Nice, I guess Poland has the Eu open model H815, so I think people from all over the world will get this update. (If they have H815.)

The same info in english:
http://www.androidcentral.com/lg-announces-its-first-android-60-marshmallow-update
I'm form Poland so just have to wait to next week and yes in Poland we have the Eu open model of H815 so update will be for all......

Now we wait for xposed for 6.0

Hello all,
I have lg H815 and I am from Poland.
Do you know if i will lose my root after updating to 6.0?

Yes you will lose your root upgrading to 6.0

You also may have a tough time if you try updating via OTA

i'm curious to know why Poland seems to be the preferred country in Europe for rolling out big updates first, Samsung does the same
anyways, i suspected LG would start rolling out Marshmallow by October 18th cuz they usually release updates by then every month

I hope there are no wakelock in this buil.
Only 2h of SOT is terrible for me.

@mikedemoda
well, in Poland we have malcontents who think that they are doing from us beta testers

Same for Samsung devices, cause software is developed in Poland
Wysłane z mojego LG-H815 przy użyciu Tapatalka

I hope someone will dump system.img ASAP I'm rooted with Xposed, so no OTA for me. Also let's hope LG kept at least a bit more stock 6.0 looks and feel (I know it won't happen, but still).

i hope we get a quick solution regarding root
i cant live without it...

H815 is the international model, there are other varients of the H815 which are local ones i think, But H815 should be first to get it

great news but they could be even better:
1) give us unlocked bootloader (custom ROMs are way more important than official updates)
2) if no unlocked bootloader, then at least make the official UI more stock and with less bloatware (I don't need LG health or backup apps, if I ever do, I will make sure to download them from the play store..)
if 6.0 has the same LG UI as the current 5.1 version I will puke - its awful looking with ****ty icons and crammed settings/notifications

Exactly how I feel, G4 is my first LG and thank god (and every dev involved) for Xposed G4 Tweaksbox! If there would be a fine running CM ROM, it would be running on my G4

Actually, most of your custom ROMs would really suck without official updates and your custom ROM's dev would have a very, very hard time developing (Not to mention that half of the custom ROMs wouldn't even exist...). This is not a Nexus with everything available for the devs to work with. It's a device driven by a bunch of proprietary drivers updated with official firmware updates by the OEM (I'm so curious to see how the G4's camera will perform on AOSP/A or CM...). Reverse engineering these drivers, I can only imagine how time consuming and frustrating it must be. Now imagine you don't even have updated proprietary drivers to even begin with.
This is why official updates are at least as important as your custom ROM, if not more.

this year no UI photo leak?
Last year many G3 leak and offical promo before rolled out...

Moto e 2015 update to 5.0.2 in germany just out now

Hello the update to android lollipop 5.0.2 just arived my device.
I was very frustrated the last time, cause there was no uptate for my device,
but it just came out.
Well I am hope that the time to marshmallow will not be so long
Moto E 2015 comes out of the box with 5.0.2! You must be talking about some other update. And update to marshmallow is mostly not gonna come Motorola didn't mention this device in their list

This is not right. I bought my device in a normal store for electronic goods. The device has no brand, is a regular device and 5.0.1 was installed - not 5.0.2

I think he said that because some E variants shipped with 5.0.2 (such as the Verizon variant). Some of the international variants are behind in updates, 5.1.1 (w/ stage fix) is the one that's desirable.

This is true, and that may matter for some things but the important thing in this case is that Moto posed a 5.0.x update as 5.1.x, which is shameful, and there is a years-long pattern of failing to update that we want them to fix.

A few infos for those who have problems on V20D H815

to all the guys on the international variant who have problems with sot and overheating issue, lg knows about the problems and they are working on a new update, i saw this on a german forum they are allready testing it so it should come online in one or 2 weeks. This information was given them by the lg support. Wanted to share u this because i only saw it in german forum and not on xda. So we just have to wait now
My h815 never heated up, and the SOT was about 3h30m or 4h, depends on the use that i was giving.
If its for us to have 5h....YUPIIII !!!

So m8 u are one of the lucky users but there are some issues on some h815 like strange battery drainage fron 95 to 50% and randomly heating up peocessors even with clean installation of v20d. And sometimes calls dont work properly they are buggy too. And further i have to say that this is the information given us in the german forum by the lg support workers. From what I saw - in V20f LG already fixed the SOT and the heating problem.
Yeah but dont forget that v20f is for turkey and we are officially on v20d so as far as we go officially the issues arent solved for International/european models. And maybe lg releases v20f as v20e for us europeans, lets wait it out
I hope it will be 6.0.1

If you are on stock firmware you'll be notified and will be able to update whether you are rooted or not (as long as you haven't disabled automatic checks). After the update you will have lost root.
Edit: welder73 a word of caution since many people don't realize that root and custom recovery are different things and you don't need one for the other: if you have installed a custom recovery and get notified about updates do not accept to install them (OverTheAir). Instead find a place to download the update and flash it using your custom recovery.

