Need for Speed No Limits - Nexus 7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone get this game working on Nexus 7 2012? I can run it on all my phones and even the $50 Amazon Fire but can't get it to work on my Nexus 7 2012.

My theroy about the 5 nexus devices rumor

rumors have been going on about the 5 nexus devices to be released this year as Google io is done the nexus Q is 1 Nexus 7 is 2 and there are rumor of a nexus 10 device which could be 3 and 4 is the next nexus device and 5 could be their own branded Google Tv
I'm wondering whether Google will release a Nexus phone this year as in November, the galaxy nexus will have been out for a year...
Sent from my Nexus S
figure 1 phone and possibly another Tablet, who knows about the last. It's a shame the NexusQ isn't a GoogleTv device but no reason it couldn't be upgraded to one in the future.
I think it may go something like this (slight modification to your idea):
Nexus Q
Nexus Tablet 7in
Nexus Tablet 10in
New Nexus Device $500-$600 - This is the device to rule all devices
GNex Reduced to around $249-$299 - This will allow for a budget friendly, unlocked and powerful device for people who do not want to drop the big bucks for the new device (see above)
If this was the case I would grab the Gnex for my wife and the New device for myself!!
10inch tab is a must

I'm going to have to disagree, the Xoom still fits that area pretty well (especially since it just got JB) and the Nexus 7 owes most of it's success to it's price point (which I doubt a 10 inch version could come close to since it would need a higher resolution than 1280x800).
Is there the possibility for a 8.1 inch Nexus 7? This should keep the price still lower than $500. Perhaps $300, and a really good size-neither big nor small.

It doesn't make sense to release a new device for 1.1 more inches of screen size.
I personally don't want a nexus 10 but to be different I suggest nexus 9 i have had 3 10 inches tablets (HP touchpad, Motorola xoom , and Samsung galaxy tab 10.1, ) and the bn nook color along with a iPad 3 (mywifes) and I have to say.... when I went to best buy to check out Samsung's 8.9 it was just the right size .... didn't get one because just don't have the money .... so nexus 9 FTW!

Sorry for the miss. What I meant was 8.9 inches like the Samsung galaxy.

Should i get Nexus 7

Well i had made a "should i get tf700" in the other part of the forum, learnt that its slow , Apps appear blurry etc.
So is nexus 7 a great buy?
I'm thinking of getting the rumored 32 Gigs, But i don't think that might be enough.
So does this nexus 7 support OTG, Like i can connect my HDD(Which has most the movies i have)
Yes.

Okay OTG WORKS(For connecting my HDD,Pen drive) ?
AFAIK it works just fine.
There is a lot of talk about it in threads scattered around the forum.
Search for nexus 7 OTG and see what you find, personally I haven't used it.

You're lucky you can have the option for 32GB one(will come any day now). All of us here are stuck with 8/16GB. Though yeah we can use USB OTG for extra storage and peripheral connection. Just unlock and root and you're good to go.

Okay..so mostly i'll go for this or tf700 whichever turns out to be better.
I'll check out how nexus 7 is when it officialy releases in India next month.
But will be getting it from usa, as it will surelly be way overpriced.
Say atleast 17000(around 310$)
The Nexus 7 is great, but so is the tf700. I chose the N7 for the screen size and price, but it was a hard decision. Now I sort of regret it because of the 32gb N7 that's coming out...

Get the Nexus 10 if you are going for higher quality. Wait till Monday, but the Nexus 10 might not come out that day. The 32GB will be out Monday though.

Agree.
but all app's are made for 720P.
And itseems they appear blurred/pixelated in 1080p tablets like TF700
The infinity is actually 1920x1200. Idk I had it for a day and took it back and kept my Nexus 7 it was too big and bulky for my needs. But I would go with the Nexus 7 or 10. The infinity is a awesome tablet though. It just depends on what you are going to use it for.

But if nexus 10 does come out you can assure that tablet specfic apps will be made .
Anyone know the price range the nexus 10 might cost. Even a guess?

Maybe 300-400

I feel nexus 10 seein the specs anything more than 450$
But Google wants to be competitive price rise. If it's the same price as the iPad 4, people will go for Apple

Guys i need advice on which to buy nexus 4 or 10?

I have 2 options atm
1) buy 4 now and wait next year for the new nexus 10 2.0 to come out.
2) buy 10 now and wait next year for nexus 5.
Do you guys think the hardware for the nexus 5 will be as good as the 10 is currently?
Buy a 10€ iPhone today and wait for nexus 10 to arrive. I am shure IT will be hardware superior.

Your comparing a tablet to a phone. It should depend on which one you need more.

That's good, because now my mom wants a Nexus tablet.
If you want a nexus tablet, buy one now. Don't wait 6 months. If you're going to wait that long for the next best thing, you'll always be disappointed in the end.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
Yeah there's no point in trying to keep up with technology. You will ALWAYS lose that race. If you want a Nexus 7 buy one now and worry about the new one whenever that time comes. Sumthin bigger and better is always around the corner.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
Enjoy your device... New models will always come. I sell it and buy new one or give previous model as gift to my relatives.
Since the N7 is pretty cheap anyway you could use it for 6 months and even if you sell it for half price you will still have got 6 months of use out of it so why wait?

in some digital magazines i have seen information about another model nexus 7 but with more processor, more RAM, more power
Do you guys think that google is gonna stick with ASUS for the next nexus 7?:silly:
Maybe, within the next i/o 2013, nexus 7 with tegra 4 could break cover. Hah...

Is "flo" the codename?
I am trying to get some ROMs going on for this as I might buy one Wed but I am still confused as to what the device codename is.
I will search around some more though I guess.
I started to create a thread on this last night but figured I'd wait for someone else to do it. To make it easy on deciding, gather as many opinions on the official nickname as possible and after a pre determined count, take the average and hopefully enough people will recognize it as the 'nickname'.
My vote Nexus 7.2 (N7.2)

No, Nakasi (Wifi) & Nakasig (3G) are for the previous version of Nexus 7.
And if you go to the Google Git, you will see that the nickname is FLO => Google Git = android / device/asus/flo

Thank you! I just get weary relying on Google results, and prefer confirmation.
Last time I bought a device I just googled it and thought I was going to get a "Sunfire" (Photon 4G) but ended up with a "Asanti" (Photon Q LTE)...
Nexus 7 B
"My Next Device"
Yeah, who knows. I'd prefer a better naming convention. I'm sticking with Nexus 7 (2013).
I can see some confusing coming from this, especially when people start looking for accessories. I already read a Best Buy review where the guy mention how much his daughter loved the tablet he got her, but the hers doesn't have a rear camera.
Google's Support website refers to it as the "Nexus 7 (2013)" while last year's model is referred to as "Nexus 7 (2012)". For the moment, this convention seems reasonable, but I think calling it "Nexus 7 (2nd generation)" or "Nexus 7 flo" is equally clear.

I assumed it was, "Full HD", because of the 1080P display (1920 x 1200).
