Brill, let's just hope no delays again!
Last year it took 2 1/2 weeks after Android Lollipop was released for Nexus Devices that we got it for the One M8 GPE. I assume it'll be around the same time this year. So around the 24 of this month we might see something.

Oh my goodness.
This is some good news, I hope they'll follow up to this unlike 5.1.
I am curious what this means for the Sense-d Version, and of course for Verzion as last year Verzion M8 got it during March.
Either way : HYPE.
Since there is already an update discussion thread for the m8, I'm going to close this thread. Please post comments about updates there. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to send me a PM.
Thank you for understanding,

If there's any of you Indians who've bought this phone from somewhere else, or are wanting to buy this, we're in for some good news. I E-mailed Samsung yesterday about the release of the phone here and this is their reply.

Any thoughts on this? I myself am very excited as I was waiting to buy this. And I'm quite sure now that they will release, because if it wasn't going to launch they wouldn't have said anything. As always, this thread is up for discussion.

I have successfully closed two threads today. :victory:
Since the thread is attracting the trolls, I'm closing this one. Assuming it's nontrivial, it would be really useful if you wrote up a guide on how you did it since I didn't see one looking in general. If you want me to reopen this thread so you can write one up, please PM me and let me know.
As scheduled,The HTC "EYE Experience" software update has started rolling out first for the HTCOneM8 with Android 4.4.4 Kitkat. This variant got the ROM version 3.28.401.6, the update weigh is approximately 252 MB.
The One M8 may be an exception, because the update would be scheduled to roll out beside the futur Android L update in some weeks certainly for the HTCOne M7, E8, Mini 2, Mini, Max, HTCDesire 816, 820 and HTCButterfly2...
The final Android L version might be unveiled next week (rumored 16th October), HTC could propose an upgraded Sense 6 version for this launch.

I had sold my Idol 3 a couple of months ago because I wanted something else blah blah blah. Well I realized I actually miss it so while I was the Best Buy site I saw they had the Idol 3 5.5 for $ 149.00 so I went and picked it up. When I got home and connected it to wifi it said their was an update. Lo and behold MM
