People were asking for the OTA Zip so here it is.
....You are using this at your own risk I am not responsible if you ruin your tablet.
This is my first REAL contribution to the forum so if I've done something wrong please let me know and I will correct it.
I was able to flash this using the stock recovery.
If you flash the update and want root back or just don't like the update this is completely reversible.
If you are rooted you will need to flash back to stock firmware before you can flash this update. Plenty of threads here that will walk you through how to go back to stock.
If you are still on firmware P907AUCU1AND7 you will need to upgrade to P907AUCU1ANK2 before P907AUCU1BOH3.
This is the link to P907AUCU1ANK2 KitKat OTA update.

I suggest putting the updates on your SD Card.
Boot into recovery. Restart the tablet holding the volume up as it restarts.
Go to apply update from external storage and select the update zip.
Let it do its thing and you will be updated.
Perhaps some kind soul out there will find a way to add root to this update then I would be a happy guy.

Thank you a lot !!!!
Well it worked, yay, thank you so much for making a zip file, you are awesome!!...Now we just have to figure out how to root this sucker

I'm still on 4.4.2 can I use this to update?
dont work here, the P907AUCU1ANK2 work fine, but the P907AUCU1BOH3 gimme this type of errors:
E: Error in tmp sideload package.zip
status 7
and
E unknow volume for path sdcard1
any idea?
I had same error except it referenced unnecessary files or the like just before the error.
I was rooted before last 4.4.2 update. It installed ANK update fine(no more root possible though) but 5.1.1 failed.
I reinstalled 4.4.2 rooted it AGAIN and changed CSC files back to ATT(I was messing with changing region so could install Europe version through ODIN), only one file had not been overwritten by re-install.
Unrooted completely and Then installed ANK AND 5.1.1 updates and it took that time. After initial 4.4.2 system Odin flash it factory reset this time. I had reinstalled 4.4.2 numerous times(ODIN) without this happening before.
When I updated my 2nd tablet it was never rooted but a few things were dorked by Previous owner so I factory reset it first. It came with ANK already installed so just updated to 5.1.1 with no issues.
I believe being rooted and installing the ANK update then 5.1.1 dorked something up.
I think I would unroot fully then try if still doesn't work do a factory reset then install.

You must be fully stock and not rooted. It will not install if you are rooted.

I used ODIN to go back to stock and remove root, http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-pro-12/general/sm-p907a-att-version-news-t2850564/post54879249#post54879249
Then without booting into stock and signing in, I installed both zips in recovery mode. Took a little bit longer than normal loading the AT&T splashscreen for the first time but it's working great!
I'm constantly facing a reboot \ crash loop the minute I get on 5.1.1 (stock, knox 0x0). Even went so far as to completely re-stock via KIES, and OTA ANK2...then finally 5.1.1. No luck.
I've repeated it various ways and combinations, multiple times without success. reboots either immediately after splash or within 2 - 3 mins after boot. No issues on AND7 or ANK2. Any ideas?
I'm not familiar with ATT, whether they lock their bootloaders or not, but whatever the case is... you may never be able to root again (if they do) or wait an unusually long time (if they started to with 5.1.1 like with some newer devices)
needless to say, a rom can be modded to include root a lot easier than giving you a new way to flash the rom
OP can you please change your thread name I am happy reading 5.1.1 for note pro 12.2 and then disappointed every time I read the build number couse it's for at&t

The title mentioned P907A which is AT&T model., P905V is for Verizon.
You should know the Note Pro wifi only is SM-P900 which 5.0.2 is the latest version. Only the Tab Pro SM-T900 Wifi gets to 5.1.1
The fact that 907 is in the zip file name may escape some people though. Typically titles are a little more descriptive when it comes to distribution so I can understand the reason for the rename request.

