Previous was 5.0 now Its 5.0.1
I am on ALE-L21C432B133. I am quite new to Huawei (I am a proud owner of a Sony Xperia Z3) and I just got this new phone from my new employer. Now I read there is a 5.1 update which you can download from Huawei and via a SD card you can upgrade. But this seems to be for a L4 type of this phone? Is there an official 5.1 update for the P8 Lite Dual ALE-21?
Not yet. Right now there is a beta test where a few people is getting a beta 5.1 OTA, so a few weeks or even months before we see official version.
I got beta 5.1 OTA, result? A brick phone.

I have the HUAWEI GRA-UL10 version of the P8 and was wondering if there is a planned upgrade to Marshmallow.

There is marshnallow, but for region China(c00)...for us there isn't update..i am with the same version like you- c433..probably we have to change our region but i dont know how..

I'm assuming your phone was bought in the Middle East because my build number was the same as yours when I first booted it.
I am using the UL10 and I was also running the same firmware as yours (C433B180) and am now running C185B320 on Android 6.0
Huawei's site lists it as firmware for the UL00 but technically the UL10 and UL00 have the same hardware other than the NAND (as the UL10 has 64GB and the UL00 only has 16GB)

I am currenty on emui 3.1 and androif 5.01 and i just want to update, but updatemanager says there is no update available.
also i got no notification on my lockscreen which makes it a pain in the ass to use this phone correctly

Look in the guides section of the fourm there will be a guide there and link you do a downgrade package from the official huawei site and simply follow instructions.

It's not that easy. I haven't seen a guide where you can solve the problem that I have. I can't downgrade because my NRD90M test-keys version is not official.

I was in the same situation: I have Huawei P9 Lite VNS-L31, Europe version, no brand, single sim, bootloader unlocked. After a update i had the build number NRD90M test-keys. I not did downgrade to MM, because i have resolved following the Install Method 1 of this tutorial is valid for Europe version, single sim: ministryofsolutions.com/2017/03/huawei-p9-lite-vns-l31-nougat-b371-update-stable-europe.html after the tutorial my build number was: VNS-L31C432B371, I checked the updates and has found the last update VNS-L31C432B381 - FULL (1,9 GB) . Now i have the build VNS-L31C432B381 :victory:

I have followed that tutorial (Install Method 1) from build NRD90M test-keys, after followed the tutorial my build number was VNS-L31C432B371.
After, from OTA i checked the updates and has found and installed the last update VNS-L31C432B381 - FULL (1,9 GB). Now i have the last build VNS-L31C432B381 and it works very well!

Hello Everyone,
I had a P10 plus dual sim VKY-AL00C00B152, Emui 5.1 with 7.0 nougat.
I did the rebranding via funky huawei with this firmware : VTR-L09C432B152 and VKY-L29C432B152
However, the model number became : D189-L29 and the build number is NRD90M test-keys.
There is no option to upgrade this firmware via the phone.
How do I get back to EMUI 5.1 with 7.0 nougat with an European Version of P10 plus Dual version ?
If possible, with HiSuite/HiCloud since all of my contacts info is on the cloud.

My understanding is that if you ended up with "NRD90M test-keys" then something went wrong with the oeminfo/cust change from the original to the new cust (C432) version. I may be wrong though.
It should be noted that VTR-L09 is for the P10, not the P10 Plus, so that may be the source of your problem too.

this is correct.
you only get EMUI 3.1 and NRD90M test-keys when the updated stuffed up. you will need to reflash the update via HWOTA.
Hi, currently using Huawei Nova Plus MLA-L12. I would like to know anyone that use the same model as mine have got official EMUI5.0 update from Huawei and let me know the build number.
I'm using beta EMUI 5.0 since mid of February and I haven't get the official update yet. My build number is MLA-L12C636B300.
