Hi everyone. I've gone rather attached over the course of the few funds, to the minimalist, stripped-down style of the classic contacts list, and text messaging, with the black background, and easy-to-read fonts. Since I have not seen any of the themes being used after android 4.1 ( so behind the curve. I know) I do not know what the new text theme, and contacting look like, but I certainly did not like any of the new ones I saw.
Here are pictures of the classic themes I want to install on my Moto X.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

It might just be lying right under my nose, but how do I get those icons that show on your Today screen just like the ones displayed on the Windows Mobile ads I see everywhere in the city? (The ones with the Pocket PC with a green wallpaper and five icons displaying outlook, contacts, word, internet explorer, and excel)
I'm sure it's a plug-in, but which one is it?
example below:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I've been looking everywhere for it... haven't found anything sensible yet.

the mostly are other theme's and i don't want instal another theme. Everything is perfect except the color of my call history and the calendar. Other things that just can edit this?
I recently read through some threads and became interested in the windows7 icon themes for android. I sat down and started messing around making my own icons this past weekend.
I have no trouble with figuring out the pixel dimensions or making the icons at all, but what I can't figure out is how to get an unread count on the gmail or text icons. I know it has something to do with an apk manager or something, I just can't find a good tutorial or thread on how to easily set it up and go about making the changes.
I'm running Ubuntu10.10 (the ubuntu studio version that includes gimp, inkscape, ect.).

Any help is appreciated!

We all know, the default android contact application is not so great compare to HTC Sense Contacts
Go Team launches the brand new Stock Contact alternate and it looks great.
Looks like they have modified the MIUI contacts app(looks similar)
