5x4 stock launcher?

Has anyone done the 5x4 launcher? Does the xposed 5x4 launcher mod in the repo work?

I have managed to get a 5X5 launcher more or less working through the Nottach xposed framework module.

It is working for most apps and I am saying most. My Smurfville Game and my Barcode reader caused problems which required the device to be rebooted.

I have used the xposed framework repo for that and it worked beautifully until I upgraded to android 4.3 on note 2.

I've not gotten this to work on my note 3. It is installed and the module is enabled. Anyone have luck w/ this yet w/ 4.3?

just choose the launcher style you want and install and be done with it... works like a champ and there's a few different options there that are pretty cool...5x5 launcher rotation to landscape with 5x6 app drawer was a winner for me.

I tried to install a few of those but got failed errors even w/ my deodexed rom.

Did you follow the dudes instructions exactly? I had some problems too but I wasn't doing it exactly the right way at first... now I have it running in 3 different ROM slots with no problems.

[Request] Modded settings apk for sgp311

Since the initiative update the settings app is really laggy and it would be nice if someone could create a modded odexed version to fix the lag like it was done for sgp321.
Since I myself am unable to do so (no computer at, it died) I would even donate to the one that gets this done.

Here you go [MOD][4.4.2] Settings FIXED lag SGP311/SGP312 [UPDATED 09/06/14][WORKING] :good:
If you are in Stock Odexed Rom (without any mod. Except Root), it's not possible to get a working version.
Anyway, there isn't a real difference (almost) between odexed and deodexed Rom, except the startup time.
With a deodexed Rom it's far easier make and use mods

it is posible to get a odexed-fexed settings app but you have to deodex all apps, fix settings and reodex with your tablet
here you go odex/deodex pack, both with fixed settings.

I am using Xposed and definitely recommend GravityBox if you are running on Google UI. Also App Settings to change DPI of some apps so everything doesn't look that big. Fix Lollipop Memory Leak really helped me maintaining more free RAM after long periods without reboot.

Firstly install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk and then flash the zip archive in your recovery (xposed-v67-sdk21-arm.zip).
In the Xposed Installer app - "Framework" section you should see your installed version of XposedBridge.jar.
I am currently running a little older version (v64) but i think that doesn't really matter.

I don't think that's true...
The difference between Google and Lenovo UI is just that few apps from AOSP were replaced by themed ones from Lenovo. That's all.
I've had xposed on Lenovo UI on kitkat 4.4.2 without any problems.
I mean, xposed alone should work regardless of your UI. The problem might be with some xposed modules written specifically for AOSP roms (eg. GravityBox).

Maybe, but do you think that it is so easily? Why we don't have already updated to Android Lollipop 5.1.1 ?
What I know is that Xposed without GravityBox is like holiday without sun...
Can you try GravityBox on your curent setup and write result here, please?

on kitkat ROW i use successfully gravity box and xblast tools.... NO PROBLEM.

[I bought a ROW version with Kitkat.
Updated it for Stock Lollipop.
Rooted it with 0_install_root_K920Pro.bat.
Unlocked bootloader with VibeZ2Pro_ROW_UnLock_BootLoader_L using Qfil
Run (did not flash) TWRP 0_run_twrp_recovery_K920Pro.bat
Backed up my working stock ROM
Flashed DragonVibe8 with TWRP run
Installed XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
Flashed xposed-v71-sdk21-arm.zip using TWRP run
Installed GravityBox_Lollipop_5.1.4.apk
Everything on Gravity Box works perfectly on Vibe UI.
Installed Titanium backup, froze unwanted apps.
After I was sure, removed all bloatware which were frozen using Titanium backup.
Installed Device control. Modified CPU and GPU settings.
My K920 is now amazing on performance, power backup, functionalities and features in addition to its lovely Hardware (screen, camera and looks).

You need "xposed-v80-sdk21-arm.zip" version because of Android Lollipop 5.0.2 ( Lenovo Stock ROM).

[SM-G901F] Galaxy S5 Plus - DPI change messes up certain apps. How to fix that?

I changed the DPI of my S5 Plus to 400 instead of the default 480. Some apps now appear in smaller boxes on the screen. For me the biggest problem is that the camera now has this problem.
In other threads people bring this up for the normal s5. The solution is to use Xposed to set custom Appsettings. But the problem is that Xposed doesn't work (yet) on the S5 plus! So is there any other way to fix the camera app?

hmmm.... so how to install it? When I'm in the xposed installer app, it says: Xposed is not yet compatible with android sdk 21 or your processor architecture (armeabi-v7a)...

you just have to flash the latest xposed with your recovery (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65373013&postcount=3960) and install xposed alpha 4 apk
I assume it also works with rovo89's official xposed but I'm not sure.

I think that you should try since we have the same firmware as the "standard" S5. It is just that our device is not very popular and so it is not on the list.

[TW][ROM] Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Touchwiz rom

Hi all,this rom is made and tested for Tab 2 7.0 P3110 (it should work for P3113). This rom is NOT TOUCHWIZ BASED that means you cannot download any Touchwiz app and it would work in this rom. It have some ported TW apps and they work. Rom is builded with Nightly CM11 and it work really fast. I would try to update it and port more TW apps on it. If someone know how to port old TW apps please reply.
How to install:
1.Install TWRP or CWM recovery
2. Always made backup
3.Wipe data,system,davlik and cache
4. Flash zip file
5.reboot to rom
Important:
1.In themes Select S5 TW theme (for now need that way but i would edit apps to look like TW wthoud theme)
2.This rome have sound booster
3. This rom doesent have GAPPS, i would provide a link to download them, but for Kitkat it just slow device​4. This rom uses a CM11 stock kernel moded to run TW frameworks.

It works i guess. Dpi is way too big and some apps crash. Why need samsung apps and chat on tho.

I posted it but Admin removed it... DPI is bc i cannot port any other TW Home app for this only this one, and only thing that crash is Clock and Task Menager... Is there a way to change DPI to one app but doesent efect others?

closest i know to that is paranoid preferences on jellybean. but this is kitkat. walkman and sys ui crashed for me

Sorry for late reaply, for me all works, did you do all correct while flashing? I maybe know where is the error, i had 2 kernels one from Samsung but sys ui and framework res crash, on other one i have half samsung half CM and it worked

i did all the wipes then flashed the rom. also what kernel do you use? cm11 is pretty laggy for me

Hi, i fixed the issuse, i use SecMediaProvider and it wasnt installed, now i added CM11 stock one and roms works fine and there is error on CM keyguard and i put Samsung lockscreen instead, sorry for my mistake and thanks for help. I use stock CM11 kernel with TW framework Addon, i put that in thread