I know about different versions but it would be easier to understand when you would write At& t note pro getting 5.1.1 and not note pro and then the hint for model in the end of thread title in build nr... don't understand me wrong when I open the thread on Tapatalk with my note 4 I only see :
Note pro 12.2 finally getting 5.1.1 ( the build nr in the title is hide in ...).
anyway I know p900 is wifi and exynos while p905 LTE and snapdragon. Same for tab pro
and there are 5.1.1 builds out for both tab pro's t900 and t905.

Thank you again.
I'm also getting (Status 7) error and cant get round it for some reason
my device was rooted which seemed to make the first update go on without any error but the second one isn't installing. when I put it back to stock to tried both updates without root in the first place they failed. so im going to try put it back to stock then root then install first update, which seemed to help my problem of blue screen but I didn't only use it for a short while.
any help?
When I try reboot into recovery mode to install the zip it goes into the files within the zip. I have no idea what to do.
Updates don't work for me
I'm having some trouble using these updates. When I try to apply either one through the recovery, I get two messages:
footer is wrong
signature verification is wrong
I've got an AT&T SM-P907a that has never been rooted and is pure stock. It had been up to the ANK2 firmware, so I tried your BOH3 package and got these messages. I ended up using ODIN to return back to the original stock version, but I can't use either of your packages now.
To add to the confusion, I can't update using ANY standard, official method. Kies 3 says there are no firmware updates available, even when I went back to AND7 stock and the OTA check for updates function says the same thing.
Is there an ODIN package somewhere for BOH3 that I could just use?
Thanks!
I updated at least 8 of SM-P907A from Kitkat to Lollipop via this way. Most would go smoothly but one I got stuck at the second update due to error.
I flashed the firmware of ND7 downloaded from sammobile, then proceeded to update via SD card, it worked without problem.
Try it, flash back the original firmware via Odin, then update via SD card. A fresh and clean stock ROM will make the update easier.

Sorry if this is a newbie question, but if I root my Galaxy Note 3 (N9005, Vodafone Australia), will it still get OTA updates?
I ask because I used to have a HTC Desire HD, and after rooting and installing Cyanogenmod, I tried to put the Nandroid backup of the stock rom back on, which was fine but for some reason wouldn't install the OTA updates. It would tell me there was an update and download it, but would fail to install.
Thanks!

If it does install you will loose root... But I believe if the system is found to be custom in any way it will fail on install of OTA or will actually tell you that the phone has been modified and no updates available for you

Thanks for the reply. Just out of curiosity about the HTC Desire HD that has since been given to a less tech-savvy relative, is there a way to unroot so the OTA update will work??
I rooted my N3 3 days after buying and then tried to get an OTA update. It didn't download first, as my phone was set to custom. After using Wanam's setting to "reset" the custom status, I could download the OTA update but couldn't install it.
Basically, with root you can still check if there's an official update available, but you can't install.

Anyone know how it actually tells if the phone has been rooted? Surely there's a way to reset it to unrooted/non-custom state so OTA updates work again...

The boot loader and the os itself scan for certain things such as modified kernel/recovery or installation of busy box.
The Samsung's aren't so bad, you can just flash back the stock rom and factory reset to start getting ota updates again. On htc phones you have to unlock the boot loader to root and its a one way process. Once unlocked you can never get ota updates again.

i have the same problem here, i would like to update MK2 but i cant.
used wanam exposed for fake > failed @ installation.
do i have to unroot or factory reset for update?
i dont want to install a cwm at the moment.
thx
Once you have rooted, the system partition has been modified so Samsung doesnot allow you to OTA update. It checks MD5hash for the consistency. Factory reset doesn't help because it only format userdata partition.
If you r rooted, better go to sammobile.com, download the latest firmware version, copy it to sdcard and flash via Mobile Odin Pro. This way you can keep the old bootloader so you can fallback (downgrade) to the older firmware later.
Thank you.
what is when i tripped the knox count?
Its 0x1 now. I was on new bootloader before.

I need to keep Knox at 0x0.
There must be a way of updating.
A couple of people have mentioned downloading from SamMobile and flashing back to stock. If I do this, what happens to twrp?
If twrp stays, I don't want it conflicting with a non-rooted phone (due to flashing stock) and being bricked
U can get upgrade with kiss not OTA but u must install wanamp exposed n change system into official. Its work on rooted stock rom.

