Hi,
I've installed this kernel over stock samsung rom BOD6 with CWM.
After few minute on home page, i receveid a notification that says : "Security notification: unauthorized actions have been detected".
It seems to come from KNOX service and when i swipe it , it comes again after few minute.
Anything to do with this ?

had the same problem.
install a custom rom.
i recomend SipleGX with SimpleGX kernell v 1.2.3
it works flowlessly without any kind of problems and it is rock stable
you can install xposed framework after to customise a little the rom after your taste

OTA Updates
These are the smaller, OTA packages. Do not use this if you are rooted. If they do not appear automatically on your phone, you can download the corresponding OTA and update your phone manually by placing the OTA zip on your SD card renaming the OTA zip to:

Then go into the stock recovery by holding the volume up key while powering it on. Once the phone vibrates, release the Power Key but continue holding Vol Up. Then click Vol Down until the Box in the top says "Recovery". Click the Power button once to install it. Don't forget to delete the update after it is finished.

Pre-Root Firmware
These are generally used to restore the /system of a rooted phone before applying an OTA update. Having a modified /system often will lead to a bootloop, so flashing the Pre-Root system.img and other parts is recommended. Be careful to choose the correct model and firmware on the right. Use WinRAR to connect all of the system.img parts together.

OTA Updates
These are the smaller, OTA packages. Do not use this if you are rooted. If they do not appear automatically on your phone, you can download the corresponding OTA and update your phone manually by placing the OTA zip on your SD card renaming the OTA zip to:

MOFD_SDUPDATE.zip
Then go into the stock recovery by holding the volume up key while powering it on. Once the phone vibrates, release the Power Key but continue holding Vol Up. Then click Vol Down until the Box in the top says "Recovery". Click the Power button once to install it. Don't forget to delete the update after it is finished.

This method actually worked for me when I rooted with the one-click tool. It also keeps root after update.

It caused some people to bootloop who had modified lots of parts on their /system and deleted lots of apps. Best to be safe and flash the pre-rooted images first.

Ok, I normally just freeze the bloat with Titanium Backup that I don't want and I haven't done an insane amount of /system modding

That's what I do now, and have been recommending to people who ask about uninstalling bloatware in the Q&A section.

The way that the update-script in the OTA works is that it checks the integrity of the /system apps and then installs a newer version of it that is included in the OTA.

Btw if you unroot your stock rom and you have not messed with the system partition you can flash the ota's in twrp just fine no need to use the stock recovery or rename them

im out because i had an emergency . my son was hospitalized. ill be back in the next few hours. unfortunately no pc access in the past few days and data speed is unbelievably slow.....

Hi, was wondering if you could help me... I was testing the Resurrection rom (6.0.1) on my N7105 (was on TW 4.4.2) but decided to go back to TW, so restored from my nandroid backup. I then realized that now my GPS is not locking on to any satellite. I have been searching xda and googling for fix but have not been successful. Do you have any idea? The rest of the phone is working fine (eg. Wifi, 4g network etc )except for gps .
Appreciate if you could help .

I see you're my neighbour over at M'Sia... Morning! And no problem, hope I helped.

Hmmmm.... it's the service mode method which I have tried but does not work for me, giving me binary error when i tried. Might have to go the hard way by going back full stock TW via Odin... crap...

I've the same problem with GPS when I flash KK stock roms. No problem with MM. Let me know if you have a solution
