hi
some times the touch screen has a mind of its own and starts pressing buttons, or options itself with out me doing anything...
also if i go into my inbox the 1st message is highlighted with out me touching it... if i then try to open another message it'll just open the 1st one that is highlighted...
when typing a new message, i open the contacts part to add a number but pressing a name just highlights it, press it again and it un-highlights...
its driving em mad!
ive cleaned the screen, soft-rebooted (little button at the bottom), aligned the screen
please help if possible.. thank you!
any idea why this is so and how i can try to fix this?
this only started happening when i used sk.tools and erased DUPLICATE files on my fone. i didn't notice anything out of the ordinary so i erased the duplicates.
but now when i press the "X" panel button to change my panel, the screen is just blank and nothing happens. help please. thanks.
Hello guys!
Lately I'm observing a strange problem. When I flash a new ROM and it boots up, on the setup phone screens, after entering my google account details, the navigation bar doesn't work. I'm talking about the screens that are shown in the attachment.
So I can not select the apps that I want to restore. I've to go ahead with installing all the apps again. Once the restoring process it done, I do not have any problem with the navigation bar. (I can also use the button in landscape mode). But I'm confused why is this happening while flashing a ROM only
I've tried with different ROMs.
Has anyone faced such an issue?
I noticed a similar thing. The menu for restoring pops up in a full screen mode and it is actually under the navigation bar. It turns out that there is a little spot in that menu where you can just tap through to the "OK" button. (Try tapping above the OK button when you're done with selecting your apps).

Thanks buddy! I'll try this next time. I was starting to think if it's problem with the touch screen of my mako
My Elephone S7 on screen button is not working(home, back and windows) . I tried to find the settings to hide and unhide button, but i cant find any. I also tried swiping from bottom of screen up, but no response.
Plz help
I cant do most of my stuff without the back button.

Go into settings and buttons, you can set navigation bar to on all the time.
Also look for what might happen with home button

Same problem happened to me two days ago. Home and navigation options disappeared from the settings. No way to change anything.
So my phone randomly restarted and after that my home button doesn't work, the button left to it, notification bar and few more things.
I tried to google the solution, and it seems that it has to do something with developer mode. It says: "developer options are not available for this user " , while they were before restart.
Solutions were to install nova launcher, but i can't do that since when i press install, it just hangs there forever.
Any ideas how to fix this?
I have May update.
