in their titles before posting)
Flash a Aosp ROM of your choice from the original development section or from the unified builds.

That's the point, I am such a NOOB that I have no idea on how to make a choice or even how to root for that matter.
The only thing I would like is to be as close to Vanilla Android or Google Play Edition as possible.
The "Knock Knock" On/Off feature from the LG G2 would be nice, as well.

Hi all, there's been some back and forth as to which ROMs work on the dev edition. I decided to make a thread to list the ones I've tried and work. I figured we can share which worked and what you did to get them working (i.e. change APN, kernel, etc.). Thank you devs for sharing your great work I've used the following successfully:
Definitive
CM12 (known bugs)
Firekat (in T-mobile thread, daily driver)
Stock
Rick's
Well considering that there is no root available for the retail version it would make total sense that roms posted in the development forums are for the Dev edition of the device. I don't believe there is any question as which roms are for the Developer Device.

Have a great day!
I think he means Rom's that work versus those with too many bugs as opposed to DE vs RE rom's.
For this to be fully useful I would suggest links to the forum post for each Rom and listing out the different CM12 variants (AICP, PAC, etc.). Thanks
What I meant was, "I tried ROM xyz from the tmo forum using ABC kernel". I apologize if it wasn't clear enough. Some folks have successfully ported Roms that were for a different carrier.

My suggestion is that you edit the title also the other user has a great idea to post links for each one so you can actually have a help thread or index.

So....how did you get Firekat to work, then?
I'll update the page with links, etc. today. The Dev, Mega, makes a Verizon Dev edition specific version of Firekat. 11x is the most recent and it is listed under the T-Mobile Note 4 section but labeled as vzw.
I ask this because the g360f is completely forgotten and I canĀ“t support this, a lot of roms for the rest of models but this model not and this is the best place for ask for a ROM,please, touchwiz is so bad in older versions and is time to change this and put android pure. Please developers, you are the best to do this.
Peace
That would be great! I have a g360f and I would like at least a 5.1.1 port. I don't know why samsung forgot to update it. Cheers to developers who would like to develop for it and also for all others who dedicate their time for any other phone on this forum.
G360F owner here too,
would really appreciate a custom ROM...
Probably it is going to be very difficult but is posible if we try it , is that or this phone will die and I will not allow that even if I need to learn programming
