A stupid question maybe, but bear with me
I constantly hear the term "klte" here in the S5 forum, but honestly I don't know what it means, I've been searching for days and what I found was that they're the Qualcomm variants of the phone. Now, the MAIN question concerning my phone : Is the T-Mobile version a klte ? The model number is SM-G900T and it's unlocked.
Thanks a million !!!
Klte = 900F

What about SM-G900D (SC-04f) ?
Is it KLTE or something else ?
Thanks in advance...

Yes, it is for Japan
I also assumed that it is a KLTE also. But recently I tried to flash BlissPop v3.0.4 KLTE via TWRP ... The flashing failed and it said This ROM is for KLTE & some other names ....
That is why I am a bit confused.
Can't find a good ROM for my device
BTW, Thank you for assuring ...
Some variants are not compatible with each other. So you have to be careful.
i got the kltetfnvzw (S903VL)

A great place to look up device Codenames is on the following link...
List of 5000+ Android Device Codenames - DroidViews.com
Just an FYI... the klte is used on a small group of non-S5 devices AND not all S5 devices use klte but, that's also a small group as well.
I hope i explained this okay via text and it helps you out too...
Good Luck!

It depends on your Note 3 model.
Qualcomm variants - yes for N9005, N900T, N900P, N900W8, N900R4 and N900V (only the developer version of N900V is supported).
Nightlies available here:

Exynos variants - not yet
There are some ongoing threads about CM11 in this forum. Please search for them.

I have tried CM11 for the N9005 and there is a dialler problem. The screen goes black when dialling. I can't find the solution to this or any mention of it. Am I alone?
Yeah it happened to me to its because of the proximity sensor so all I did was downloaded the disable proximity sensor mod on xposed and now you just have to lock it all the time when calling but it works.

Hi guys I'm sorry if this has been answered already but I genuinely can't find it anywhere. I guess I'm using the wrong search criteria.
I am about to help my boyfriend flash the CM12 alpha build to his Galaxy S5 but I don't know which version to flash.
He has the european variant so I'm not sure if it's klte or kltedv.
Could someone please answer?
Thanks and sorry again if this has already been answered.
Its klte.
Thank you!
Hy

I think he wants a download list of ALL the different modems for KitKat and Lollipop, not just BOC3
But That more likely to be in General or Help Forum

cheers
Hi all I couldn't find a thread or section which will help me or guide me to install some of the beautiful roms here for my device, can you please help me out and let me know where can I find the roms matching my device.
I really appreciate your quick reply,
thanks
Nasser
Your device = the Exynos 8890 variant. I don't see why the many ROMs available here on XDA wouldn't work?! I have the Exynos W8 variant (Canada). That specific S7 edge variant is not included in many of these ROMs compatibility list, but it works anyway.

Well, thanks for your reply, in fact I didnt try any rom yet, because whenever I read the model supported in every rom thread, I couldnt find mine or the model I mentioned in the subject.
since you have the Exynos 8890 which is similar to mine so I think you are right...Which rom you tried and it works ...?
many thanks again.

SM-G935K is exynos variant model, you can flash custom roms for exynos model.
I have same model SM-G935K and flash custom rom for exynos model.
but if you want flash custom rom, you need flash custom recovery and void warranty.

well, where it mentioned that in (the rom thread) it is compatible with exynos variant model? The only thing I found in the subject is the model numbers of the devices..
Yes I knew about the custom recovery and the warranty issue, thanks again.
Nasser
The installation process is simple
First install twrp recovery by odin
Then boot your cell in recovery mode
Then wipe data,cache,dalvik cache
And then select install choose your cm14.1
And then select install gapps
Done.....reboot your device it will take 5 min to boot first time

ok but you shouldnt put this in the sprint fourms as it is not meant for this version model. I dont want any people with a sprint device to flash this and cause problems with their phones due to wrong build model.
