Problem with installing TWRP - Redmi Note 2 General

My phone came with version 66.77.... (MIUI 6) from the reseller.
I have installed TWRP, rooted the device using adb and then flashed 5.9.24. So far so good.
After some time i decided to try AOSP ROM. I made a backup in TWRP and then flashed AOSP using TWRP. No problems so far (cleared cache, dalvik etc)
Then I wanted to revert back to 5.9.24. I cleared cache dalvik etc, and then I cannot remember anymore if i have reflashed 5.9.24 or restored the backup made previously from TWRP, the thing I wasn't able to boot into recovery anymore. The phone was stuck on the teamwin logo if booted into recovery but normal boot was working fine.
Then i reflashed twrp using adb.
After doing that, my phone was still stuck on the teamwin logo when booting into recovery, but with normal booting i was getting infinite boot loops at Mi logo screen.
After several ours of tries, i was able to solve the normal booting problem by flashing the stock recovery (so the phone is now back on the 5.9.24 - and working fine) but when I try to flash twrp using adb the same symptoms as before:
- Recovery boot - stuck on teamwin logo screen
- Normal boot - boot loops
I already tried to flash via Updater app, Flashify and Windroid nothing worked.
Can anyone help me to get this custom recovery working, please?
Thanks
Regards,
Nick

i saw the request of the message but i am not using a custom recovery on my phone,i use a custom dev rom made by miui france.
i think some china dev rom comes rooted by default with custom installer updater and gapps like mine.
i think twrp is not fully compatible with this device yet.

Have you try with sp flash tool method ?

I just installed TWRP for the first time ever. I used the Flashify App from the Play Store, installed it and gave it root permissions and just selected the TWRP image on the phones internal store. Seemed to work just fine and did not have to plug my phone into a computer

Unable to boot into recovery (lollipop i9505)

I have TWRP installed and I booted into recovery, backed up my rom and everything was fine. A few minutes later I tried booting into TWRP again but it only rebooted the phone. It shows booting recovery above the Samsung logo then reboots the phone. I used apps like quick boot but yet still reboots the phone
Have you tried turning it off and then booting into recovery with the key combo?

Yup, reboots back
Try reflashing recovery. Or flash a different version.

Did you root it at first ? If not do so ,i also had that issue and was solved by rooting, normally root is not required for Flashing TWRP but still...
The same problem... I think the rom issue
Flash the latest stock ROM and try to enter recovery.

TWRP recover unresponsive after OTA update

I'm running Optimized CyanogenMod 12.1 rom from the Jflte DevConnection Team.
After trying to flash the last OTA update for the rom my TWRP recovery has become unresponsive, stuck on its boot screen (TWRP logo).
What happen was that I downloaded the update via the OTA app and then pressed the Install button to reboot the device and flash the update.
But after the device booted into the recovery TWRP never opened up a process window or its menu but just stayed on the boot screen appearing to do nothing. It did not respond to any commands (buttons or touch). I waited half an hour before forcing a shot down.
But at this point I was in a manual boot loop, the device would boot into recovery instead of the Rom and I was unable to use the phone.
I managed to flash TWRP again using Heimdall which allowed me to boot again into the Rom, but if I tried manually going into recovery it was still unresponsive.
I tried flashing older version of TWRP using Flashy app, I clicked on a option in the app to reboot into recovery. This cost the origin boot loop problem again.
I than flashed CyanogenMod Recovery and was able to boot into that.
Tried once more to flash TWRP but the problem persists.
Anybody that could know what is going on or how to fix this issue. I'm hoping not to have to format the phone to Stock to fix this.
I had same issue with TWRP in the past and never found a solution, to run into the ROM directly and escape the loop thing try
Power Button and volume -
Then continue and it will boot up normally.
I had to change to Clockwork-mod recovery after this.

