Hi there,
I am somewhat new to Android and I find it incredibly difficult to find any Custom ROMS for my device.
I have a Samsung Note 4 N910-H variant.
I am looking for some 5.1.1 TouchWiz based ROMS for my device.
Cannot find many anywhere.
Anyone have some suggestions, a list or can help?
Thanks!

I dont understand what I am looking at when I go to that link, its chaos. That doesn't look like a forum to me...

Hello, lately I've been trying to find an aosp/cm/GE rom that would suit my needs, and I literally know every one out here, but my question is,what is the actual difference between the aosp/cm and the GE roms ? I do really want to move from this awful TW firmwares to the stock android look and feel So,if anyone can help me and guide me,well, that would be really nice:victory:
any pros/cons are also useful
Thanks
anyone,please?
I'm starting to really hate TouchWiz and I want to install CyanogenMod. Problem is, I can't find the ROM or tutorials for the G900H variant (could only find for G900F). Is there anyway to get CyanogenMod on my phone?
If possible, would anyone link me to the ROM? I can't tell which is for which.
No way yet.
I found the one touchwiz based Rom and that's cool. I will try that one. But are there any cm based Roms that are known to be compatible? I've tried to search and didn't find definitive answers hence this post. Thanks
Hey all,
I've been looking for a while now but I'm not having much luck. From what I have seen, both Slimrom and Liquidsmooth dev's have either stopped/have not creating/created their respective roms for the Galaxy S5 klte. I managed to find an unofficial LS KitKat 4.4 rom for my S5 a while back now (maybe 8-10 months give or take), but its a tad unstable and buggy. However, I have not been able to find any roms like it thus far. Carbon ROM seemed like it may have potential, but again I could not find a KitKat variant for my S5.
So I am asking the community. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a light weight, clean, stable and smooth KitKat 4.4.x ROM that has similar features to LS and/or Slimkat?
I am still continuing my search. Hoping some one here has some suggestions that I could give a try.
P.S. Sorry if this has been asked already. I'm looking in XDA but haven't found any threads related to my question. If there is one, my bad. Still looking through the forum...
Thanks as always!
Hey XDA, I've been reading through the forums on threads regarding Galaxy A5 SM-A510F (2016)
There are some threads gathering up roms but as this is my first time, apart from messing up a locked S2, I would appreciate some pointers as to the most acknowledged and thoroughly made roms. I'm rooting to see if this phones CPU can be used better than how Android 6 Marshmallow currently is.
I have read countless rom flashing guides and am pretty certain i am able to successfully flash stuff onto my phone, what i need to know is which roms to go for.
I appreciate any comments what so ever, cheers!
Welcome to XDA! There aren't really any roms for the a510f unfortunately. The only ROMs seem to be deodexed rooted touchwiz ROMs. Here's a list of them: http://forum.xda-developers.com/sam...s-samsung-a5-2016-thread-knowed-roms-t3474745
No cm or aosp for your phone yet.

Hey @arathergreendoid, thank you for your reply!
I think i have mixed up some stuff, i hope you can clarify.
I have stumbled upon something called CF-auto-root. Now after reading through that im a bit confused.
Is a ROM necesarry for rooting a phone? It seems to me ROMs re vamp phones in different ways, but that with auto root, it stays with the same system but rooted.
Thanks
Thats right. You don't have to install a custom ROM after rooting. You'll still be on Samsung's stock skin, but you can install xposed etc to get quite a few features of custom ROMs.