I tried running my phone in Odin mode and installing an older version of 4.2.2 (from May, I believe), but every time I run it, the FAIL box appears. Is there a another way of downgrading, or I am doing it wrong?
Thanks for any and all help!
At this point you are stuck on 4.3 ( I'm guessing Mj6 leak) until there is an odin flashable rom for mj9 the Mj6 update contained knox security among other things that prevents the downgrade (blown qfuse and such) hope that answers your question

I believe he took the OTA update that AT&T pushed overnight. But yes, your correct that he will be unable to downgrade for the foreseeable feature due to Knox and what will likely be another incremental qFuse. I'm staying on 4.2.2 with SafeStrap on MF3 for a few more weeks to see what developments take place due to the release of 4.3 finally.
We need to be more specific when stating limitations. We can assume MJ9 incremented the qfuse based on past updates. So what that means is you cannot revert aboot/BLs to a prior version. It remains unclear as to whether MJ9 BL's will boot prior kernels. I havent had a chance to look at the MJ9 files yet.
What about taking his phone to Best Buy to have them flash MF3 on it?
Could be they still have it in the computer maybe.

The blowing of a q-fuse means it is literally impossible to downgrade, even for Best Buy. Once you're on it, that's it. All they can do is take the new 4.3 build and flash it.
I received the OTA update.
Anyways, thanks for all the quick replies. Is there a way to re-add the "Mobile Data" toggle? I don't like how they removed that, and limited the toggle tray to 10 (instead of being able to scroll through all the toggles).
EDIT:
Is there a way to re-hide the apps in the App-Drawer? (I liked being able to display only the ones I wanted)
awsomeness!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4707707 (ERIC-MOD) for guiding me, today I would like to share my experience on how to downgrade the SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 10.1 (GT-N8000) from the Samsung official firmware update Android 4.4.2 BACK TO Android 4.1.2
Requirements
-1. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8000 (for models like N8010 or N8013 may work also) *NOT A BRICKED ONES
-2. Root access required (For those doesn't know how to root, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cv8440QhHsw this guide will help you)
-3. [root] Mobile ODIN Pro https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.mobileodin.pro&hl=en
-4. Note 10.1 GT-N8000 ANDROID 4.1.2 Jellybean Firmware http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=gt-n8000 (If you're having N8010: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=gt-n8010 If you're having N8013: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-N8013 ) Make sure to find your own country's firmware (Update: Here's a new link for firmwares: https://samsung-firmware.org/model/GT-N8000/ )
Optional
-Notebook or PC running Windows
-Samsung USB Cable (Use genuine if possible)
It is very good to hear that Samsung had published a new firmware update for Note 10.1, that is the newest Android version (KitKat 4.4.2 update), but it is also very annoying that all the functions we usually used are gone (Example: Screenshot button, S Pen Shortcut Toolbar, Multi Window and so on). It also became very laggy (don't know whether you experience such problem) and can't even multitask anymore. Some of you might not experience that because it depends on how you uses the tablet, but some of you may be regretting why did u update your device......you might be searching for a guide to downgrade it..... And you found this post!
I'm not responsible if you bricked your device or making your device even worse using this tutorial! If you don't think that you are experiencing any problem or actually you liked Android KITKAT more than JELLYBEAN, you have the rights not to downgrade it, I am not forcing you to downgrade your device, its your own choice. Also, YOU ARE TAKING YOUR OWN RISK TO DO THIS BECAUSE YOUR WARRANTY WILL BE VOID!
Let's Get Started
Preparation
1. Make sure your device is ROOTED.
2. Backup all your important data and all your apps, you may use Helium Backup for Android
3. Make sure you have [root] Mobile ODIN Pro installed on your device.
4. Make sure you downloaded the Android 4.1.2 firmware into your device's SD card or internal storage.
*Optional- or download it using PC and transfer to your device.
Main Instruction
1. Launch [root] Mobile ODIN Pro.
2. Grand access with superuser.
3. Mobile Odin Pro requires an add on, so DOWNLOAD IT.
4. Select "Open File... (Open file to archive .tar, .tar.md5, and separate files supported)"
5. Locate to where you downloaded your 4.1.2 firmware.
6. Everything will be automatically done, now just TICK the Wipe date and cache, TICK the Wipe Dalvik cache (as shown in the picture below)
7. Click Flash firmware (please keep in mind your device will factory reset it)
8. Wait for some time and it should be revert back to your BELOVED ANDROID 4.1.2 JELLYBEAN SYSTEM!
It's simple, but only the time matters. So this is how I Downgrade it (Again SUPER THANKS TO http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4707707 MR. ERIC-MOD, without his help, I wouldn't have my device getting downgraded).
This thread shows how he helped me out http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...how-to-downgrade-note10-1-n8000-to-4-t2807106
Hope you guys enjoy this~ If you have any question, or you find that I am wrong, reply me to let me know so that i can update the details~
If I've helped you, please give me a "Thanks" by pressing 'thanks button', or also say thanks to Eric-Mod
Q: Can I use Odin PC version?
A: Sorry, you can't. It might end up soft breaking your device.
Q: Can I downgrade my device to android 4.1.2 with a custom android 4.4.2 rom?
A: It's better not to downgrade using this method as it is used for downgrading from Samsung Official android 4.4.2 firmware to android 4.1.2 firmware, not a custom android 4.4.2 firmware.But...you can still try it if you want to take the risk. (AUG, 3rd, 2014, Tested by a junior member 'johnattas' from XDA http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=5092748 , was told that downgrading from a custom rom using this method was a success. More info on page 3, you can find it yourself)
*PS* 1. received a complaint that after downgrading, should not allow Samsung to update itself or else may cause brick.
2. received a complaint that after downgrading, cannot charge the device when it is turned off. Still can charge when turned on.
3. received a private message from andrewjcox telling that the above method had successfully downgraded his Note 10.1 N8020 model. Not sure how he did it on "N8020" device, message him for more info if you need help.
Note: I will keep updating this thread for more detailed tutorial. (Discontinued)
Note! 10th of June, 2016 I will no longer provide supports to this tutorial., Chances of worsening your device are low I would say, you can still use the tutorial but it is your own RISK to do that.

