Is there anyway to utilize the initial space on the pull down menu to have quick settings? Isn't it goofy you have to pull that down and then click on a tab to get to quick settings?

Well, CyanogenMod has some toggles on the first page of the notification menu (you can activate then through the settings).
Alternatively, you can change the notification bar's behavior that if you swipe down on the right you get to the quick sittings instantly, otherwise you'll get to the normal notification menu. Cm and aokp both have this feature. Pa has it too if I'm not completely mistaken.

I find power toggles pretty awful. Widgetsoid would be my choice. It's much like Samsung's touchwiz toggles, and fully customizable.
Hi all,
I have strange problem at Lockscreen, when i press the back button at Lockscreen a grey squre appear and the only option is to slide to unlock the screen.
Please see Attached file
I've look at the Lockscreen settings but there is no option that is talking about apps (already disable it).
Hope that someone is having the same problem.
Thanks,
Roy.
I'm not sure what you mean. But if you want to add a widget scroll the top half until you see a plus sign, tap it and choose a widget.
If it's short cuts, that's done through the menu somewhere like in your pics

It is not really a problem. I don't really understand you too but if you want apps on the lockscreen you have just to go in settings and when you are in the lockscreen there are in. When you swipe widgets pages the apps disappear and you have to swipe to the top for seeing it.

thr s always two way to access lock-screen setting;
setting > display > lock-screen
security > lock-screen (or screen lock)
on lock-screen option u press on it (instead of disable/enable toggle) then u will go to complete setting of lock-screen
:good:
Maybe I didn't explain myself I want to disable the widgets so I will not get the grey squre.

How can I use toggles in Halo 2.0? I have watched the videos, however none of them explain setup. I have tried the halo app and pinned apps in Halo, and also tried status bar widgets with power toggles. Nothing I have tried lets me toggle settings in Halo. Does anybody have an idea for me? Thanks in advance!
Its a third party app called power toggles. Download it from the play store. Then open the app and enable the notification widget.
It should then appear in halo.

Okay I have power toggles... It appears in halo with a lock icon. I tried whitelisting power toggles, but that doesn't work either. I'll try a reboot.
So after a reboot I still have the power toggle icon with a lock on it?

Did you open the app and enable the notification widget?
Yes the notification widget is enabled. The toggles display in the status bar, just not in halo.
Any idea how I can remove the toggles from the notification shade?
or at least resize them (anyone know of any Xposed modules?)
I rather pull down the Quick Settings Panel to toggle..
been looking at the various Xposed modules.. can't seem to find one
still searching around.
hoping to at least resize the toggles so they don't take up so much of the notification shade
install nova launcher and you will be able to set that as a gesture.. so if you swipe up/down on the screen the quick settings will pop up

When I updated to Lollipop a weather widget appeared on my lockscreen and I can't figure out how to remove it. Any suggestions?
I assume you're on a stock ROM. Go to Settings>Lock Screen. You should have an option to shut it off there. If not, you'll need to open the Accuweather widget settings and look for the setting there.
