Hello all!
I recently purchased a galaxy s6 (non-edge) and discovered that
This display has a slight pink tint near the middle to the bottom
And a bit of a yellow/green tint near the top.
I am curious as to how the s6 edge+ displays are.
Has anyone had this issue with the edg+ yet?

I have the S6 Edge and I want to know if the S7 Edge suffers from the same issue.
If I look at the screen (with any app that has a white background e.g. Settings) I can see patches all over it. Not scratches, but patches. Kind of like an orange peel effect. It's not a serious problem but just a little annoying. I also have the regular S6 and it has no such issues. In fact I prefer the regular screen in terms of quality.
But if you have the S7 Edge, please let me know if you have this issue.
Much appreciated.
Did you get a refurbished s6? I can't see any of those issues with my s7
No it was brand new, sealed. My S6 doesn't have it, only my S6 Edge has it. So you have no issues with the screen at all then? I'm considering getting the S7 Edge.
screen going fuzzy can't see anything.
got galaxy S6 Edge+ Plus. over a year now. restart does help.
but why is my screen going fuzzy ?
Hello all, In my S7 EDGE LCD screen there is a pink tint [IMG="S7 edge pink tint Lcd problemarea. This area is hard to see in black black ground but in white or light colour back ground its clearly visible. It like in the middle area of the screen. And bottom side of the line its pink tint shade and above is normal screen. Have any one got this issue before. I noticed this after the Nougat update.
Thanks in advance
Hello. Here too. It's really close to s8 red tint problem....

I have this same problem. Did u get it fixed?
Hi. I get this light bleeding just after the edge finishes, especially on the left side of the phone.
It is more prominent when brightness is high and when there is a bright graphic being displayed near the edge.

Is this normal???
Yes, that type of bleed is normal. I have it also on my silver phone. My friends have it too on their s7 edges.

That's completely normal because it is curved display. Nothing to worry about. I also have that I mean every single curved Galaxy has that light "bleeding".
Also technically, this is not light bleeding (amoled don't have any backlighting make it impossible to bleed).
This is caused by the light (from display) reflect inside and is trapped in the glass then come out at the edge/end of the glass.

Thanks ... interesting.... can anyone show me a photo too?
Hello everyone!
I'm new here, this is my first post.
I just received my Nubia Z17 lite from Geekbuying and I was very excited for the edge to edge screen, but now I'm a little dissapointed. It seems that at the side edges the colors are distorted, it looks like rainbow colors. This can be noticed best on a white background (the most prominent color on the edge seems to be green).
It's very annoying and distracting.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is it a feature? This question applies also to normal Z17 users.
Thank you!
Seems like it's normal since this isn't a true curved display it's uses some clever light bending to get the edge to edge look and curve. I have the Z17 and I can only see the rainbow at very hard and exact angles but the distortion can be seen at any angle
My Z17 Lite has the same "issue", it's completely normal.
Rainbow colors
It seems that this issue is different from phone to phone. On my phone the rainbow colors are visible from almost every angle, even when looking straight. It kind of ruins the edge to edge screen, instead of having black bezels it has rainbow lines . I want to replace mine but with the Chinese New Year, Geekbuying is slow to respond.
