Hi !
My MX4 is stuck in bootloop. I want access to the fastboot mode but the bootloop consume battery faster than it charge, even with 2A charger and good usb cable (It displays Meizu black screen than shutdown for few seconds than reboot again, and If I try to access fastboot mode it say me that battery charge is inssuficient than it shutdown again). I removed battery in order to charge it manually only with cable, but I didn't find the + and the - on it with multimeter (too small connector ?)
What can I do to charge it succesfull ? If I charge battery via usb without the middle frame on it it don't charge. So can I disassemble all the phone and assemble it without the screen to reduce battery consuption ? Or can I weld 2 USB cables together in order to charge with 2 charger at the same time ?
Thank you in advance and sorry for my bad english
Have you tried to go to the recovery and flash a rom?
Sent from my MX5 using Tapatalk
I tried to go to the recovery (custom Cofface recovery) to install a rom wich was on my phone but it was a corrupted one.
Than I tried to connect my phone on my pc in recovery mode but it wasn't detected (I don't know why).
The only thing I could do was to connect the phone in fastboot mode. It worked, but the battery was empty and the phone goes off before I uploaded the update.zip on my phone.
Now, if I try to access fastboot mode it say me that battery charge is inssuficient than it shutdown again, so I'm trying to charge the battery in order to enter fastboot and solve the problem, but the bootloop consume the battery faster than the charger charge the battery.
Do you have unlocked bootloader? Or do you have the ubuntu version?
Sent from my MX5 using Tapatalk
Yeah I think, I've installed the Cofface recovery so the bootloader may be unlocked I'm right ? (sorry, my knowledges are limited)
I' have Android version
Have you followed this tutorial? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3201715
If not, you wont be able to do nothing in Fastboot mode, your bootloader is locked [emoji20]

Nope, I just flashed the custom recovery.
To be sure it's impossible to send something I would like to try, but first I have to find a solution to charge this damned battery.
And after, maybe it'll be possible to do something into the phone revovery in order to get detected by the computer instead of using fastboot ? (I'll contact Cofface if fastboot dont' work)
If I weld 2 USB cables to create a homemade Y and plug them into 2 different chargers, the voltage will be regulate by the phone and the intensities will be add up, I'm right ?
And if I think good I don't have to weld the cable 1 D+ and D- with the cable 2 D+ and D- , I just have to weld the Vbus and the grounds
Hi everybody
I found a solution to charge my phone so now I can try somethings.
Can you give me the adb command to push a file in sdcard on MX4 ? "adb push update.zip \sdcard\. didn't worked. The download worked but I can't found the file in the recovery mode
adb push update.zip /sdcard
Sent from my MX5 using Tapatalk
I don't understand, my pc say it's OK but I can't find it on my phone
And if you push it to /system, for example?
Sent from my MX5 using Tapatalk
same result. Do you think I'm able to reinstal the recovery ? Custom or original
flash philz custom recovery for mx4 when you flash it, go in wipe and "Clean to install a new ROM" (take more time) when finish go in install zip and install from sideload. Open an terminal in your pc, plug in the phone and do this command: adb sideload "cyanogen zip bla bla (and move the file from the folder to the window)
Do ok and wait, when finish the flashing start.

Okay so i have a nexus 7 right? yes, but im fairly custom to rooting and all that stuff. Well im not a nub at this stuff but i need help once in a while XD, i just got the thing to turn on again i let it die completely and the charging bug decided that it wouldn't charge. I ended up jump starting the battery and now it turns on but now i plug it in it turns on right? yes it does but now i can get access to any data thats on it. (P.S there isnt any data on it since i had to wipe cyanogenmod 6.0.1 off it) and theres only twrp recovery on the tablet, i can access twrp and the boot loader (unlocked obviously) but i cant access fast boot or push files via adb. The charging port is still good on it i know that we had it tested on a friends tablet and it worked fine. OTG usb doesn't work either i cant seem to get data on the tablet but it turns on when i plug it in, it doesnt charge when plugged into a wall adapter or a pc it just turns on when plugged into a pc. Any and all info is appreciated. (sorry for my spelling errors if there is any, also i am on linux so i dont need drivers as far as i know, i also tried on windows and its a no go the device doesnt show up on either os)
nexus 7 2012 btw

Thanks for the help but sadly ive tried that...
As the device can go into fastboot and twrp with adb and otg without data transfer being possible I'd say most likely the port is broken.
Just to be sure no adb or fastboot commands work at all right? even those which don't transfer files. If they work then your partition layout is messed up which could be fixed

Did you try to charge the N7 via wall adpater or the pc? Did you use the genuine charger that comes with the device? What does it look like when you plug it into your pc? Did it show up as a mtp device (or any kind of device) ?
Try charging the N7 with genuine charger, or via pc. Make sure you install the driver for the N7 (go google it) before plugging in. Judging by your status, it appears that you're having a defective charging port or mainboard. Usually you'll end up sending it to the manufacturer to get them replaced (hope that it won't happen :3 ).
Have you used the push files and adb function on TWRP? To the best of my knowledge, these errors don't come about often in TWRP. If you don't know to use it, look it up on Google or the Xda threads. One more thing, losing fastboot is pretty rare with N7, so if you're not sure whether the fastboot is VANISHED, go to this link: http://forums.androidcentral.com/go...1477-guide-nexus-7-factory-image-restore.html
You can contact me for more insight if all that doesn't satisfy you: [email protected]
Glad that I could help.

