has anyone tried meizu phones? it was about time to release a cheap phone with metal body..
what gpu it have ?
solid phone!
one of my friends has it for review purposes.. he said that the phone is awesome and great battery life as well
Hello to all.
Meizu are new in the field.
The terminal is my mother, with whom he always had a great time.
But now accuses a high consumption of battery and laments the fact that the last time is always very hot.
Probably there will be some applications that run in the background or whatever, however it is now time to do some cleaning.
I went to check, and the cell assembles Flyme 4.5.4I ... but I'm not sure it's the international version, I bought second-hand from a geek guy and I forgot to check whether there is rootato.
The questions that I want to ask are: .......... (and sorry if you are noob)
- Should I switch to Flyme 5? I can directly install the 5.1.6.0G even without root? just copying the update to your phone?
- I will continue to have the Italian language and the play store?
- Otherwise you advise me to just do a factory reset?
Help me, please, otherwise my mother close to me on the corner
Thanks so much.......

so far I've found this thing about ZePhone:
Pros
1. It's not one of those generic Chinese watches, it has it's own designs and builds.
2. I've read somewhere that it's got an update from 4.2 to 4.4. so OEM is actually support this one.
3. It seems mykronoz smart bands and smart watches are not that bad.
4.It has a reliable pedometer sensor.
6. big battery at 500 mah
Cons:
1. There is almost nothing about zephone on the net, even OEM website is so vague about this model.
2. There is no SD card slot and internal memory is just 2.3 GB.
3. It's screen is landscape! I guess it would be better for typing, but I don't know how other apps would look like in landscape mode on such a small resolution.
4. screen seems to be mediocre one. although ht he device itself is more expensive than generic Chinese ones.
5. it's very bulky. with a smaller screen it's bigger than Gear S.
If it's anything like their ZeClock (which I own), it's made in China.

Hi! Anyone know why my zefit3 not sincronize with my hawei p8 lite?
Hello,i want to change my curent phone (Huawei P8 Lite ALE-L21) and i'm intrested in buying the Asus Zenfone 3 ZE520KL with 64gb and 4gb. Would you recomend ? What is good and bad at this phone ? I dont care to much about camera. I just want a decent battery life, good performance in daily use and a decent gaming performance in games like Space Marshals, Space Marshals 2, Xenowerk,Modern Combat 5 and others.
And how about custom roms ? I dont like too much the interface of the ZenUi...
One more questions,i saw that after the model code (ZE520KL) is another code, is that only for the color ?
Something like: 1A010WW -Black
1B011WW -White etc etc...
Thanks for help ! ?
Battery draining
I own this phone and hell if I know what's its problem! It says it has a CPU built on 14nm technology which consumes few energy, but I got tricked. Maybe, it has a faulty Android update, maybe not. I should post this to see if others have this issue. Otherwise, it's a good phone.
I got the the ZE552Kl model (4gb / 64gb / 3000 mAh) and I can tell you that its a really good phone. I'm not a gamer but I have some casual games (Red Bull Bike and Gear Club) I play maybe 2 or 3 hrs and the battery life can last up 15hrs or more.
The camera its pretty good, this is the super moon a few days ago

Besides if you use the phone to hear music with the DAC audio its another level of quality, just stay away from cheap apps (like play music) and buy Poweramp with a decent pairs of headphones.
Hello! I just bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 of 128gb, and when checking on the Xiaomi page to know if it was authentic, it said yes but that it was not the official global version.

When I turn it down it says "Unlocked."
My question is, do I keep the cell phone or do I return it?
I don't know if it has any negative points, something will not work or if it is the same.
When I turned it on I had MIUI 10, and after configuring it I upgrade to MIUI 11 without problems, so I guess it has the official ROM and not a custom or anything weird.
I did benchmarks with AnTuTu and everything matches, the cell phone is original Redmi Note 7, the problem is the software then.
Googleing, apparently some resellers buy the Chinese versions, unlock the bootloader and install the global version, and I think this is the case. But I don't know if it can harm me or not, that's my fear
And I saw in a video on YouTube some guy saying that to unlock the bootloader they have to open the cell phone and make bridges on the board, is that right? because if they open the cell phone and made some changes, I don't really want to keep the phone (I don't know the skills of the one who openned it)
I don't know if it's a simple process like rooting the cellphone, or if they opened the phone and weld things... If its just like Im runing a custom ROM I don't care (I was probably going to root and try some custom ROM in a few months haha)
Hi friends ...!
I have an Alcatel One Touch Pop C7 (7041X) that is still a phone, but with too old software - Android 4.0.2, which not allow install of most the apps who I have interested.
I decided to upgrade it to the above level.
My goal was to achieve optimum functionality of device and durability of the battery.
I tried a lot of variants. Тhe most appealing to me stayed the version CyanogenMod CM12.1_StableEdition_V2. This customROM (Android 5.1.1 (LolliPop)) is perfect in every way except the Multimedia. In my opinion the problem comes from the used decoders and encoders ... or more precisely in their settings ...I read on the Internet and maked a lot of experiments ... but alas with no result ...!
Now will be glad if I eliminate this problem with your help ...!
One quick word about the problem or at least what the most annoys me.
The problem appears when I try to watch TV online with the Da Player app (play streaming video in format *.m3u8). The application itself installs normally, loading the playlist also works, but when playing whoever it is channel, it previews the following (see attachment screen ) without sound.

,
I want to emphasize that on the same phone, but installed Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) - this effect is not observed - the app (Da Player) works fine.
The phone is rotatable and has an MT6582 processor.
I would be really glad if anybody would cooperate ...
Thanks in advance !
Hello XDA Community,
I invested over a year on this project and spent many frustrating hours getting a tablet based OS to perform like a version made for TV's.
This is not a finished product, but I thought some of you may find it useful. I am not a developer and therefore cannot guarantee an issue free experience. I stepped away from the project due to getting stuck in many areas. If anyone with the skills, time and willingness to help help me polish this OS is up to the task...feel free to send me a PM.
Without further delay, I present AvA ROM (Android Video Appliance) for Tinkerboard:
Demo video: AvA ROM - Boot Demo (boot pop-up in video is fixed)
Download: AvA ROM RC1

Things to know:
Based on Android 7.1.2.
Play Store is preinstalled.
Works best with keyboard and mouse.
Plugging in wireless remotes causes severe slowdown (solution = Android TV Remote app).
Shutdown/sleep doesn't work well.
Should run on Tinkerboard S.
Not licensed for Netflix or Disney Plus (most other apps and games work).
Image is 2.46 GB in size (minimum 4GB SD card).
There are workarounds for the above licensing woes, solutions are just a Google search away.
I look forward to hearing some of you got to try it out.
