Hello guys, Is there anyone here want a development thread for this Device? Lenovo A1000. It is quit a good phone thou. Here are the specs:

the reason whay I'm asking for someone to start a support for this device is that, I'm having a hard time looking for roms, recoveries, etc. for this phone but I already rooted this device via Kingroot app. Thanks XDA

The thread in the link that I gave you in the private message is not mine.I found it during my search in the internet.It`s very helpfull for our Lenovo A1000 the smartphone, as it contains all official Roms(with latest updates) , multiple custom Roms,Patches and new modems.
But the only problem is that this thread is in Russian.Can I put the link here?

Well that's fine because we can use google translate to understand that thread. Yes you can post it here but I suggest that you create a new post and put a proper title so that others can find it as well

Here is a partially working CM 13 for this phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/development/cyanogenmod-13-samsung-galaxy-core-plus-t3478134
Only SD Card and Internet need to be fixed
(The work on CM 12.1 was discontinued due to performance bugs, etc.)
There are no other Android 5/6 ROMs out there for this Phone
Please use the search feature next time

Android O custom roms for Moto G4 Plus

Since google has released the necessary codes of android o, and a few unofficial builds for specific devices has shown up on our XDA Forum, if developers could port android o to our device, we would be very glad.

There's devs working on them. Just be patient.

I don't think that Oreo itself will resolve this issue cause it's a hardware problem. See device forum. You need to replace your screen with a specific type of screen.

So, it is screen issue or hardware ? No software?

After browsing the Chinese MIUI forum, I found the link for the 9.2.3.0 update for our beloved Mi6

The firmware is Chinese
So only English and Chinese

Our team is developing some neat tools for this device, our programs and tools are not GPL'd and NOT open source.
We are developing a full device tree in this process so we are building some recoveries and such to test,
much of this will be part of our end GOAL/Development project.
But in the mean time, If you have ANY variant of the Moto E6 and would like to help further development for the device,
you may join us in our Telegram Group.
There's a few rules:
don't tell us how to run our test program
don't try to take charge leave it to a moderator
dont repost/ publish our work anywhere including google drive or xda
and dont start arguments about licencing/gpl or any other frivolous/fluff stuff
everyone gets the mention in the credits at the end when it all gets pushed to Github...
if you can handle that and you want to see what we have going on...

I own a Moto e6s (XT2053-1) and would happily test whatever you throw at me.
However, I have found no way to unlock the bootloader yet.

Here is what I did:
enabled USB-Debugging and OEM-unlocking
from the dialog of AIO-toolkit chose "Unlock bootloader"
device boots into fastboot
resulting message:
Code:
FAILED (remote: ’unknown command’)
fastboot: error: Command failed
Bootloader Unlocked!!
Rebooting to Android
Rebooting into bootloader
[...]
The bootloader is still locked.
Anything I could do?

The E6s runs on a different SOC compared to the E6 (former is Mediatek Helio P22, later is Snapdragon 435), so you wouldn't be able to use this recovery anyway.

That would be true if different soc.
Mine is the snapdragon 435.
So this will not be compatible with the e6s.
Being mediatek,
Did u try mtk-su?
Works for some mtk stuff

I tried mtk-su, both the app- and the adb-solution - unfortunately neither of them did work.
