Hi, I made a change to my IMEI s6 edge + and now I can't to bring it back to the original firmware, all stock, without having any root. I tried to restore it through KIES3, everything went well, but when the phone restart after flashing, remains in loop mode on the Samsung s6 plus edge logo and does not go forward. The only way to restart it is flashing a kernel unofficial, but I would all stock. Solutions?

Hello.
Im having trouble with my European (Sweden) Galaxy S6 Edge G925F.
I have used
twrp-3.0.2-0-zerolte.img
SpaceX-Kernel_MM_RC2.1_G925F
BETA-SuperSU-v2.74-2-20160519174328
It worked well for some time and i goot root, keept the original 5.0.0.1 Android version.
Yesterday while recharging the phone i tried to enter the recovery and it got stuck in a bootloop, Samsung flashing logo.
I have read i need to clear the cashe to get it working but when entering twrp i cant get access to the phones memory :crying:
I have tried the latest twrp 3.0.2-1 and the then the phone never enters the recovery and gets stuck at Samsung Galaxy logo.
What can i do to clear the cashe? I woud like to keep the data on the phone if posible.
I have now installed TyrannusRomV28.1 and still got the same problem.
Anyone??
This is the wrong forum you asked in... This is the S6 Edge+ forum...

So I have had my Galaxy S7 G930A for about a month. I have had a android phone for several years. I found out that the S7 had a root method and I hopped on it. Once I rooted it was fine, until google play kept getting crashes so I rebooted my phone hoping it would fix it. Nope now the phone wont turn on it only gets past the Galaxy S7 screen. I tried reflashing and wiping data and no avail. Please help me. My PC Detects it in ODIN.
Did you flash the fix zip with flashfire?
I would return it to stock in Odin, then just start over
Hey guys,
I have had SuperStock-Rom installed on my S7 edge since its release and I've never had any problems with it... until today.
I'll be honest, when the V2.0 BETA version of the ROM (with Nougat) came out, I flashed it to my phone even though there was no Nougat bootloader and modem available for my region (W8) because I heard that it'd still work. I just had to flash the Marshmallow modem of my region in order to have signal. The only downside to this was that after every reboot, I wouldn't have any signal unless I turned Airplane Mode off and on.
Everything was fine until I was on V2.1 and I dirty flashed to V2.2 when it came out. This immediately caused a boot loop that I haven't been able to fix, no matter what I did. Here are all the things I tried doing with no success:
- Doing an Advanced wipe in TWRP and checking all the boxes except for the external SD card
- Flashing my carrier's latest stock firmware (AP, BL, CP and CSC) with Odin
- Doing the "Emergency software recovery and initialization" in Smart Switch with my serial number
- Wiping the cache and Dalvik cache and doing a factory reset before and after every process mentioned above, if they didn't work
I'd also like to add that the boot loop seems to have 3 stages: the "Samsung Galaxy S7 edge" splash screen, the Samsung logo and "Android is starting... Optimizing app 12 of 12." It sometimes freezes on the Samsung logo, but most of the time, it freezes in the midst of "Optimizing app 12 of 12." I've attached pictures of each stage to this post.
Here's my phone's information:
Model number: SM-G935W8
Carrier: Videotron
Country: Canada
I'd be extremely grateful to receive any help. Thank you.
You might be as well a victim to what I am describing here:

Although I didn't flash any custom Roms nor root, the symptoms are exactly the same as you have, including the freeze and reboot at these 3 stages.
And what else can you do except flashing the stock everything?

At least you can send your S7 edge to Samsung for repair, so don't worry!
I wish I could do the same but I unfortunately lost my warranty by just rooting my phone. :/ I guess I could try my luck with my carrier if nothing works, haha.
My Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935F) got stuck in a bootloop (after the Samsung galaxy s7 edge screen it just gets stuck on the SAMSUNG logo). I already tried to force-restart it and to wipe the cache, but that didn't work. I wonder if i could restore it by applying an update using the "apply update from SD card" option in the Recovery Menu. I'd like to avoid restoring to factory settings/flashing with odin because i have some things i need in it (phone numbers and the such) and i'd rather not lose this information since my last backup is from 2 months ago.
I rooted my s7 edge and didn't like it. I then got stuck in a bootloop and was finally able to flash the firmware from this thread right here
