Battery Drain Fast - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Note 4 n-910g battery drains very fast im on stock rom lollipop version n910gdtu1b0h2

Usually battery drains fast the first 1-2 days when you update the firmware but it should stabilize after that. But in order to get any help better share screenshots of your battery stats to see what's draining the most out of your battery.

poor battery life

hey guys I'm asking if it's only me or I'm having a bad battery life?
I have phoenix v10 installed and googy kernel with battery profile.
When I dont use it and the screen is off the battery last very long but if i start to use it a bit the battery start to drain pretty fast. I also noticed in battery menu that android os and android operative system is draining me 17 and 12 % for a total of 29%..
is this normal?
I will post a screenshot tomorrow of my battery life and a screen of BBS wakelocks.

Yes it's normal.
Your screen uses power. Also 29% is relative of the battery consumed. So If your battery is still at 99%, then android os etc can still have used 29% of that 1%.

Battery Drain after Lollipop Upgrade

Used to love the long battery life on my G900F running KitKat. Yesterday I upgraded to Lollipop via Kies and my battery only lasts about 6 hours with the same usage as before. Any help?

Battery draining problem

Hi, I need some help.
I have new Note 3 N9005, from Australia, it was on 4.3, and than I upgrade to 4.4.2 OTA, after that via ODIN Ive install lollipop, everything is gret with the phone it runs very smoothly and fast, but my battery life is ****.
When I charge it to 100% it drops to 80% for about 10 min, maybe less, then from 80 to 20 it last about a day and than from 20 to 1 for about 10 min.
Welcome to 5.0 lol.
Battery drain is common... you need to wait 3-4 cycles for it to improve a little, but it drains faster than 4.4.
5.1 will help fix some issues (suppose to include battery drain)... but can disable some bloatware that drains things... and install greenify to help kill things that aren't in use either.
Of course having root will give you better power to tweak things - but overall V5.0 is power hungry.
Good luck!

Best Exynos MM ROM for battery?

Hello people. I use Decent Ultralight 5.0, a heavily debloated 6.0.1 ROM, it runs fine, but the battery drains quickly, only 5 hours of SOT and battery drains from 100% to 0% quickly, without even using it.
I was wondering if there was another 6.0.1 ROM with good battery life, if so, please share with me!

Best ROM without battery drain?

What's the best ROM for battery life, with no noticeable battery drain?
Unlocked and rooted.
My current ROM (AICP) drains the battery right in front of my eyes. In 4-6 hours it's dead.

Most of the time it's not necessarily the rom, but the apps. Only things like network standby are rom-specific. Can you post pics of your battery stats page?
