I'm stuck here for 3 days
Ok I'm going to tell everything I did,,
My Gionee E7 is indian version.
First I rooted my phone with kingo Root.
Than I flashed CWM chinese version.
I upgraded my system to kitkat and changed the recovery to stock.
I used it for a week than some how my music player and gallery were corrupted.
I don't have any rom so I download one but it was in chinese, flashed it to my gionee. than after rooting,,
I flashed the CWM, same I flashed weeks ago
Here my problem started :crying:
The CWM is not starting. I used recoery tool to boot into recovery after boot up it shows black screen. I used every method holding Vol+ and power button but the same result.
than I tired to get back to my stock recovery but it does the same.
flashed many times both recoveries but didn't worked.
I searched a lot and find a TWRP. I flashed it and wow it worked Finally I can boot into recoery mode.
Now I find the Nandroid backup of indian version. I made it a zip and flashed it through twrp.
My phone is back to indian version but its slow, not too much but its slow; camera, gallery and other apps take some time to open. I can't make or rcv phone calls. Now what i did is download the update form System update.
Now i got kitkat rom.zip but twrp failed to install it.
Some one on the internet was saying that its the problem with my Kernel. I have the latest kernel so CWM won't work cuz it uses old kernel and display drivers.
My
android version is 4.2.2
Kernel version is 3.4.0-svn2155
I also got TWRP for lolipop,
and I patched binary_update in my kitkat rom too but TWRP can't flash it
Thats my whooooolllleeeee story. "
I got stuck with this for almost 3 days now I'm damn tired can't do it anymore plz help :crying::crying::crying:

Hello my friend, please help me.
I am trying to flash stock inidan rom 4.2 but.. I installed all CWM for E7 found on the internet and I am getting black screen. I managed to Install TWRP but TWRP cannot flash the rom that I need to flash. I flashed a chinese 4.2 but is piece of garbage..
gngc-download-tool said that the com port is closed.
I have windows 64 is this the problem causing gngc not working?
No its not, it is working on 64bit windows very well.
In TWRP factory reset and format system and data, than install
Chinese 4.2 ROM. After that boot it and try it again.
It should work!

Help
I just rooted my gionee elife e7. Flashed the chinese recovery which seemed to be the only one which would be compatible. But, while changing a few setting using pimp my rom, the software just stopped working. Errors keep showing up on the screen - "system.ui is not working", "android app is not working", I cannot even go the settings because "settings is not working". Third party apps still seem to work, so, whatsap and stuff continue to function. Doing a factory reset or flashing firmware again seem to be the only viable option.
But, when I try to load up the bootloader using the power and volume keys, it gets stuck on the screen showing the gionee logo and it reads 'fastboot mode' in the bottom left hand side corner. So,
a. can you offer any advice which may be useful ?
b. can you share the link from where you got a TWRP recovery which will work on the Elife ?
c. do you have any idea what exactly went wrong here ?
Any help you can provide will be appreciated because, it's my mausi's phone and I will have a very tough time explaining what really went down here.
Regards,
Factory Reset after rooting
After rooting my p8lite (ale-l21) and installing TWRP i always get the Message "system storage is getting low". Because oft that i tried to factory reset my phone but i just got stuck in the bootanimation (luckily i made a backup) but now i cant install apps and most oft my installed apps just dont Start anymore! I even tried to flash the stock Firmware (dload folder) but i get an error without any Details. What can i do now?
Did you do something else before rooting?
I unlocked the bootloader.
When does that message pop up?
I solved the Problem, i actually forgot that i tried to installed the xposed-framework but it failed, and it seems like the uninstaller did fail someehow, now i installed the uninstall ZIP Form twrp again and everything works like excepted now.
How did you unlock the bootloader, i requested the code at huawei but no response also using the unlock program on site i ran in to trouble getting a phone acount .

Sounds like your TWRP image is wrong. Where did you get it?
Did you unpack the image and verify it is for mt6737.?
The one twrp I found on this forrum claiming to be for the zenphone 3 Max , when opened , I found it was built for Qualcomm not mtk.

Yes, there is a TWRP for your phone!
The following tutorial is the only one that has worked for me. It's in Brazilian Portuguese, but you can copy the link into google translator and it'll be easy for you to understand.
Find out which version of TWRP you'll need for your specific chipset and follow the instructions with pics.
Good luck!
Sorry, as a new user I'm not allowed to post any link...
But basically you need to go to, eusouandroid DOT co SLASH custom-recovery-zenfone-3-max-zc520tl-twrp
My device is a J530F (J5 2017).
Im using custom roms for years, but now im deparated with a situation that I don’t understand.
I decided to back to my StockRom (J530FXXS7CTG2_J530FBTU7CTG1_BTU) via Oddin because the CustomRom im using doesn’t have GooglePlayServices (crDroidAndroid-10.0-20210418-j5y17lte-v6.17 flashed with OrangeFox Recovery). PS: This CustomRom is 64Bits, do u think that changed or damaged something in my device?
So, for the 1st time I haved some troubles during the flash stockrom but with few tryes I solved.
When Im back to my StockRom, im surprised to see that my CTS Profile is false and GooglePlay non-certified device. (I think is not normal)…
I rooted the device with magisk for solve this problem and in fact, I solved the Cts Profile but Google Play keeps say that non-certified device. (I searched for Netflix on google play and appear to me so its fine…)
My next step was Reboot in Recovery to flash custom rom. I turn off and turn on with Power, Volume+ and HomeButton. Recovery don’t appear and hes reboot to system mod… So I opened magisk and click Reboot to Recovery but hes turn off and reboot in system mod again… (wtf? -.-‘).
So I have to flashed the TWRP throw Oddin (again) to reboot to recovery. In TWRP I Wiped (Dalvik/Art Cache; System; Data; Internet Storage; Cache) and swipe. Next step was flash new CustomRom (PROMETHEUS_V3_G610X_ARM64 based on A730FXXU6CSJ2)… After flash, when phone rebooted hes show SAMSUNG GALAXY J5 LOGO and then Black Screen (No Samsung Logo) and do not do nothing. (I waited 45min… was the Binary that cause the error??... Was because is 64bits rom? IDK)…
So I repeat all process, go into Download Mode, flashed StockRom, rooted again and flash another CustomRom (PrometheusOneUI V2.0 based on A600FNXXU3BSC5 by Ananjaser1211 @xda-developers That im sure that works on my device because I used during like 1 year). After flash and reboot, the device turn on with Samsung Galaxy J5 and black screen again.
So in conclusion, I cant install custom roms now and don’t know why… somebody can help me?? I don’t tried the same process with OrangeFox twrp because don’t feel that make different but whos know…
Sorry for the long text and bad English, but I did my best for sure…
Dear friends,
I have a recovery bootloop problem with my Op6t European version.
On this week I made an OTA update (11.1.1.1 version) with magisk app. I made with install to inactive slot (after OTA) version.
After this process my phone was reboot and got a recovery bootloop. I have never been in this situation although I made more update with this process.
After that I tried to make wipe cache and reset system settings but it was not succes.
I tried to read forum threads where somebody also has this problem. I found a thread where somebody use fastboot and change slot to use phone temporaly. It's also working for me on but I would like to repair that.
Can I get back my old system with my data? How can I make some solution?
Sorry for my bad english.
UPDATE:
Yesterday I tried to reflash the stock rom with adb sideload , but absolutely does nothing in this case.
I am also having this issue. Can someone point me in the right place for a fix?
