Hi all,
I recently purchased a Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 1051F with Win 8.1. In the bluetooth menu I can see send and receive files, but cannot do both, although I can pair it with my laptop and phone. I did some further research on my laptop and found that under the available services for the device (1051F) there was only:
1. Handsfree Telephony Gateway
2. Microsoft Windows Audio Source
3. Personal Area Network User (PANU)
4. Remotely Controllable Device
Has anyone tried to transfer files using bluetooth on this device? Currently I use ShareIt but it is a royal pain and I'd like to get bluetooth file transfer....
Thanks in advance.

Hello all,
I have not too recently got my first mac. Athough i can't sync I can still send files via bluetooth.
On OSX there is a option to "Browse Device" This allows me to see the files on mobile phones. Tried it on a nokia, samsung and sony ericcson and they all worked.
However it doesn't on my M500 Do i need to turn something on my phone to get this to work?
I also have wi-fi but I don't think you can browse the phone this way either.
Hoping someone might have got this to work in someway. Thanks
Dear all
I have issues with my bluetooth connection
everytime I tried to connect MS2 with my laptop, it's always failed.
In this case both the laptop and MS 2 detects the bluetooth connection (I even paired them). but there is no connection (i.e I can't receive image transferred to laptop from MS2 and vise versa)
In my laptop's bluetooth device, I can find my MS2 buth with yellow mark on it. When I tried to troubleshoot this problem with win7 troubleshooter, no succes. It's said that "bluetooth peripheral device doesn't have a driver - not fixed"
Have you ever met this experience?
please guys help me, it's like pain in the ass if my MS2 cannot connect to my laptops via bluetooth..
btw I use sony vaio with win 7 64 bit
MS 2 rooted with stock ROM
Best Regards
I have the same issue with HP Probook 4320s and Windows 7 64 bit, looks like a win issue... I have no problem with my other laptop running windows vista business

thanks for sharing
yeah..maybe win issue.
I've searched the bluetooth peripheral device from both manufacturer and windows site, but nothing came up with a success.
In the bluetooth device control of my PC I clicked "send files to my phone"
I choose the .apk files and hit "send" but it failed after several second.
the message was "The request could not be honored", it seems that the phone reject the request.
But then I try to send .rar and it works. So from now on if I had to transfering files via bluetooth to my MS2, I zip it first
I'm wondering if there is an option for MS2 to "receive all incoming beam"?
give it a try guys
I have tried it on my macbook, it also can't work...
Seems motorola didn't put any effort on bluetooth file transfering...
Use some e third party apps to solve it...

I have a 16GB Nexus 7 with XenonHD 4.2.2 Rom, and I cannot pair it with my Windows 7 (x64) desktop, either with the desktop looking for it and pairing or from the N7 finding the Desktop and Pairing.
But I can pair with my Macbook running OSX Lion and send a file from the Macbook to the N7.
And I can also pair the N7 to my T-Mobile G2 (HTC Desire-Z) running ILWT CM7 to use for Bluetooth Internet Tethering.
And I can successfully pair with my iPad (it'll pair, but it doesn't support any actual functions)
But alas, I cannot pair with my Windows 7 Desktop, any advice on where to look to solve the problem?
I got it to pair by moving the BT adapter to a different USB port, but even with it paired, there are no services listed under the services tab. There's a direct connect option but it does nothing other than show it connected, and then disconnects. So there appears to be no bluetooth functionality between the N7 and windows (such as file sharing, etc).
Hello,
I originally posted this over on the WP8 forums, but I still haven't been able to figure this out. Maybe someone here has the solution.
I've got a Lumia 1020 and I'm trying to connect via Bluetooth to a windows 8.1 device. I'm able to pair the devices, but as soon as that process is complete, the connection drops. On my phone, I can tap on the name of my computer, and it will reconnect, but it lasts for literally 3 seconds, before dropping the connection again. I've tried connecting to both my Surface RT and my windows 8.1 ultrabook with the same result. The phone will connect to my car stereo just fine, and I never have to do anything with it. Is there some sort of protocol that's missing in Windows 8 to allow phones to connect via Bluetooth? My main use for this would be music streaming, and using my tablet as a hands free device.
My eventual plan is to mount my Dell Venue 8 Pro in my car as a carpc, so I would like to figure this out somehow. I've tried disabling the Microsoft Bluetooth enumerator, and strictly use the Intel Bluetooth 4.0 adapter, but still, the same thing happens. I can't even stream music from my phone.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Dustin
I should also mention that I've tried connecting an android phone with the same outcome
The connection drops because nobody uses it. As soon as some app open a socket between the phone and tablet, the connection will pop up again. This is the default behavior of bluetooth. The devices are first paired, and connection is opened only after something needs it.
My pc is able to discover and pair with several other Android devices from the Galaxy family and other LG devices without an issue. This Galaxy Grand Prime will discover and pair, but will not connect. Essentially it will perform the handshake but have no functionality ( I work from home and click to dial my calls from my pc which then dials from the phone). It gets to the point where it will ask me to verify the pairing code is valid on both devices and then I cannot get any functionality after that.
I have factory reset the GGP
I have removed the bluetooth drivers and reinstalled and updated
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Same Problem
I have a Lenovo W520, and the GGP REFUSES to connect. I can send files FROM the GGP to W520 seamlessly, but not pair or send from W520 TO GGP. I'm sure both of us would LOVE to solve this problem. Oh, and my OS is Windows 7 Professional.
Basically the problem is the SGGP is a piece poop from a poopy company, hope that helps.
