I have no idea what to do.
I want nexus 6P but I cant buy it, atleast not for European market.
There are offers on ebay but they all come with USA flat pin chargers which is not compatible with electricity we use in Europe
Google doesnt ship to my country (croatia)
Amazon.de, co.uk., .it, etc still dont sell it
Any idea guys?
One of two things
1. Buy an adapter that will convert the american plug to whatever plug is used in your country
2. If the electric voltage is different, USA uses 110Volt and if your country uses 220 volts, then you will have to buy a transformer to break down the 220 volts to 110 volts. i think those are your options.
The US version is different regarding supported LTE bands. I would not import the US version...

Is there any place to purchase the XDAII in the United States. Any companies or contacts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Not yet or at least not that I know of, except a US ebayer.
Closest to US that I know of is Tek N Toys, Canada
Ordered from Germany
I ordered from ppcw.net in germany. Arne treated me very well. His stock is accurate. If he says he's got it he'll ship it. Treated me in an utmost professional manner. I received the phone within 2 weeks. He's a great guy to deal with.
Mike
Actually there is a place in the U.S. which sells them. As of yersturday they had 2 in stock ready for shipping. www.swpwireless.com
mttaro, anyone,
I have a XDA II purchased in Germany, I am soon to travel to the US, will I be able to charge my XDA II using the US voltage? Are there any problems like with travel hairdryers etc
thanks,
you will have no problem the charger is dual voltage 110 and 220 So both north america and Europe. (have a look on it)
You do need a prong adapter, not a voltage changer.
iMate PE (XDA 2) sold in USA
After looking around, I bought my iMate PE from this store - I am very happy with it.
Oops... here is the link to their eBay store...
http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d...rid=mattbwn&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50
I must be missing something, because I was unaware all these cellular or wireless voice providers were compatible with the iMate.
From the eBay Ad:
Alltel, AT&T Wireless, Bell Mobility, Cingular, Nextel, Rogers AT&T, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular
You need GSM with this device. That is not the technology that all these Carriers provide.
I would think that someone with Nextell might be very upset with their purchase.
Hey guys, I have a UK Xoom and the backend of next week I am off to New York for a wedding for a week. I want to take my Xoom with me however I am unsure if I can charge it with my UK power adapter. It's obviously rated for 220-240v will the lesser voltage of the US power supply still charge though my current adapter or will it not work altogether? I have no idea how I am going to charge it if I can't use my UK adapter. :-S

Can't speak for a UK xoom. I got, one from the US and use it in australia.
My charger states 100-240v and I can use mine here or in the US....in fact in many countries, I just need a plug adaptor, not a voltage convertor.
not a problem. just get an adapter.

you can check your local hardware store, or even best buy, etc.

You are quite right, I just asumed it wouldn't work in the US as it was a UK adapter but they do indeed seem to be generic adapters! Mine also states 100-240v, thanks Sickboy.
Hi,
What is the specification of the charger?
I might import this Nexus 7 from UK to The Netherlands.
The power plug is different, and I dont like to use converter.
So, I plan to buy from somewhere else.
Thanks for any info.

Hello everyone
So I have pre-ordered for me and for my sister the 6p.
I have ordered from US Store, and now I see there are us verion and global version.
Anyway, I can see we can use the US version without any problem in here (LTE Band 3)
But I have got another question, can I use my samsung charger to charge it?
Because I have ordered the phone from US, we will get US chargers, and here we use EU chargers.
Yes, any charger will output voltage amps to charge the device.
That said you'll probably need a USB C to USB A adapter cable.

I bought it from US Google Store
Gal, the charger will support Israeli voltage, so you could just use a simple plug adapter. That's what I do
If anyone here lives in Italy or similar or has traveled there with their 6P, I am looking for what phone charger I will need to buy to use while there.

Hello... This is the OEM Euro N6P charger... Only UK uses different models I think. Otherwise you'll be fine in Europe with something like that :good:

I'd pick up a couple EU schuko to US adapters, and your cigarette charger. That's about it. I would buy an external battery before I would buy a dedicated charger. Most modern hotels have a shaver outlet that will also work in a pinch. The only time I had a problem was staying in the old city close to the coliseum in two ancient (but expensive) hotels. They had a 3 prong variant of the schuko. Maybe someone living in Italy can chime in about the prevalence of the "vintage" 3-prong schuko variant. I only saw it twice so I used the bathroom shaver socket. Schuko is the EU standard.

Didn't even think about US/EU adapter! Just... Does US adapter supports 230 volts?
