Hi there,
I recently bought a Note 3 with Asian software (sm-N9006). But I live in Europe. I tried to flash the European stock rom
but it constantly failed. The device is already rooted, but I cant manage to install another Stock ROM with Odin.
So what i want to know is:
1. is it even possible?
2. how to?
3. Are there other options?
I really hope someone can help me out!
thanks in advance
Hi im a bit of a noob when it comes too this flashing business but i managed to update my i9505 to lollipop using odin and the official stock rom but the problem i have now is my network signal is now terrible where it was good before is ther anyway that a noob like me can fix this issue? Im in uk on giffgaff (o2)
i have never rooted my s4 before and if some one has a noob guide for rooting from lollipop so i can custom rom it up i might give that a look too, I wouldnt mind a nice slim custom rom with a few extra tweeks and without all the google and samsung rubbish that comes standard..
Thanks
P.s sorry for all the questions and sorry if this is in the wrong section
The signal problem is probably caused by the modem.
You have to flash the latest modem for your phone, country and carrier.
If you already are on the latest modem then a lollipop modem might help.
Here you can find a guide on how to root lollipop.
If you want a slim rom you better try CM12 or GPE. If you like touchwiz then look for a touchwiz based lollipop rom around the forum.

Is your phone branded or unlocked? Coz this is very important. UK(O2) still without lollipop update. This is the possible reason that you are receiving weak network signal.

hi. i got this N910F. its good and works fine. only issue is it sometimes starts acting weird like Error 491 from google playstore and sometimes wifi starts downloading very very slow. im 100% sure its software issue. i just got this device today. i was advised by one member here to change the stock rom. i dont want to go for lollipop.
first i want to see how it performs on Kitkat. im attaching a screenshot of the firmwares.
although, its an international model, can someone help me and tell that can i install ANY 910F stock firmware on it? also i see the device is already rooted. it does not have any logo on it or any bloatware in it other than only 2 O2 Germany apps.
can i install only German O2 VIA CSC stock roms or any rom for N910F? i will be grateful for your help im noon in this regard.
thanks
hi, does anyone know or can provide me a guide on how to flash my note 4 to its stock firmware. im a newbie thats why im here asking for help.. hehe.. I have a samsung note 4 with a model number SM-N901F. I live in the UK and on three mobile network. I've been waiting for the marshmallow update and it hasn't been release by three mobile so im hoping flash my phone to its samsung stock firmware I might be able to update to marshmallow. is that possible? if anyone has an idea please help me. thanks.
Firstly marshmellow for UK N910F hasn't been released yet, well the BTU, unlocked version. Fortunately you can install the German DBT Rom or the Rom posted by Steve Pritchard, here on XDA forums. Use Odin to flash firmware, plenty of tutorials if you use the search function.
Sent from my SM-N910F using XDA-Developers mobile app
Thanks for the quick reply. I'm such a newbie that i tried searching for the DBT rom that you meant and i still can't find it. Sorry. A link will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
