Notification/Ringtone sounds acting up [CyanogenMod 10.2/11]

I have first started experiencing this on CM 11 thinking it was a nightlies issue and decided to go back to CM 10.2.0
Unfortunately I still have the sound issue. Here's a link showing a screen recording of it misbehaving
LG G2 D802
Running CM 10.2.0 freshly installed.
If any know app causes this or if anyone knows a solution to this please provide your assistance. Thanks!

CM 11 mail app on stock rom

Hi,
I have an i9500 GS4 and well i cant use CM as it has bugs that i can live with them, like BT problems (need it for work).
Now I'm really in a need of the mail app that come in CM. is it possible to install it on a stock based rom?

Most likely, yes.
Just download a cm rom and copy the email apk from /system/app to your s4 system/app and change permissions to rw-r--r--.
Reboot and test

I'd just try installing the apk normally first. I don't think it needs to be a system app.

You can use another kernel.I am using CM and everything works.My only problem is low mic volume.

I came from unofficial cm11.
Did a full wipe (dalvik, cache, factory reset).
Then installed VanirAOSP and gapps.
And everything running smooth.

just a little problem: adding a aptoide store link will open a browser popup and i can't add any store.
on other rom sems work propely I think is rom relative.

Very good, realy fast ROM!!!
I've one problem. I need to use PIN for a lock screen, if I reboot the phone I can't write any number and can't lock the phone.
EDIT:
I push it to a charger after 1-2 hour the PIN pad works

Yes nfc is working. I used it to beam pictures from my Galaxy Nexus.

You have to root your phone first.
I used Chainfire's cf auto root.
There is a pretty good guide here: http://androidxda.com/root-samsung-galaxy-s4-active-gt-i9295
And then install a custom recovery

I found a little "bug"
After OTA update (052514) when pressing the Vanir update tile in quick settings, it flips the screen to show notifications.
Before updating it took me to the update screen.
It's no big deal, just thought I'd report it

Same thing here. I never use it, so I didn't notice before.
EDIT: When trying to enable android debugging, i get Unfortunately, Settings has stopped.
When i go back in Developer options, debugging is enabled but doesn't work.

People with the gsm selection bug ... This bug is because the rom source doesn't allow for changing such things so we had to fix a lot of conflicts ... Just go up with selections s little bit and choose other modes until it shows gsm , the modes mashed up ....USB debugging issue is there because maybe u haven't done a data wipe , if not please do one a give me results ... MY DEVICE IS UNDER MAINTENANCE ... Thank you people for using ROMs .

I don't see the point of being upset by encryption. It's a transparent process to add security in case someone tries to access to your phone without your consent. Even iPhones are encrypted, and it doesn't prevent tweaking, rooting, flashing roms.
It's really not a problem let it go.

I have also had issues with the encryption: if it gave me the password that'd be different but it made it incapable of flashing anything, recovery was basically useless and fastboot wiping bricked the phone forcing me to reflash the signed rom and then WOW encrypting again. This happened over and over for hours - error fastboot flashing supersu, booting other ROMS. Super irritating. If there was a page with a guide exclusively about how it worked and how to get around it thatd be one thing but Ive never used encryption before so its super annoying.
Vanilla Unicorn:
No problems flashing, haven't noticed any issues with basic features other than the phone FC once or twice when calling or in settings setting up the finger lock.: setting up the finger lock seems more difficult. The power button has taken a couple extra presses here and there to turn on screen. The data also seems less stable? Ive been home all day and I've had drops in speed that I didn't have before - this could just be from network overload on Sunday and everyone being home too? I use the hotspot for my Roku to run Netflix so this is a problem, but the cast screen works so well that I can just run Kodi off the phone. Camera has a little ?noise?, more so on selfie. Without DASH it charges at 1500mA/h, but haven't had a chance to really test battery yet. I don't know if OOS had an optional encrypt - but its a nice feature here. Overall the rom is smooth, experience pleasant and I'd say my first impression is GTG for daily driver.
Benchmarks without modifying anything:
Quadrant: 29491
Geekbench 3: 2354, 5275
Antutu: 145,762
These scores are actually better than the unmodified OOS scores I got. For the warning of "CM13 not running as well as OOS" it seems to run fairly comparably. Awesome job.
How do you think it compares to your Beanstalk rom? And how is Vanilla Unicorn different than Dirty Unicorn?

Maybe it is my phone, but no bugs to report. I do agree with @SmashTime1904 in the fingerprint area though. Not that it was difficult, but was really sensitive. When adding it would just keep skipping due to sensitivity.
Only problem I had was needing to disable root completely so I could get this to work with my MDM setup. Tried all the root cloaks, but none worked. Had to manually delete the binary, but then started having issues, so reverted back to stock.
This ROM is definitely ready for a daily driver! Great work.

Okay this has been moved to general and can stay here. Yes the source is there and we have no policy saying you can't compile, however posting it in development and not adding to the code makes it not development related, you are merely sharing a personal compiled build.

By startup browser FC, quick charge seems to be broken. I know that it's showing slow charge on CM 14.1, latest builds, but it's quick charging. But on this Rom it seems to charge slow in fact. Double tap to wake also doesn't work. The rest is working properly. Thank you.

I have simply no idea what it is with the kernel in my aokp Rom it's broken too but I'm using latest cm 14.1 kernel sources [emoji29]

i builded a new version of my aokp rom with new kernel it seems to work again so i guess it would work again in new lineage build im just building

After i enabled weather on the lock screen it started working...Weird...and as i said in previous post its slooowly charging..

Then just use Chrome and I never use the gello application and there is a bug in the code a ssl certificate is outdated and so the code of gello can't be downloaded so I need to use that old one or no builds anymore

Good year.
Helios is more useless than this and more stable for me.
If have problem that's ok but for me is a reason to choose AICP.
