I have a brand new Galaxy s6 edge Plus non Branded (German dbt) it's the F version.
I wanted to root it with the arter kernel method. So I just downloaded the recovery from the thread arter97 kernel and flashed it via Odin.
I only flashed recovery not the kernel after that like in the post. Because I wanted to backup first. Problem is after recovery flashing the Phone is on an bootloop! It's not starting up anymore. The recovery is starting up fine. Tryed a full wipe but also bootloop. What can I do now?

Yes have done that this morning everything went fine! After that I flashed the original twrp version and phone just bootet fine!

I have original Samsung Galaxy N9006 and want to ask, can I put firmware for N9005 to my N9006 with Odin?
Because I thinks that the hardware is the same in both.
And have someone experience with battery life on Android 5.0? Is the same or best that Android 4.4.2?

Yes, you can.
I prefer to use RR 6.0.1 and Idle kernel.

I have the same question, I know that I can put custom rom and custom kernel from n9005, but can I flash official stock ROM with odin from n9005 to n9006?
I am allready on resurection remix and idle kernel, but i want stock ROM from n9005 because stock n9006 do not have play store.

Thank you for your reply. I was just interested in "converting" to N9005, so maybe someone did tried that before.
I am very satisfied with this RR Rom so far and every custom rom from n9005 worked on this device. Because of that I got this idea of flashing stock from n9005.

Does anyone have stock N9005 lollipop rom, twrp compatible, nandroid backup? I am thinking to flash stock n9005 rom with twrp, than restore stock recovery.
Can I flash stock recovery with fastboot method, like fastboot flash recovery recovery.img? Because I only have stock recovery in *.img format not .*tar.
I think flashing n9005 firmware with odin will damage my n9006.

Download MagiskManager.apk and it should automatically download magisk for you. You will have to flash it manually via TWRP or any other custom recovery
phone is not rooted. no custom recovery installed. bootloader is locked. plz help

If you want to continue using the phone with stock firmware/rom but only want root access then follow the instructions in the following link:

Main thing is to download the firmware that is currently installed on your phone from sammobile website. Patch the AP img tar file in the downloaded firmware using magisk manager and flash only this patched AP using odin

Are there any Stock Lite ROMS for the Galaxy S6 edge plus available? I tried downgrading the plus version the same way as I did with my normal S6 edge (G925F) but it strangely didnt work for the G928F. I used system.img, cache.img, boot.img and recovery.img from the G925F U3 Firmware and installed Combination Rom after it. When I use latest 5.1.1 Firmware for the G928F (U2) it doesnt work and instantly fails in Odin... Idk, strange but whatever. So, are there any Stock/Lite Roms based on 5.1.1?