I flashed LineageOS 7.1 alongside its firmware.Everything went smooth, the ROM works perfectly fine until I restored back to MIUI 8 KitKat.My Redmi2 would just constantly beep non-stop.It wont boot, not even the MI logo is shown.I cant access to recovery(power+up+down) and fastboot doesn't also work.My PC couldn't detect too,it wont even charge just the beeps. So I spent literally the whole day of in-depth research, despite our upcoming exams just to revive my beloved phone. This is my main driver,so it would take me months to get a new phone. So I saw this guide and thought it might work.Whats your thoughts? Should I give it a try?
http://en.miui.com/thread-100553-1-1.html
Basically its all about placing a copper wire or a tweezers that will connect two testpoints located near the dual sim card tray. This trick is also used to revive the miPad
I am looking forward for a response.
remove battery from phone and again put battery and now connect USB cable in PC and open mi flash tool and click refresh and if it will show something like com10 or com4 or usrbug like then just flash any fastboot ROM ...
My R2P was also bricked so I could fix it by using same method of testpoint.
Have you fixed it already?

Obviously people are reading this. We don't know what to say, probably because most of us suspect the phone's fall broke something. If the fall did *not* break something in the phone, maybe using TWRP to attempt flashing a rom will work. Do you have TWRP installed? If not, use your computer (and Odin) to do so. Make sure to REBOOT IMMEDIATELY to recovery (TWRP, that is). Unplug phone from computer, replug phone into computer again. It should be recognized. Copy a rom of your choosing to the "download" directory on the phone. Then "factory wipe" the phone. (Do NOT wipe "internal storage"). Flash the rom (and gapps if this is a custom rom). Reboot. And here's hoping it works!
How can i install or go custom recovery After successful flash its not show adb or oneplus device not boot on,no bootloader, not show anything.dear

But flash was not successful. Is the phone showing any sign of life? Charging icon on screen when cable is plugged in? Anything? I fear you have broken it.
No sign of life only heating when connected to charger or USB in computer only show Qualcomm port 9008 in pc when I press both volumes+power button

Three days ago, my phone went off by itself and I had a hard time starting again, it was just loading the bootanimation, I tried to reinstall the ROM, but it did not go into TWRP, although the message Recovery appears on the screen, I insisted and after several attempts, I got into the recovery, formatted everything and I installed the AICP ROM again, and I had to restart,my phone freezes in the LeEco bootloader, then again I insisted until the ROM finally started, but soon realized that it was taking too long to start (30 minutes waiting and nothing).
So I rebooted again, and from then on, I can not go into any mode anymore, trying to access the TWRP, the phone only stays on the Recovery screen until reboot after 2 minutes, when letting the phone try to start the ROM, it only stays on the LeEco screen and restart after 2 minutes, when entering Fastboot, it enters the screen in Fastboot mode, but is not recognized by the computer, not even as unknown device, the same for Download mode.
Is there anything I can try?
Doesn't seem like a a fried motherboard. In my experience, If you fried the CPU, you would still be able to access Fastboot, if you fried the GPU part of the chip, or if the LCD has failed you would feel vibrations..
Do you thin it is possible that you accidentally put the phone into EDL mode? It can sometimes be hard to get out of, and it will give you similar issues.
To leave EDL press and hold volume down and power for 1 minute or longer.
Try this
Install the All in One tool and use it to update your android and fastboot drivers. Afterwards see if the computer recognises the phone port connection by going to Control Panel>System> Device Manager* ( Even though, you may not see the drive, you will maybe still see unknown device or te port)
Maybe a Brick?
If it does not see the phone or show a unknown USB device with port 9008
Try placing the phone into EDL mode by pressing and holding the Vol Up (+) and Vol Down (-) together while simultaneously connecting the phone by USB cable to the computer. Do you see the port or phone now? If you see port 9008 you possibly are bricked, follow the steps on my unbricking thread., if you can not get back to TWRP, or fastboot, and the phone keeps a charge. Then I would think that you are definitely bricked.
Other possible issues
The issue could be the battery. Have you tried using other USB C Cables? If you can use a different usb cable let it charge for a couple of hours then see if you can get into TWRP again . If you can enter fastboot mode try reflashing TWRP, you can use the All in One tool for this.

Thanks for answering. I've tried everything.
But I can not see the smartphone when connected. USB drivers are properly installed (I used to recover other LeEco x651, x526 and x520 devices)
I left it restarting for more than hours holding the power button and volume down, no results.
The device does not appear in the Windows device manager in any way, not even as Unknown or 9008 port.
I tried several usb cables.
There is no communication with TWRP or ROM installed and neither with the computer, even though I enter into fastboot / 9008 mode. Only LeEco / recovery logo and Fastboot screen.
I think my main memory is damaged or something.

Well that sucks, if you feel like sending to the phone to China for repair, you can find several shops that are offering to repair any damaged Leeco for $10 and an average cost of $30 for resoldering. On the TaoBao website, use Chrome for translation. Some of their ads mention overseas repair
If it's memory it would be an easy fix for them.
If you don't want to fix it, I highly recommend the Mi8 if it's within your budget, its a perfect phone and you can find them for close to $300. My brother has a Redmi note 6 Pro which is also really nice. He paid $190.
Good Luck.

When I try to go into download mode it goes to fastboot mode where it shows how to unlock the bootloader. I tried it also using adb command but it still doesn't boot up to download mode. Can anyone help?? I really want to upgrade this to pie. Edit // I have updated my g6. I don't if it worked because I let it the battery go below 5% to stop the automatic boot up or I just did it with the cable. I am using a magnetic cable so I didn't get out the one the goes through the charging port. So if you are using one, unplug the component that is inside the port then plug it with the cable when doing the procedure.
