Galaxy S5 Mini 5.1.1 port to Galaxy S3 neo - Galaxy S3 Neo Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi everyone, this month the Galaxy S5 mini got his 5.1.1 update, so i wonder if someone can port it to our Galaxy s3 neo since these two smartphones are similar.

There's a Galaxy Grand 2 developer working in a port of this rom for his phone. If the port works, it could be ported to all variants of the GS3 Neo so we have to wait.

oh great news, i hope he can port it!! but maybe a dev here can port it directly to our GS3 Neo. i don't know if it's possible or not.

Could this be ported to the original s3 i9300?

we need a dev to tell us if it's possible, because the Galaxy S5 mini is similar to the GS3 and GS3 Neo.

In fact it's possible, because the SGS5 Mini has the same specs than the S3 Neo, even the same hardware

It could be so difficult, I think, because the common S3 has an Exynos CPU and the S5 Mini has a Qualcomm one.

still no S5 mini 5.1.1 port?

Hi, I can't help, sorry. But I am curious as to why you would want to do this?
No. Because because an OEM jellybean ROM was never made for them, hence no base ROM to get jellybean drivers from.