Okeyy
Thank you bro. I will download .ftf today and upgrade
I have not seen any improvements whatsoever in this release. The touchscreen keyboard is still a bit hit and miss. And the fingerprint hardware unavailable still appears.
The only good thing about this update is bringing the security patch level to 1 June. Which is outdated, other vendors are getting the 1 August one already.
Strange to be such a big update though 500MB+.
Things i noticed in this update (I'm using VN firmware):
- New homescreen which allows rotation.
- June security patch.
- The touch issue mentioned in this thread has been fixed.
- Better fingerprint recognition. Battery life seems to be improved (a bit).
- Gaming performance is a hit and miss. Dead Effect 2 and BIA3 run better, Asphalt 8 runs worse. Other games don't seem to change. (I'm not sure if A8 actually run worse or it's just me, can't get FPS without root ). Antutu score increased from 75k to 79k.
- I can't say anything about camera, as i barely use it.
Overall, unless you have nothing else to do, this update does not bring any game-changing improvements, and can be skipped. We're getting Nougat in months anyway.

The phone is not rooted, bootloader is not unlocked. Am I getting the this update OTA or should I just flash it with flashtool again? I don’t mind to wait if OTA update is available, I just wanna make sure I’m gonna get it.

I think Play will be the last carrier to release Android 6.0 for this phone. You have to wait. If you are rooted then dont update or else you risk bricking your phone.
if it is true, pleake post screenshot with marshmellow on k420n
Guys, I don't suggest you to root your device. Marshmallow has Android Boot verification. What's it? It checks the all partitions if anything changed from stock. If it sees somethings has changed, might block your device. I just warn you, be careful and know what you'll do.
Yes I'm with 'berkantlz'. Chainsfire has developed a new way to successfully root Android 6.0 by not modifying the /system partition, but this is only for certain devices.
If anyone want to update to Android 6.0.1 on LG K10, it's OK. But by now DON'T TRY TO ROOT IT.

I forgot to mention but Android 6 is only available (by now) por certain phone companies, not all, even if you bought the same model.
But you have available to download and install Android 6.0.1 KDZ file from (Orange = Spain and Plus = Poland) companies, that if is not the official LG firmware (without phone's companies bloatware), you could install the last android version for it phone model.
For links, visit the LG K10 WhatsApp Group.

see screenshot
Play (Poland) have got the v20b too
K430TR Turkey model has got V20y yesterday. It's already shipped with 6.0 but yeah
I have a marshmallow for about a week and i can say something about that
The first is battery, it's working shorter (Screen-On-Time 3h 30m) but Doze mode is perfect
I have got themes option and SmartWorld (i know it was in LP already but my carrier turned it off) and many new functions.
Light sensor and VPN works better.
Now On Tap worked good too but it turned off and i don't know how to turn it on back.
What about performance? The same like in LP, but it seems to me that animations is bit longer than on LP (just longer animations, no lags). Antutu? LP - 28k pts, MM - 27k pts.
After update i had problem with refreshing available wi-fis list and bluetooth just turning off after trying to connect with a speaker but hard reset helped and i haven't this problems now.
On LP i had lags on opening notifications panel with the navbar button, on MM it works perfect.
When I poweroff the screen and poweron back, i had about 1-2% of battery less. MM - no problem with this.
Don't Disturb Mode is quite difficult to use but works fine.
If you have questions ask here.

Well, technically we are already "tasting" Nougat as 7.0 is Nougat... But semantics aside, if LG's track record is anything to go by(and it usually is) then no we will not ever get official 7.1.1 support on stock LG, but I can't imagine we will be missing out on much...

Sorry I meant to say taste nougat 7.1,
Samsung and sony are planning bring 7.1, Im sure htc will bring it too, so why LG wont,
Besides that, if The G5 will get 7.1 it will be updated with the G6's ui, and that's very important
LG G4 never received .X version of Marshmallow.
LG will
probably skip Android 7.1 and our next major update will be Android "O" and then will probably top out at that

There is a difference between 6.0.X and 6.X.
nope, 6.X contains 6.0.X in it. That's logic bro Focus on more important thing. For LG it is important to "be first" A6, A7 and then it doesn't care.
EHm, I dont know which LG G4 you've had, but for G4 there is no official 6.0.1. Every updates had and have 6.0 in software description.

I beg to differ between minor version number and revision number. Also I am not really aware of any 6.1 android, but that may be because of the lag of a API level increment.

You're lying! Actually i also facing bootloop issue and after it got recovered, guess what? I have official MM 6.5 ! Duhh~
Android 6.1 never existed, and if you mean it is 6.0.1, the 6.0.1 doesn't even available on G4, we only got earlier MM that is 6.0 unless you're using CM13.1 then that is another story..
See my signature, i'm using LG G4 right now.. TQ
ON Topic, i think it is 50-50 chance for us the G5 and G4 user to get 7.1 . From my past experiences with LG, back to G3 days.. We don't even get Android 4.4.4 or 5.0.2 or 5.1.1 but we only got 4.4.2, 5.0 and 6.0..
Back to G2, G2 was released with 4.2.2 and being straightaway updated to 4.4.2 and finally 5.0.2.. No Android 4.3 or 4.4.4 or even 5.1.1! Why my old Xperia Z got 5.1.1 but my G2 won't?
The conclusion is i can say, screw all this minor update.. LG doesn't even give a f**k about it..
Sent from my LG-H815 using XDA-Developers Legacy app
It wont matter to me, unless i start to see LG sort out the 7.0 update and actually do something productive i will just buy a new handset when the next cycle start to release.
I really liked my G5 to begin with its not been a bad phone, physically its held up well, im getting pissed off with the fact V20 came alone and it feels like all development stopped with the G5. Worse still i cant even get V20 in my country lol.
