Please point me in the direction - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have been out of the root and rom loop for over a year but I'm having to use my old note 3 again. It's a sm-900v (whatever it was from Verizon) and I'm running it on AT&T network.
I just need to find roms that work for this device because I updated through kies and got lollipop but the dialer is absolutely not functional. If someone could take a minute or two and show me where to go for this old phone, I will love you forever. Lol

Thanks. I couldn't find that subsection in the app but then again it seems to be having lots of issues since it force updated.

How to upgrade rooted Note 3 from 4.4.2 to current (Newbie here)

TL;DR Help a newbie with upgrading my rooted Note 3 from 4.4.2 to a more current version please. I'm old and dumb and really tried to find an answer before embarrassing myself on a forum of experts. Knowing me, the answer is probably right under my nose. Go easy on me <3
Hey guys,
I used the search function on this site and on google but was unable to find what I'm looking for.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with T-Mobile. I have Android aversion 4.4.2 and my model number is SM-N900T.
I rooted my phone using a guide I found on youtube to get superuser for the purpose of being able to play emulators on my phone, such as Snes9x EX+, Nostalgia.NES Lite, ePSXe, etc. They all work great. I am not using a custom ROM.
The problem I'm facing is that I don't understand if I need to unroot (correct term?) my phone and just get the auto updates, or to download and install them manually, but I'm unable to receive auto updates over the air as I'm sure you guys would know since this is your hobby and are versed in this sort of thing. I don't even know how to do either really properly but am not afraid to try.
The reason I'm wanting to upgrade now (which might be completely unrelated) is that I haven't been receiving text messages from either my sister or my roommate, whom both of their last messages were received by me on Aug. 5th. I tried contacting my carrier and they said they didn't detect a problem. Both of their carriers said the same thing (one being T-Mobile as well). I guess this is just another step in troubleshooting but I would like to believe this is a network issue.
Any advice would help and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Ugh please delete. Wrong forum. I can't figure out how to.

G900P in Europe?

Hi!
I've bought a Galaxy S5 (G900P) from Ebay last year, but I wasn't aware that the Sprint variant is meant for the US. (just realized that now, since I ran into problems). I've used it for almost a year now, running Android 5.1.1 with Cyanogenmod custom ROM on it - here comes the thing - as G900F. (which I just realized aswell, thinking back, and checking screenshots / Windows logs). The About Phone section, the usb drivers in Windows, several other things claimed it was G900F firmware on it - and I was able to use 3g mobile internet on it, was connected to Vodafone Hungary without problems. (turns out I can't use 4g in Europe with this variant, that's my bad). The Recovery mode (used Phil'z) and the Download mode both displayed G900P..I'm not sure what to think now.
The problems started when a few days back, Cyanogenmod announced the 13rd version, and my auto-update on CM12 took its curse, and updated it. The whole thing went smooth, phone rebooted, and instantly got hotter and hotter, draining the battery seriously fast. I've tried several apps, methods, none could help it, so I decided to just stick with Android 6.0.1 (since it came with the CM13).
Through 2 days of suffering and reading forums, pages till my eyes bled out, I managed to have a stock G900P 6.0.1. Android on my phone, it's currently charging, but here comes the fun, I'm not able to get mobile internet (3g). I could connect to Vodafone Hungary somehow, calling, and receiving calls, but there are several other things wrong with the phone like this. I've also tried to revert back to 5.1.1 (even the Stock ROM would be fine, I'd gladly skip on CM12), but Odin failed and failed each and every time.
So my question is: I know it's possible, because I DID have it, but I don't know how to anymore - G900F firmware on a G900P phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
(current status - Android 6.0.1 with stock G900P firmware - unrooted / I think/ ; without custom recovery, in Download mode both things say Official)
P.S.: if this subforum isn't the place for a thread like this, I'm asking a mod to please move it to a rightful section, thank you!

Frustrated over firmware!

Hey guys, hope someone can help this idiot out here.
I have an s8+, purchased from Argos in the UK unlocked, using it with a 3 sim card.
Over the weekend I got the oreo update, let it run and then realised I no longer had wifi-calling (kind of a major thing in my house)
After a bit of googling I saw I wasn't the only one, so I decided to try and downgrade it to Noughat using Odin.
I managed to do it, kinda (yet still no wifi calling) but I can't seem to find the right poxy firmware for it! Each one I try has different things in the settings menu that wernt' there before or things that when you click the phone crashes completely.
I've tried just about every one listed on Sammobile and getting nowhere! Listed under Galaxy S8+ SM-G955F
Any help appreciated.
Self update.
Just flashed it with the 8.0 3 Branded Firmware.
Got my wifi calling back and the settings menus look about right!
Just need to get rid of all the 3 bloatware now tho

lineage-16.0-20200905-nightly - Menu button activates itself

Hi, first post here. Installed TWRP and upgraded my wifes phone to LineageOS 16. Most things are working well, but the menu key is constantly activating without a key press. I'm a networking guy by trade and phone fiddling not really my strong point. My Google Fu always seems to fail me in situations like this too.
Any ideas? There's also an issue with Bluetooth which constantly crashes if used. Do I need to raise a new thread for that?
The phone itself is a UK version, so that's also a bit confusing when there's builds offered for AT&T, Sprint, Verizon etc. Also I've not upgraded further past this nightly build. Should I try this? Am I right in that the process should be to wipe only system partition then apply the upgrade?
Cheers.
Oh if you need me to post any further details about phone or whatever just shout and I'll get on it.
Reads as you may have installed for the wrong phone model .
I don't think so. The options presented to me over at download.lineageos.org were;
Galaxy Note 3 LTE (N9005/P) hlte
Galaxy Note 3 LTE (N9008V) hltechn
Galaxy Note 3 LTE (N900K/L/S) hltekor
Galaxy Note 3 LTE (N900T/V/W8) hltetmo
The phone model number is SM-N9005 and so the specific image I installed, after a full backup and full wipe is;
lineage-16.0-20200905-nightly-hlte-signed.zip
Non xda rom suggest you go back to the source .
Is there another rom that anyone could recommend?