You want to update to the samsung official update kitkat? I recommend you don't update, it's laggy, some of key features has gone, and this is why i posted this thread for downgrading back to 4.1.2 jellybean.
Root also lets you to have more options to modify your tablet... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cv8440QhHsw This is a very simple way to root it.
Please tell me if I had misunderstood what you have said and by the way it is not really possible to revert bootloader as i can't find any tutorial for this until now.

Well... Maybe it will be possible in the future because IMPOSSIBLE = I'M POSSIBLE:fingers-crossed:, but you dunno how long you will need to wait for someone who finds out how to unlock it, and even though if someone really unlocks it already, doesn't mean he will do tutorial for how to unlock (anyway i found this http://www.galaxyunlocker.com/pages/how-to-unlock-samsung-galaxy-note-10-1-n8000 if you liked). You get what i meant?

OH PLEASE DON'T! It MIGHT ending up soft breaking your device. Thats why I mentioned [root] mobile odin pro for downgrading.
battery wont charge when note is turned off
I downgraded my n8000 to jb 4.1.2 exactly as you described
Every thing is ok but when note is off and connected to charger
Only battery icon stuck and not charging only charge when note is on
I did not know there was a problem with downgrading from 4.4.2, so I casually flashed a custom 4.0.4 ROM and then a custom 4.1.2 ROM. So far, there has been nothing wrong with my N8000, but seeing this worried me a bit. Am I supposed to do anything else?