All I could find was recovery for I9305, is that one you ment? I tried it out but was not able to reboot into that.
But I tried now using the dd to flashed version 2.8.4 and got it to work finally.
dd if=/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p21
Found this option on the TWRP page for I9505

One Plus two not Loading Recovery Mode (stuck on Logo)

Hi, I need help in installing Recovery.
I unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP and then CyanogenMod 13 ROM.
After this, Oxygen Os 3 got released. I downloaded the zip file and flashed through TWRP.
Oxygen OS got installed but after this, I couldn't go back in TWRP recovery.
I tried everything. I use "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img"
everything works
but when I boot in recovery, phone gets stuck on the LOGO and nothing happens.
Is there any way to solve this issue.
Almost the same for me.
When I flash oOS 3.0.2, unable to reboot using Grarak'sTWRP or TWRP-3.0.2-1.
Always stuck on boot logo without animation.
I reverted to old TWRP and oOS 2.2.1

Try to install OOS recovery or Hybrid recovery.
Nobody ever learns or reads nowadays....
Read up on bootloader versions on Oneplus 2 and you will find the explanation perfectly understandable.
Thank You So much for your help. Finally it worked but I lost my data! Anyways, no issues.
Can you give us the way you fixed your problem .
Thanks

Phone stuck at boot animation.

I have a rooted Lenovo A6000 Plus.
Today, I was trying to install custom TWRP recovery, after which I planned to install XPOSED framework.
I installed the framework(used ADB). My device went into TWRP recovery.
I rebooted the device, but was unable to go into TWRP again.
So I flashed the recovery again. Again, my device went into TWRP recovery, but this time, it auto-installed XPOSED. After reinstallation, my device showed the Lenovo logo, after which the screen went black. I removed the battery to switch it back. But again, the Lenovo logo appeared, after which the screen went black. After a few times, I just let my phone sit at the black screen. L8r the boot animation appeared (I had a custom one installed).
Now my phone is just stuck at the animation.
P.S. I have tried removing the battery and rebooting many times.
PLEASE HELP URGENTLY!
@adityapathak343, the XPOSED package also comes with a Uninstaller zip, which you would've found on the same page. Just flash that zip with TWRP, and if the phone still doesn't boot then wipe the cache and dalvik partition through TWRP only.
flash stock rom
Download and flash stock ROM
It will definitely going to be ok
Download stock ROM from firmwarefilecom
Just download & flash from recovery
I have link but can't able to share right now

Update your twrp, there's no need to use that old version... my phone reboots when it wants when it has opd twrp versions
Download twrp 3.1.1-0
Put it on your phone, maybe via adb or through mtp if you have it
Go to Install -> hit the button on the right that says 'Install image'
Find the TWRP.img and install it, it will prompt you where to install it, put 'recovery'
Followed you instructions, but now i cant get into TWRP or the OS ):
Tried to flash it with axon7tool on pc, but got the same result, but when I tried to flash the 3.0.2. again, it worked.

Don't use axon7tool for this... you already have TWRP, the only thing you have to use axon7tool for is to install twrp when you have the stock recovery. after you have twrp on the phone just try not to use the PC except for maybe miflash
I tried both of this options.
Flashing new version of twrp through the old twrp resulted in black screen when i try to get to recovery.
So I flashed the old twrp from the pc, tried to flash the new one using the same method but it the same as i flashed it through the old twrp. (which mean that when i get to the recovery i get black screen)
ATM the situation is the same, system wont boot stuck on zte logo, twrp is 3.0.2.2 (there is another method to flash newer twrp?)
There is another option?
After wiping system in twrp i was able to install supersu, which means i completed this guide
https://forum.xda-developers.com/axon-7/how-to/a2017g-nougat-b08-twrp-bootstack-t3696479v
but still stuck on zte logo after i reboot , any help?

Wait, what did you do? Did you install everything again after wiping system?
Ya, afte i wiped the system it allowed me to install the supersu without interrupts, but it did not helped.
Anyway i manged to install purefusion os, system booted up, after that the new twrp updated successfully.

You installed SuperSU without a system, and the phone did not boot up? Amirite?
what i did was wipe system dalvik cache, cache, after that install bootstack and the system files, and after that the supersu.
before i wiped the system, when i tried to install the supersu the twrp collapsed, after that it installed it but did not helped to make the system boot.
