LG G2 D802 32GB factory reset problem - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I was playing with screen locking and made a mistake. I forgot screen lock pattern. Now I cant use my phone LG G2 D802 32gb. When I turn on phone it always shows options to either type security PIN (which I dont have) or log in with google account (useless, because phone wifi is off).
I tried to factory reset (hard reset) with no luck. I always end up with security PIN/google accoutn screen. I tried also VOL+ and USB trick... no luck. PC doesnt recognise phone.
Any help?

[Q] Nexus 4 Blank Screen After 4.2.2 Update

Hi There,
Shortly after updating my Nexus 4 to 4.2.2 OTA today the screen went blank and I've been unable to get it to function correctly again.
The phone is still showing some signs of life, I am getting notification LEDs and I am unable to unlock the phone with facial recognition even though the screen remains blank - I can tell from the vibration and the LED stopping that it has unlocked. Pressing the power button to lock it starts the notification LED again.
I have tried a hard boot (Volume Down + Power) and the screen did come on to display the google logo followed by the X but as soon as they had been shown it returned to a blank screen.
Does anybody have any ideas of what this could be or how to solve it or should I contact Google in regards to this issue?
Thanks in advance for any help
seems like the OTA update has corrupted somewhere. You should reboot into bootloader and use fastboot to flash the stock 4.2.2
Is there anything else worth trying before doing that? I wouldn't have a clue where to start as this is my first android device
Ok so I got it working but did lose all my data. If anyone else comes across this issue I had to boot into recovery mode and do a full wipe/factory reset. The first time i did this the phone started up with no problems but during configuration when I entered my Google account the blank screen strangely returned so I again did a full wipe in recovery mode, skipped the 'set-up google account' step and then entered it manually later in settings once the device had started up.
No idea what caused this and if its a bug in 4.2.2 or an issue with some settings in my google account that are being backed up and restored to the phone but either way I had no problems until 4.2.2 update installed and the issue occuring even after first data wipe rules out any third party apps being the cause.
I had a similar problem after updaing that the screen stay blank and it wo'nt unlock
As soon as i disable the bluetooth the problem solved.
It's happened when i paired it with my pc

LG G2 D802 shutting off on booting

Hello there.I have an LG G2 D802 16GB version and after i replaced my cracked screen with a new one my phone has a major problem. The problem is this: despite the LG logo being displayed, when the phone tries to go to the home screen the following message appears"Device will turn off".Of course after this message is displayed the phone turns off.I made a factory data reset thinking it would solve it,but no it did not.Now despite the fact i lost all of my data, the phone keeps displaying the message when the welcome logo appears as it has been now factory reseted. I have never rooted the ROM or installed anything else, and was using android 4.4.2 before that problem occurred. Also i cannot enter recovery mode, download mode.I tried connecting it to my PC but it did not appear anywhere on the device manager, plus the LG logo was lagging when the phone was connected to the PC.I had sent the phone to a technician(Not a LG official,he just has a shop where he fixes various phones)and he told me that i possibly damaged the motherboard during the new LCD screen installation, which i doubt as i was EXTREMELY careful.I have searched everywhere on the internet(trust me i did)and i haven't come up with a solution yet.The phone was bought in Greece on summer of 2014 so it's not locked to any network(Verizon,sprint,t-mobile,etc...)

Factory Reset Stops in the middle: LG G2 stuck in bootloop and can't reset

I have an LG G2 stuck in a bootloop. I've tried doing a factory reset but the process stops in the middle and the bootloop restarts. A few times I've been able to get the phone to work for a few seconds before it restarts itself into a bootloop. I've tried uninstalling apps, changing settings other users suggested for similar issues (such as the default keyboard), and disconnecting my google account (another suggested solution). I haven't been able to get my phone to go into download mode so I haven't tried any flashing approaches and don't think I'll be able to. Any suggestion on how to get the hard reset to work?
What did you do to the phone that caused this to happen?
If you never did anything nasty to it, then I guess it is a hardware defect. Maybe the cooling of the main chip doesn't work so it overheats.

My LG G6 is in a secure screen loop.

So today i bought my LG G6.
There was a software update (i thing Oreo update) i installed it and when i got to the secure screen on the boot.
I type my PIN ,which was valid and my phone now is stuck on the secure loading screen.
At first i thought it was just going to take some time but after 25 minutes of waiting this started to worry me.
The phone is still on loop and when i use the Power Button and the Vol down the phone restarts but the same thing happens.
I tried everything from restarting it , to hard resetting (which doesn't want to work, the bootloader menu doesn't even show up with all the steps completed correctly) to throwing it on the ground.
(PHONE IS NOT ROOTED)
EDIT:I MANAGED TO SOLVE THE ISSUE BUT NOW IM STUCK AT THE PROVIDERS SCREEN WHICH IS (TIM) AND I CANNOT DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN SOFT RESTART
Regards,
Try put the phone into download mode and use LG bridge to reflash stock [Use the "Update error recovery" to reflash]
