wps direct wifi

Any idea how to connect to the tv (samsung) by wifi? It ask me to push the wps button on device but xperia play doesnt got it.... I tried with a samsung galaxy s 2 and it gots that option

nobody knows what i´m talking about?
please help

I think you are confused I think Samsung TV only connects with DNLA devices (like Galaxy phones)

yes, youre right... but our phone (xperia r800) is dlna certified... you can check it here... http://www.dlna.org/products

is there not an .apk to install before you can use it? im sure ive seen one knocking around, could of been for the samsungs though?

yeah, that´s allshare.apk, but i think you need touchwiz of samsung to run it...
there are other apps to do this like imediashare but not the same functionality as allshare
But i think that what i need is te wps button in the wifi settings to connect to a wifi direct device

any rom working on xperia play does this?

Screen mirroring - mhl - custom ROM?

Long time waiting for a solution to mirror wp screen to pc/tv/projector. It Seems that currently there is no solution for wp (although we have seen it in Microsoft' presentations, and people from Microsoft have told us that due to Security reasons it can only be done with a device with an especial rom with that implemented).
Perhaps now that ativ s have been unlocked, it could be done. Any ideas?

I don't think its due to security reason but rather patent issues..

Anyway, it doesn't matter the reasons, the fact is that there is NO way to make a live presentation with your Phone, isn't it? Brrrr

Sad but true.
The current state of hacking is interop-unlock.
If anybody can hack the bootloader and custom roms are available maybe this feature can be enabled.

Wasn't the issue to do with drivers. I'm still not sure we can fiddle at that level

Doesn't come up on mobile though for me on 2 browsers I wonder how to see if it's active

I checked the JS earlier and there was something in there like "if !mobile" so it's desktop only. Doubt a phone would generate much anyway.

It wasn't cpu it was battery life that I'm concerned about.

Thanks! Im with xiamo redmi 4 prime and I had custom rom with Android 8.1 and now I replaced rom to M1A1 and all messages are in English...so the room counts here.
Regarding relaybility- it is not.... Blood pressure and heartbeats are off real values.
Sleep meter us ok.
Steps counter us incorrect, I'm on bike and it counts as if I'm on foot. I still need to check it while I swim that was the reason I got it.

I want to root the device cause I want to connect 4g modem and get good internet connection via usb

Good luck. If it is not MTCD radio there is no support for routing or ROMS in my experience.
