hello. the first phone i don't find sms app in options.... i checked in apps in use, apps system and app installed but isn't there!!! i checked names default com.xxxxx but don't find no icon or name!!
please, cn anyone tell me what is the complete name and icon?

There's no individual application for messaging in our device, it's implemented into the Huawei Contacts app, what you can find here: system/priv-app/Contacts/Contacts.apk

hi guys.
1st. Need help. couldnt find any solution anywhere.
how can i cook yota dialer in the rom. am using viisual kitchen and when i flash the rom with cooked yota dialer, there is no network and the dialer doesnt even launch.
how to solve it. i know there are negatives to yota dialer but still i like it and i hate installing cab when i know cooking.

2nd. this dialer has one issue with wm6.5, i.e when phone is locked, and there ia an incoming call, the phone vibrates but i donot see the dialer nor the lockscreen dialer, all i see is the normal lock screen. so i have to unlock the lock screen and i see the yota dialeer showing an incoming call.
the thing is that its hidden behind the lock screen.
when when i use classic lockscreen, the yota dialer shows up on incoming call.
that means thhe wm6.5 lockscreen incoming dialer is disabled by yota dialer, but not the lock screen, during the call.
so hopefully a registry to solve this issue?
i mean just disabling the lock screen during a call
3rd. whenever yota dialer is active, an active contacts icon appears in the taskbar, how to remove or hide this??

first you have to convert che cab in package using the cab2oem ,and then import in the kitchen. you can download the file below.
for the second issue...i can't help you, because i use s2su and i don't have the problem
and for the third issue i don't know,i don't have this kind of problem......

i use ervius package tool. i think it does the same work as cab2oem. the problem is not of creating the oem, but it is or cooking the oem and nothing working after that.
yes i know is same, but i don't understand why, with this program is working.
i can tell you this, because i had the same problem and i solved like this.
i'm using in my rom....unfortunaly i'm not home so i can't send you the package for the kitchen.....if you don't want give a try, i will send you the package tonight

Hello Everyone, looking for a way to backup my Internetquicklinks and their Thumnails for rebuild after ROM-update (made my Own Favorite Icons, don´t want to reorganize thema again, on by one...)
The favorites itself
...no problem, just export those keys in HKLM\\Software\HTC\Manila\InternetPush\Enabled\... (001,002,003,004,...)
those are the links and their positions on the internet tab...

in Windows\thumbnail\
But how are they linked?
Didn´t find a registry key for it! (Would be nice, not only to backup them, also to change their names from {xyz1234-anything} to {link-forExample...}
Does anybody have a hint for me???

same problem i don't find anything
i had dowload the Mirsal software before 2 weeks so i can read HEBREW SMS! and i did!
since then today i had notifection that there is UPDATE for the software at the market so i updated and now there is no hebrew support !!
is there any way i can find/ install the pervois version of it ??
Best thing to do is contact the developer and ask them for support.
i dont know how to do that..

I hope you got the problem solved.
I was using Arail font which is a little large. I replaced with KACSTone font.
however I added a feature to add any font to your SD card at SDCARD/mirsal/fonts
and then from mirsal settings you go font type and change the font

newbie here. my mother has an MI A1 running ANDROID ONE version 8.1.0 (security patch level - 1st november 2018).
she has a banking app which requires some permissions to be set manually, for it to function, so she searched the phone thoroughly but cant find the "OTHER PERMISSIONS" menu item anywhere. can anyone tell me where to find them?
PS. i can find the same in my REDMI NOTE 4 running MIUI version global stable 11.0.2.0 (NCFMIXM) but not in my mother's phone, because google has changed the menu layout in oreo. please help me.

Goto settings
Search for 'permissions'
Open 'App level permissions'
Open '> See all'
You should have the banking app in the list and set required permissions.
BTW: Android One and MIUI never had exact same settings menus...
