Due to the previous index thread no longer being updated, I decided to continue the good work and have been given the go ahead. As the index threads are one of the most sought after and referenced threads in the device forums, I figured it would be a shame to let it go to waste when it can continue to help out a lot of our members - new or old!
Now, before getting into the main part of this thread, let's go over a couple of things.
* If I've missed out any threads or if you feel a thread should be added, please be sure to either post a comment or send me a PM to let me know. The more we all work together, the better this valuable resource can become.
* There's a Thanks button on XDA for a reason so be sure to use it. Any comments simply saying thanks will certainly be removed!

Below is a list of the different custom ROMs available from the Nexus 6 development forums. These ROMs have been created by other members to give you a modified experience for your phone, rather than simply sticking to stock Google. Whether it's a minimal ROM or a ROM with vast cosmetic and performance changes or anywhere in between, they've all put the hard work in so it's only right that we all respect that. *NOTE* In the event of a ROM having a main version on Lollipop but a beta version on Marshmallow, it will be listed under Marshmallow. Yeah I know but as that doesn't include the ROMs, kernels etc., which is what most people visit an index thread for, I figured I'd make this as the previous one was well out of date and it appears the OP has moved onto a new device.
At least, if all else fails, it makes it easier for me to find things

guys i have unlock bootloaders but not rooted, can i install first custome recovery before rooting? or should i follow the beginners guide which is to unlock bootloader, root and instal custom recovery????

custom recovery first.. since most of the custom roms require a custom recovery like twrp

[UPDATED][INDEX][REPO][AIO] HTC ONE (M8) - ROMs | Kernels | MODs | Recoveries

Hello community! Welcome to the Repository of ROMs, kernels, guides etc. of the HTC One m8 Android Development Forum.
First of all, not all ROMs will be included in this thread. If a thread hasn't had any posts for 2 months (subject to change dependant on how active the M8 forum remains), it won't be included in this list. If a thread gets added to the list and then reaches 2 months of inactivity, I'll simply write "Inactive" next to its listing.
Also, just so you all know that there's no bias involved due to the order in which I list the ROMs, when I make the first thread update, I'll be adding them to the list in the order that I see them. So the first ROM I see will be at the top of the list. When I make subsequent updates, the ROMs that have had the most recent updates will be at the top of the list.
Now, there's just a couple of notes I'd like you all to be aware of before getting into this index.
About ROMs/kernels/recoveries etc.
*Whichever ROM/kernel/recovery you decide to use is up to you but be sure to always read the first posts of the development thread before flashing or reporting an issue. All the most important information will be included in those first posts!
*Also be sure to search in the development thread before asking a question there (or in the Q&A thread, if applicable). This is a forum rule but is also really annoying to have to read posts asking something which has already been answered numerous times.
*Keep posts on topic. A little bit of off topic posting is fine, unless the developer doesn't want any off topic posts, but don't get too carried away. If it gets too out of hand then posts will be cleaned up. After all, we already have a whole forum which is dedicated to Off-Topic.
About this index
*If, after I've done any update, you notice that I've got some information wrong or have missed something out, please let me know. I'm only human and will, of course, make mistakes from time to time. You can let me know by either posting in this thread or by sending me a PM. Once I see your post or PM, I'll make the relevant changes.

NOTE: The last Apolo kernel working on lollipop 5.1 roms was Apolo 8.0 Beta 9. Development was stopped on Apolo kernel. Gustavo Kernel has not been updated for a while, so it doesn't support lollipop 5.1. DorimanX and gustavo kernel has been updated by Lysergic Acid and myself to support latest CM12.1 ROMs, but lack support of other ROMs currently.

hi! i'm a newbie trying something new with my phone without understanding everything so i'm hoping you can help me... im using samsung galaxy s2 gt i9100 and i installed cyanogenmod 11.0.. my phone is working fine but it seems i can't root it so i'm planning to change it's ROM and i found your thread. can you recommend a stable rom for my phone? and the right kernel for it? also if you can include a guide on how to install all of it in my phone would be great. thank you in advance!

Sorry if my question is strange, but is there any method to swap between internal and external SD Card for CM12.1 (LP)..
like we have on i9100-KK (CM11).. Ex: Using script placed on init.d or whatever that possible??

hey guys need a little help can install cm12.1 for i9100 and run it but as soon as I turn phone off and back on it gets stuck at boot screen bear in mind I've already booted the phone into the ROM once any suggestions?

I recomand using 5. [ROM][5.1.1][WIP][LOLLIPOP][i9100]RESURRECTION REMIX LP [CM12.1] or 4. [ROM][5.1.1] [DIRTY-UNICORNS] [Unofficial-Builds] [OTA] or 3. [ROM][5.1.1] SlimLP [UBER 4.9][UNOFFICIAL] ... this rom's i have tried and all works great...

im out because i had an emergency . my son was hospitalized. ill be back in the next few hours. unfortunately no pc access in the past few days and data speed is unbelievably slow.....

I decided not to include ALL of the 4.x.x ROMs as a lot are outdated. If you feel that any 4.x.x ROMs which are final and stable should be included please post in this thread I will include it.
Same goes for other way around. If you feel some of these ROMs are not supported anymore but still have a lot of bugs please tell me as I did not really pay attention to the content, I just took the first few 4.x.x ROMs and put it here.

Hi, was wondering if you could help me... I was testing the Resurrection rom (6.0.1) on my N7105 (was on TW 4.4.2) but decided to go back to TW, so restored from my nandroid backup. I then realized that now my GPS is not locking on to any satellite. I have been searching xda and googling for fix but have not been successful. Do you have any idea? The rest of the phone is working fine (eg. Wifi, 4g network etc )except for gps .
Appreciate if you could help .

I see you're my neighbour over at M'Sia... Morning! And no problem, hope I helped.

Hmmmm.... it's the service mode method which I have tried but does not work for me, giving me binary error when i tried. Might have to go the hard way by going back full stock TW via Odin... crap...

I've the same problem with GPS when I flash KK stock roms. No problem with MM. Let me know if you have a solution
