Can't flash any rom. - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi XDA,
Today I wanted to flash a new rom, but it didn't work, it just do the boot animation until infinite and nothing happens..
I tried flashing two roms by recovery: Carbon for Galaxy S4 and Dirty Unicorns Rom for Galaxy S4.
Both are stuck at boot animation screen.
What can I do? Please help me
My Phone: Samsung Galaxy S4 i9505 Black Edition (from Romania)
Thanks.
Have a nice day.

I am using GT-I9500, but i think your recovery may have some things wrong.
Have you tried to flash the TWRP again through Odin ? May be that will work.

Did you turn the usb debugger on ?
Did you install SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones in your computer ?
I always do these when i flash somethings through Odin.

Did you wipe the device before flashing?

That's the reason it's failing.
Only use the latest TWRP recovery. The rest is outdated.
99% of Odin errors are resolved by the following:
- Different usb port
- Different usb cable.

Does odin shows 'pass' message?. After successful cwm flash, you phone will reboot and automatically enter cwm. Then after some times it will attempt to reboot to OS. If it ask to flash stock recovery then choose no

Strange, try a factory reset and re-flashing the ROM again, there has been a issue of CWM n TWRP not working after flashing on ND1 "I personally faced it" but the file I provided should have worked without any probs , anyways try a reset...

Hi mate,
Some more information would be nice.
Which was the latest firmware and which version did you want to flash?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265477
Take a look at this, especially to the "Odin troubleshooting" part.

Hey. Thank you for the answere.
I tried to flash I9505XXUGNF6_I9505DREGNF2_I9505XXUGNF6_HOME.tar
The latest firmware was 4.2.2 (Austria 3)
I tried now another Odin version and i flashed it with PID file. The only result is that i get a recovery booting
in the top left corner but it still stucks... i cannot open recovery to wipe cache / factory reset.
The last thing i tried was to flash the original recovery. <- back to the 3 errors.
now i try another odin software with another usb port. odin passes with everything but i cannot open recovery. just stuck at Recovery Booting

Hi,
does Odin give a fail log? Or does it finish successfully?
Which Odin versions did you try?
And the firmware you want to flash now is a Austria 3 one as well? You can also take another version (but still with the same csc) in case that your current one is damaged or something like this.

Hi again.
I used Odin 3.04 and 1.85. Also i tried diffrent USB Ports.
I tried to flash CWM 6.0.4.7 Touch and Non Touch, also twrp.
It passes with all the recoverys as well with the rom from sammobile and the stock recovery rom from the other tread.
i tried with and without pit file. Odin passes everytime.
Afther restarting the phone i just get the blue (booting recovery) or the 3 error messages in the top left corner and it stucks for hours.
Iam not able to boot recovery and wipe the cache... and iam not able to boot into the system do something else.
the only thing working is the download mode.
iam out of ideas.

You can try to flash a three or four part firmware with Odin 3.09, it will wipe your device itselfs

Try flashing the recovery again with auto-reboot unchecked.
But it sounds more like a hardware failure to me.
Thank you all for your help.
And yes. It was a Hardware failure.

Phone stuck in bootloop after flashing root using Odin

Hi guys! I need help! I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 (sm-g900h) and everytime I flash the CF Auto Root file (CF-Auto-Root-k3g-k3gxx-smg900h.tar.md5) using Odin, I always end up in bootloop. I always fix this problem by flashing the stock rom. I don't know what is the problem but any solution will be helpful. Thanks in Advance :good::fingers-crossed:

did you enable usb debugging ? and maybe try to uncheck the auto reboot at odin and after you flash and pass , just removed your battery a while then plug it again then turn it on...
i use the same file for root but it's work and for some user it's cause bootloop....
You don't need USB debugging enabled for CF AR

OP - Try this

I enable usb debugging. I also tried to flash with auto reboot unchecked, but whenever i boot it to recovery mode i always end up stuck in samsung logo with powered by android under it.
USB Debugging is only for when you are booted into Android, not for download mode
I'll try the link that you sent me. Thanks for the reply ?

Before I started rooting, I tried flashing cwm custom recovery but no luck. I can't boot to stock recovery. I waited for 30sec but it just stay in samsung logo with powered by android under it. Please help..
Why you trying to boot into stock recovery?
Flash a stock ROM again, then follow the instructions on the link I posted
Start here

I disable USB debugging then tried flashing TWRP recovery via Odin. After flashing, I remove the battery then boot into the recovery and waited for 30 seconds but the phone is still stuck with the samsung logo. I will try to clean flash stock recovery and try flashing again the custom recovery.

That link you attached is good
its the one many G900H users using
no one else faced the issue of bricking the device
maybe you must have dirty flashed several roms so it must have bricked
Try repartition with PIT
no other way i think
Keeps failing

do this
use laptop ( shutdown once and turn it back on and use )
use different usb 2.0 cable
use new odin application
Use New MM based Firmware
if it doesnt boot
then flash PIT alone in odin
then if stock recovery comes clear data and cache
and then install twrp and flash new roms
if not work i dont have any other solutions
:good::good:
good luck
tried but no show!
