upgraded to LP 5.0 OTA before first root and install Aurora Rom based on Lollipop...
i want to Downgrade to KitKat 4.4.2 official on my Note3 N900 model.
can i just download official firmware and flash with Odin or any other method should i take care of that??? any guide?
I think you can, not 100% sure, but when those early Lollipop firmwares were released by Samsung I went back to KitKat quite a lot of times.

Be sure to enter DL mode from Phone OFF not just a reboot into Download... The difference is, from reboot the modem fails.

@gtuck1002 As mentioned by "xinfinityoO", Android 4.4.4 is not yet out for Galaxy note 3 global version like N9005 and N900.
but its available for N900P, Here is the Url for 4.4.4 firmware.
SAMSUNG OFFICIAL FIRMWARE LINK FOR SM-N900P
And you are not able to update because You have installed Custom recovery "twrp" so your knox counter might have been triggered to 0x1, and device status changed to "Custom". That's the reason your cellphone won't get updated.
So if you want to update to 4.4.4 then jus download the firmware and install through ODIN. But you will lose your root if you update to 4.4.4.
Thanks.

Sorry for the newbie question i am using samsung s4 from o2 uk and have their 4.4.2 version, i am unlocked now so can downgrade or upgrade to BTU unbranded 4.4.2 versions of which there appears to be 4 available in sammobile.
I understand that there is a new bootloader in 4.4.2 so am i able to upgrade /downgrade to any of the stock 4.4.2 firmwares without tripping knox or losing my imei?
I know to my annoyance that the new bootloader efs v2 in 4.1.2 xxemg4 for the samsung s3 prevented me to downgrade to any of the previous 4.1.2 stock roms due to this much to my annoyance as the battery life was superb on xxemc2 4.1.2 so i don't want to make the same mistake with 4.4.2, does anyonr know if there is another bootloader version in the latest 4.4.2 stock rom that may cause a similar issue?
Bear in mind i only want to be able to up down grade to any of the 4.4.2 that is available not go to 4.3 or up to 5.0 as far as you're aware are all versions of 4.4.2 BTU ok to flash in odin without issues?
no downgrade from kitkat

I dont think you follow what I mean I dont want to downgrade from 4.4.2 per se I just want to use the other stock versions of 4.4.2 kitkat that have been released. Am I unable to downgrade from a higher version of kitkat to a lower previous version of kitkat that was avaialble a month before?
Same BTU stock version ie ugn9 down to ufn8 or something

Yes as long as you are downloading the correct firmware for your phone based on model number you will be able to downgrade. Just use Odin and you should be set.
You can flash any 4.4.2. The different versions don't matter.
Are you 100% sure i can up or downgrade to any of the 4.4.2 versions?
I dont want to make a mistake like i did with my s3 whereby i updated to 4.1.2 xxemg4 the latest version of 4.1.2 available but had an efs v2 so was unable to downgrade to any of the 4.1.2 versions below it.
4.4.2 kikat has a new bootloader but they all have the same efs version right? Thanks for the help

i have SM-N9005 so search a guess u will find one
I'm on L21 n900 Dr. Ketan rom it works like charm
The lollipop bootloader can run 4.4.2 ROMS , u do not need to change anything
And if your CWM flashed lollipop correctly , then u do not need Odin at all
I just updated my phone from official stock Rom 5.0.1 rooted to 5.1.1. Now how to root this version ?
there is no root for 5.1.1 firmware yet
you might consider installing custom 5.1.1 roms availables here, that comes pre-rooted
than how to install custom rom
