Hey folks,
After some trial on cm and going back and flashing a bit back and forth I'm experiencing bad signal reception. I think I might have a not ideal modem.
How do I determine which version I may flash? All those versions are a bit confusing. boh or coi all with different numbers. Will all of them work?
And what's up with those csc numbers?
My phone is a n910f trltexx currently Rom is stock 5.1.1 COI1.
Baseband is COH4
Bootloader and PDA are COI1
CSC version is COH5
I'm on German vodafone. Which versions of modem and radio would I be able to flash without harming my device???

Hello
I have just found a interested ROM called Phronesis Rom v3.0. I want to flash it to my Note 3 but I have a few things need to ask:
1. I'm having a Note 3 LTE SM-N9005 (TGY) 16GB Version. Is this ROM compatible with the 16GB version?
2. I don't know the relationship between the Baseband and Kernel. Do I need to find a baseband / kernel that is fit for my country?
Thanks for help.
Basics
Baseband = modem = relevant to your network /many work on any network .
Kernel is the hardware/ OS interface not relevant to any country .

I believe it shouldn't be a problem but you might want to ask it there.

Hello.
I'm tired of waiting for Samsung to finally roll out the marshmallow update to my device. So I did some searching and turns out Spain already has the 6.0 update. As theyre using the same model number as my device I started wondering if it may be possible to obtain the Spanish stock rom and just flash it via odin onto my device. (I've got a German note 4 model number sm-n910f)
PS: I hope I'm using the right forum.
Stock marshmallow for n910f hasn't come out yet. Must yet

Yes you can. What matters is model.
Hey guys,
I'd like to try install a custom ROM to see if that maybe fixes my SensorHub not working. I'd like to install the Aryamod ROM, but I noticed that it's for the build version: N9005XXUGBOJ6.
My current build version is N900XXUEBOL2.
Can someone please explain the procedure of installing a ROM for SM-N900 devices? Do I need a ROM with a baseband number that is identical to my current one?
Baseband is modem not firmware.
You have a Verizon phone use Verizon forum .

Hi. I got a question, since i am living in a very rural area, i have a bad mobile reception.
Now i would like to know if it would probably get better if i flash the corresponding modem from my provider (vodafone) and country (germany)?
If so, where can i find such modem for the G901f? I don't want to flash a whole firmware if possible, only the modem.
Thanks for replies.
Regards

Download the latest Germany (Vodafone) firmware:
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/106779/G901FXXU1CPJ1_G901FVFG1CPE3_VD2/
Flash with Odin as instructed on the page. Modem will also be flashed.
(p.s. on my G901F data remained untouched, but you can restore everything with your google account anyway)
