Just recently gone back to official Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505 4.3 Firmware. I've checked on updates to see if 4.4.2 was available. It doesn't look like it is for me, can anyone give me any input or anything if it is available.

Is ur phone branded? What is your CSC (country CODE)?
Before I started modding this phone, it came with a 3 (carrier) bootloader. I'm not sure what you meant with US - it's a familiar word I think I've seen it on Odin. But when I had been given the firmware for 4.3 UEMI8 it all said UEMI8 on the files before I flashed official firmware.

That's a problem because Sam Mobile doesn't have I9505XXUEMI8 Firmware. I have checked every single region to try and find it but no UEMI8 firmware.

I9505XXUEMI8 is leak Firmware
flash firmware for your region
you do not remember of the region was the firmware of your phone from the beginning
you were not with him
(possible if you bought your phone second hand was with him)
and if it is irrelevant to you just flash some official firmware and OTA updates will work
Hey I made a mistake in one of the posts. I said I had a 3 carrier boot loader. What I meant is when you boot up your phone I used to get the 3 boot animation. My phones bootloader is unlocked BTW.

Your firmware is not official
It is a leaked firmware. Download official firmware of your nearest region and flash it.
Where do you live and which carrier do you use?

Uemi8 or any such number is not a type of ROM. They are a specific rom and are different for each region and each version of ROM.

So would my region code thingy change? What would happen if it failed?
BTW sammobile uses Terafile which is damn slow at times my download fails and gets stuck at 0kbps - eventhough I have like 60mb download. So there servers suck.

I did a nandroid backup after I just rooted my phone. So now I am running a custom rom and I decided to go back to stock android. So I flash the nandriod backup and it rebooted with no problems. But when I unlock the fone it said unfortunately Gapps have stop working and these pop-ups are coming up like every 2 seconds. So I just decided to wipe and factory reset my phone. So I did when it was finish I went through the process of setting up my phone and when I download Instagram the app keep crashing like I would be on it for like 2 mins and a pop-up would come up saying unfortunately Instagram has stop working. It even says it when I tried to post a picture. And when I download whatsapp also and i try to change my profile picture it keeps crashing.
I think it's something with the play store or something. Please help

Not exactly, but I can imagine that Samsung will skip the 4.4.4 update and directly go to 5.0