Same here. I was on official 4.1.2 with root and custom recovery and did a nandroid backup before I upgraded to official 4.4.2 the other day.
The custom recovery got replaced with stock recovery after the upgrade so I reflashed it (the custom recovery) in Odin 3.09. I then booted into custom recovery and restored the nandroid for my 4.1.2 backup.
Everything is working just fine, no charging issues with the screen on or off.
same device info but not rooted
Hi. I also like to downgrade my n8000 and I've checked your other post, we have the same information about our device but mine is not yet rooted. Honestly I don't know what is rooted or not. I just download a root checker in the playstore coz i've read it in your other post and it says my device is not yet rooted. (Also, i'm not a techie person hehehe so I don't know some other complicated terms ) Can i downgrade without rooting it? Hope I can get back to the jelly bean firmware coz the kitkat really sucks. Hope you can help me. Thanks in advance
Nah mate you have to be rooted.

Hello mate, you MUST ROOT to downgrade. If you dont know how to, follow this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cv8440QhHsw STEP BY STEP, you will get your device rooted and you may continue downgrading following instructions in tutorial.

You can downgrade without rooting. There is one possibility to downgrade without rooting your note 10.1. The method involves downloading stock 4.1.2 rom from sammobile and then removing bootloader files from it then u can flash that modified file with pc odin easily.

Its 4.05 bootloader still. Somehow in the zip its called bootloader-flo-flo-04.05.img
There's a new kernel, some changes in the source. Its compiled March 21
Not much else changed
Has any one got the ota yet ?
@Vkk187
ofc not.
Flash the stock image with NRT and check "dirty flash" and that will not delete your apps and data.
Yet to unlock my BL ...I know it's simple . Will do it some day [emoji18]
AonI updated to 5.1 rooted stock via TWRP a couple weeks ago.

I just completely flash-all every time a new build comes out as I do not know how to side load using NRT or TWRP (am I wasting my time on doing it this way). If someone could please explain to me how to side load I would be forever grateful. I have searched and cannot find clear instructions or walk through on side loading
Having read wugfresh page,it says Since lollipop, its hard to sideload OTA now. I myself try it last night with my rooted stock recovery,it fails to install the OTA from google, even if file has been downloaded automatically. Its harder to get OTA install smoothly nowadays especially if you on lollipop. No choice had full flash without wipe. And reroot again.

Actually, it's just as easy sideloading as it's always been. The difference is that you can't sideload an OTA (or receive one in any way) if you've done any kind of alterations to the system. This includes rooting and/or flashing custom recoveries and kernels. Even if you unroot there are still residue alterations in your system, meaning you'll have to do a full system flash anyway.
It's worth mentioning that unlocking your bootloader does not prevent installing an OTA.

Any versions of Android on the Nexus 7 2013 ran fine for me.
Hi all,
Im using an S7 Edge on Nougat.
I used odin and cf room (https://download.chainfire.eu/930/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-hero2lte-hero2ltexx-smg935f.zip) to root my device.
After the process finished, my phone rebooted but stays on the animated samsung logo.
I've done a search, and im a little lost - please help - any help is useful.
Thank you
I never used Auto Root but if you look at the chainfire page, and see the S7 Edge it is just for 6.01 and not nougat. I think that's the problem

I think that you need to flash the stock firmware for your country with ODIN. Maybe someone else can verify this?
Trying this and im getting Secure check failed (bootloader).
I'm scared and need help.. Anything?
Hi,
You have to flash a Nougat stock firmware if you wish to flash using Odin. Samsung bootloader (Knox) doesn't allow an official firmware downgrade, and IIRC that message you are getting happens when you're trying to flash an older version of Android.
Get a newer stock firmware and try again, or if you prefer you can just flash a custom recovery and flash a custom ROM (which may be faster and already comes rooted). Also next time search for a rooting method for your Android version, rooting uses of the system partition, that means if you try using an old method, there's a risk of something not working fine.
All the best,
~Lord

Hi Lord,
Just did what you mentioned, you were spot on - the older bootloader caused issues with the data partition so i lost all apps/data and had to start from a scratch nougat install.
All is working now - appreciate your help, both of you - i will research more in future.
